Except AoSTH was able to keep it momentum going start to finish. Sonic Boom on the otherhand you can feel they were running out of steam pretty early in season 2.
Even without comparing it to other Sonic shows, Boom just ended up fizzling out by the end to the point people just stopped paying attention. They couldn't even bother giving Sticks anything to do by then.
>still trying to push some nonexistent rivalry
I get that you worked hard on that epic chad vs virgin macro but it’s never going to take when both Adventures and SATAM fans have the rest of this godforsaken franchise to laugh at.
>the first above average Sonic show
Shit taste detected.
Sonic Boom doesn't deserve that much high praise. It's not awful but it's not great either.
Exactly, the one with a sexier Robotnik was MUCH better. I'd let him sit on my face any day of the week...
The humor was very snappy and self-aware for something that was made in France. I consider it the modern AoSTH, just as I do with Prime as SatAM

It was simply a good Sonic comedy, how it actually compares is another discussion. I'm very aware of how looney Adventures was

Ehhh, if you’re young enough you never saw AoStH and SATAM, sure, it beat the tar out of Sonic X.
Don't forget that AoStH is a YTP pioneer alongside all the Nintendon't CD-I games.

It’s even better, he didn’t even make that image, it’s at least a year old or more.
But yes, this rivalry is very, very forced.
Quite an improvement over the previous Sonic show. Honestly, Sonic X is awful.

The animation carries AoSTH a lot. While it's a crude looking show, the color palette is very nice.
The focus on comedy
It felt like a sitcom and worked because of the characters.
Except this made the occasional "serious" episodes feel jarring yet unmemorable.
It was Sonic but a sitcom that was actually funny.
For what it’s worth, loved these robot designs. Reminds me of Archie
>What went right?
Well, if yu want an answer to that question, you can watch this 3 and half hour long video retrospective about the show:
AoSTH and SATAM have a certain charm to them. Underground and X are a different story. Both are soulless.
I sometimes wonder how other characters would've been designed and portrayed had it gone on longer.
I may be some anonymous drawgay, but I might post a few ideas on /i/ 😉
>What went right?
it had a decent team of comedy writers who were basically allowed to do whatever the frick they wanted once the game flopped
The writers consistently taking the piss.
>It was the first above average Sonic show.
Wrong, that would be Sonic Underground.
