I still think D&D planned on bringing him back in some way. In the show that relishes in blood and violence, they never showed her actually kill him. They probably just couldn’t think of any plot line where he would come back.
In the show he did it randomly because he was being mindcucked by women (gay)
In the books he will defeat the freys/boltons due to his genius (nightlamp) but then be cornered by the zombie horde at which point he will sacrifice her for the good of mankind (based, apocalyptic moment, impactful)
When they decided to adapt a book series that wasn't finished
Because they thought it would be done by the time they caught up (lmao)
I rewatched it for the first time recently and the moment where the entire show starts going to shit is the beginning of the faceless storyline with arya
Recently started a rewatch. S3 where Jorah, Daario and Gayworm sneak into the city and capeshit fight 30 guards was when I noticed the first crack.
Other than you know, replacing Jeyne Westerling with Talisa.
Season 1-4 were legit great, Seasons 5 and 6 were bad but the show was still sexy and edgy so watching was at least fun. But 7 and 8 were legit trash because Sansas rape literally sucked the last little bit of fun out of the show.
after the shit that was season 5 I was watching season 6 waiting for the big reveal. Even hoped it would be a season finale 1 scene moment.
instead we got more slop and disappointment
>What is the point of the golden company coming from nowhere?
aegon will invade kings landing, make danny go insane. then danny will torch aegons kings landing like she did with cerseis in the show
>What is the point of the golden company coming from nowhere?
Since the books are a fanfic version of the historical War of the Roses, Faegon and the Golden Company might Henry Tudor the guy who united the warring houses(York and Lancaster aka Lannister and Stark) and ended the war. But since in GOT nobody gets to have nice things either Dany will wipe him out since he is a Mummer's Dragon(Blackfyre) or he'll die in his first major battle like what happened to Cyrus the Younger since it's be hilarious
I began losing interest with Ned's death. The show had very few heroes, and he was far and away the most likeable of them. I thought that the story would be about Robb being the hero, but he wasn't anywhere near as likeable as Ned, and then he became an adulterer. And then he died. Then you're just left with Jon and Davos, who played second fiddle to Dany and the Lannisters. By the time the wall was being attacked, I was only really watching for the spectacle, not because I really cared about the characters or what was going on.
It's a lot of meandering, not much happens and the later books start introducing new characters. It's building up plot lines and everyone was waiting for them to be resolved in Winds of Winter which hasn't/won't come out.
it's a dramatic change of pace, so be ready for that. It's just a different perspective, feast is like the aftermath and dance builds things back up again. If you're still enjoying it now I doubt it will be enough to want to you stop
Wasn't it also part of Tywins plan, he got that house involved to prove to the Freys that Robbs untrustworthy? It could just be the fan base making Tywin more big brain than he actual was.
Yes it was heavily implied that Jeyne was sent by her mother to seduce Robb at the orders of her mother. She got pregnant, but it's not clear if she ended up drinking Milk of the Poppy or if she's still pregnant with Robb's child.
aaaggghhh...
Nailed it
Stannis sitting around for an entire season waiting to die was fricking gay
This is where I stopped watching. Still haven't seen anything after. All anyone tells me is that it's garbage.
>S5E10
Yep it falls off a cliff after and never recovers

Do you morons not remember that he burned his daughter alive

That happens in the book but they lead and small force into the city instead of it just being the Avengers Assembling.
I HATE LIFE WHY IS EVERYTHING SO TERRIBLE LOL!!
beheading the karstark

Ramsay should have made Shansa frick dogs like he did with fake Arya in the books.
when he broke his oath with the freys for foreigner pussy. he proved himself to be a shit king who puts his own desires over his kingdom's
S05E01
when areo hotah was a bald WE WUZ instead of an aryan
when they didn't return his mother as a hot undead vengeful witch

This, and cutting out characters like Victarion and Aegon entirely.
so wtf is even going on in the books? What is the point of the golden company coming from nowhere? What is going on with the white walkers?

Stannistards never stop crying

me fricking your mom
For me it was the sand sneks. It became glaringly obvious that I'm watching trash. I dropped it shortly after.
I liked HotD though.
any bookgays here? I am going through Storm of Swords now, do they drop off in quality like the show?

it's all buildup for books that will never come out
avoid

just stop reading, the fat moron will never deliver an ending
Feast drags, Dance was pretty good
When they decided to adapt a book series that wasn't finished
Could've been redeemed before this point. No turning back after
>Youch, that smarts! I'm definitely gonna need a band-aid for that one!
nothing a little sewer water and rest cant cure.
Season 2.
Worst part is, they already had a mysterious foreign female love interest with Shae, so the change didn't even add anything
back to back sexy foreign female scenes did wonders for that season. Robs girl was so hot
Wasn't it also part of Tywins plan, he got that house involved to prove to the Freys that Robbs untrustworthy? It could just be the fan base making Tywin more big brain than he actual was.
The Jaime chapters hinted that it was an inside job which is why Lady Westerling kept sneaking her daughters moon tea
