>(when Tai Lung is punching Po's belly) Stop it. I'm gonna pee
>(Stoick) When we crack this mountain open, all hell is going to break loose >(Gobber) In my undies. Good thing I brought extras
Not even KFP1 and HTTYD1 could resist in having one scatological reference
One of the most sophisticated DreamWorks movies ever. It has no scatological jokes/references.
>This one's for Space Stepmom! You lied to her!
Titan never found out that Space Stepmom was also someone in disguise.
>Antz >Shrek >Shrek 2 >Madagascar >Shrek the Third >Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa >Megamind
It's the 7th movie by PDI and the 4th movie that isn't a sequel.
Shrek Forever After was made by the Glendale division. It's the only Shrek movie that wasn't made by PDI. Most likely because of how poorly received Shrek the Third was.
Everytime I see this film I'm reminded of when I used to read John K.'s blog and he used this film as an example of what a waste it is to hire celebrities as voice actors, specifically Brad Pitt having an undistinct voice.

Jokes are usually actual jokes
Character traits can actually move the plot along as well as be played for humor
Decent message portrayed genuinely
Fun. Megamind is a fun character and enjoyable to watch on screen giving further credence that the villains are the best part of old adventure media
It combined genuine and clear love for superheroes with a fresh take: what if the villain "won" and after an emotional journey ended up becoming the new hero. Beyond that it's just familiar concepts done with a love for the material and a decent sense of humor and heart.
It's a genuinely good movie, and it's depressing that the sequel sucked so fricking bad it's unearthing all the "I told you the original was overrated!" schmucks.
>genuine and clear love
I think this is it. It toned down the cynicism found in other dreamworks films, less dumb references and spite towards the industry, and was just a genuine film trying it's best. It and KFP are just overall solid films instead of cheap shots at disney.

Do you have these memorized, or just documented?
NOBODY FRICKING CARES SHUT UP
There was a joke about Megamind getting ejected out the ass of his mech suit, so not only are you autistic but you're fricking wrong
Oh yeah, you're right. Damn it, DreamWorks.

So many memes
Is this where the smug soijack came from?
Yes
Why do zoomers meme Dreamworks, but not say Disney?

I remember all commercials for this movie just hyping the two famous voice actors because everything else would have spoilered the plot
The commercials I watched did somewhat spoil the Metroman reveal by showing him in the bathrobe playing the guitar

The movie was fantastic but man, this poster/dvd cover is dogshit! It looks like it was made by an intern messing around in Photoshop for 2 hours
