Sega never gave anything to DiC before when SatAM and AoStH was made, and both those shows turned out popular enough for their approval. Seems like Sega figured it'd work out a third time. It didn't.

It's really just a terrible cartoon.
The pink-haired b***h was voiced by Jaleel White.
One of the good things of certain dubs, is that an actual girl voices her.
Was there no Family Matters castmember available to voice her?
Beats me, but I lost my shit hearing Sonia in German.

Besides the animation? Yes, 100%. I've only gone through the French and German versions, besides English, and both BTFO English by a country mile.
at times the german spongebob dub transcends the original, but that's probably a controversial take

They missed out on the opportunity with the foot growth episode.
