>"No brim doesn't lead to no brim, nor brim to brim. People steal brimless hats, don't get caught. Live the no brim life. Others lie, cheat, and get brims. Some people stop to help a stranded motorist with no brim and get taken out by a speeding brim Stan. There's no accounting for it."
i only watched the first two saw movies, does it get better?
i liked the first one although i got it spoiled beforehand
second one was okay but tying it to the first one at the end was neat
The first two are the best, the third one establishes a formula (a group or single guy goes through a series of games in a trial while happens alternate plot of detectives trying to find the jigsaw killer) that they continued using til Saw 9 (aka JIGSAW), the quality also drops between movies, Saw 8/3D has literal pink blood.
I would only recommend watching the rest if somehow the universe, games, plot twists and Hoffman attract you because it's a pure guilty pleasure.
For me 2 and 5 are the best. They properly display the Jigsaw philosophy. Growth and redemption through the overcoming of extreme circumstances. Or people tearing themselves apart because they're unable to grow and redeem themselves.

>a movie focusing on John Kramer like The House That Jack Built, after his death, Charon arrives and they are going to presumably hell. They both have a very deep philosophical conversation about Kramer's crimes and his personal view on them while he also reminiscences about unseen games
>a movie like Die Hard, a player manages to escape a game in an unpredictable way and goes out of bounds in the facility trying to rescue other players and breaking every game from behind the scenes
>is that Jigsaw games only can be won on his terms
There were execution traps made by his followers where the players managed to escape (pic related).
To make things interesting, this "die hard player" could be an ex-follower that was betrayed by another follower and knows the in and outs of the games.

Me and my fourth-form chums think it would be quite corking if you'd sign over your oil well to the local energy concern.

Nah it gets worse, but in the funniest way possible.
If you like crazy moronic plot twists and convoluted traps you'll love it.

Would you watch/enjoy it?
First one is pretty cool. Second one should not work because the trope is that Jigsaw games only can be won on his terms
