I was very, very aware of Pixar's inception as a 7 y.o. I was aware they were making Toy Story about a year or two (or three) before it hit theaters. I don't know why I was so highly aware of Pixar.
But people back then were professionals and could write their own endings because they had fricking brains.
To think people had to wait 2 years and almost 11 months for another fully CG movie.
The next one premiered almost 2 months after.
