Times New Roman or any sort of “storybook” font always looks so badass on posters. I’ve mistakenly watched some truly awful movies solely because of it

      That is a good movie.

I realized I watched a censored version of this movie on Netflix. When I pirated it, the violence was far more graphic than I remembered. I fricking hate censorship.

That's netflix for you. They edit almost everything.

This and probably Unforgiven. Neo-westerns are in fine supply, but something pure? Yeah, not so much. Also,

No Country For Old Men. There hasn't been a good western set in the 19th century in two decades.

What is up with this movie?

    It's a borderline comedy
    >that fricking shot of Clint falling into pig shit
    >re-using the exact same shot for comical effect
    >the speech before Clint abandons his children
    >everyone acting like a dumb west stereotype as if this blazing saddles

Am I fricking insane? It's not a bad movie but it legit feels like it's constantly trying to be funny.
    >inb4 it subverts
this movie is not a deconstruction it's a farce
