One good dick is enough to make a woman abandon her family, convictions and morals
    Just like Bonnie and Clyde

It amazes me that Rose was totally okay throwing away a future for her blood family. They were poor, destitute. Cal was the only chance they had. And for some reason he put up with Rose, maybe it was love, hope, honor. It doesn't really matter. In the end Rose was perfectly okay throwing away every positive thing in her life for a man who prostituted himself to get on board the ship.
And then every woman on earth went "she's literally me".

It's a shitty story in that sense. Rose chooses a life of poverty with Jack rather than saving her family by marrying Cal. Then Jack dies and she apparently marries another guy with money in the US so she can frick around and live a life of comfort while her family is left ruined. Rose ends up not really sacrificing anything on a personal level.

The 90s were a different time. The trope of rich, butthole bf of the love interest started in the 70s with soap operas. They've now evolved to any white cis male who wants traditional gender roles

Women are too sensible to believe in such moronic concepts like obligation and duty.
In fact, every single tradlarper on this website should remember that this is the true face of actual femininity. Everything you think you value about traditional "femininity" was the result of male house-breaking of the female animal, and has nothing to do with the female sex itself.

Yes women are inherently selfish and often go against their own self interests. As do most men. It’s called being a human

Wrong. A man does his duty.

Noble families in England 110 years ago were more of a thing than now

Even if they were financially broke, cal Marrying into such a name and legacy would be a move up even though he was already rich

    >girl engaged to tall, attractive, wealthy guy
    >begins spending time with a hobo
    >fiance gets territorial
    >girl steals israeliteel from her fiance
    >cheats on her fiance
    >survives boat incident
    50(?) years later
    >she was married and had children
    >divers looking for israeliteel in the wreckage
    >after they give up, she throws israeliteel in the ocean
And in her dying moments, does she think about her children?
    Her husband?
    The life she lived?
No, she thinks about the hobo who fricked her on a boat 50 years ago.
This woman is a fricking menace. I am frightened by anyone who finds this movie romantic.

If a woman doesn't respect you, it doesn't matter how well you treat her. This is a brutal pill for virgins and young guys.
