If the "muh jobs" people had their way in the present regarding immigration policy, the bad future wouldn't have happened.
At first it looks like it's going to be a message about immigrants, but then the whole joke of the episode becomes that instead of providing a real meaningful solution to the debate, the episode's "solution" is that all men must have an enormous gay orgy in the middle of town.

On one hand, large volume immigration is legitimately disruptive to the communities they enter. On the other hand, trying to prevent them from coming in the first place one way or another is hard and will compromise your way of life anyway. The overall message is that they don't have an actual answer and they just wanted to poke fun at the quandary.
You have no leverage to demand higher wages even if you prevent them from flooding your country with cheap labor. They'll just use their second best option and move the factories to third world countries. You're obsolete either way.
If no local people have jobs, no locals will have money to spend to buy the things the factories make. But let's suppose that happens anyway. There's a country with no factories and no money. People there still want stuff. So they build local factories to make the stuff they want. Where do you think factories came from in the first place?
And you can't outsource jobs like a local geologist. If you can't replace the locals with cheap immigrants, you have to charge what the locals demand or local geology won't get done.

They're not limited to selling things to locals.
So the plan is to replace the large US consumer market with the much smaller consumer markets of the places they're outsourcing jobs to? Which are smaller because the people there don't have as much money to spend, which is the point of outsourcing manufacturing in the first place?

Which presumably in real life would be fix whatever American caused issues are destabilizing South America to make working for pennies the reasonable option.
