Seriously, this show is better than like all adults cartoons and 99% of all anime. I don't think there's any other show that hits the same feels that it does.

I did. I used to think that this was just as good as any other cartoon as a kid, but now as an adult I can say that it's a masterpiece

Ont he contrary my good man. I am simply displaying that despite my lack of experience and youth that even I have better taste than OP, and have less risible takes.
        >You're weak. have a nice day.

            >You don't know what you're talking about, do you
I am simply stating that the probability of Avatar being superior to both actual adult animation and anime, a medium with a near 60 year old history spanning far more diverse genres and tones than Western animation during that time frame is simply preposterous.
            >Yeah, you do sound like an unreliable piece of shit who's so incompetent that he browses a shitposting forum when he should focus on his work.
I am a proud practitioner of the Peter Principle. I have worked hard and well to reach a strong financial and strategic position at a young age and have plateaued for the moment. With more experience and competence, I can graduate from my current state. But for now I have no incentive to do so, and so I spend my time here.

You're not really basing that off of any sort of actual ground rather than your own personal prejudice without having seen it to have proper judgment. At least see it before you decide it's shit. Until then all you've got is your own unfounded assumptions.

                >At least see it before you decide it's shit
I am not saying it is a bad series by any stretch of the imagination. If anything it is a series that has always interested me and I have heard nothing but good things about, especially from the fellows at Cinemaphile.
                >Until then all you've got is your own unfounded assumptions.
Indeed, but being the busy man that I am I have too much on my plate as is to watch a young man's animated Nickelodeon series. Currently, I fancy The Americans, brilliant series.

                >It merely means that I have the luxury at a young age to work and have a life outside of work even when I'm working.

                >I'm a neet living in my parents basement and I don't actually have a job

Perhaps it is you basing your opinions off of personal prejudice and bigotry without ever having met me. I don't know who you are and you don't know who I am, so let's refrain from getting so inquisitve.

It implies that OP's take of Avatar being, and I quote, "better than like all adults cartoons and 99% of all anime" if serious, is very silly. It is not a statement on the quality of the show but rather one on the taste of OP. If I or another man here were to say something similar about some of my favorites I likely would not be laughed out of the room.

    Secret tunnel!

It’s heart warming in exploring a child’s naivete in the middle of a world war and a genocide. It touches on adult topics, and the challenges teens go through on their way to being adults in a realistic manner.

Plus the humor is easy to grasp with out undermining the lessons and growth the characters endure through the series.

Bad show, obnoxious characters with obnoxious VAs, lame 4 element setting with ugly cultures and clothes, feminist garbage, it's not even morally or politically serious.

    >grows up in a society where all men are conscripted for the endless war with the fire nation
    >they lose
    >fire nation arrests all adult men
    >at age 12 he's now the oldest male in his entire
village with no older men to look up to as a role model
    >as a result, has a childish understanding of what it means to be a man and how gender roles work
    >over the season learns what it means to be a man and that not all women, especially those with magical powers, need to be at home in the kitchen

Why was this story arc so problematic that they had to cut it from the show? It's a relatively progressive message, even.

Watched it recently, I thought it was gay baby shit when it came out and didn't watch it, but that was right around the time I wanted to be more grown up and shit so not a fair assessment. I can now say it's probably the best kids show ever made and still pretty damn good for an adult. Loved balance and subjective morality as themes, weren't always handled perfectly but pretty good overall. Also Aang growing up from a lil shit to a real homie was cool. Could live without the schoolyard crush shit but I'm watching Korra now and it's way fricking worse in that show. They nailed the ending. Appa is the best character. Azula is a giant c**t, Zuko got less c**ty genes but they're replaced by moody lil b***h ones (still liked him by the end). The live action will be shit.

It's not. It has a few really good episodes but it's godawful kiddy shit for the most part that only a dumb marvel-brained american would like. Imagine the shitty dialogue and jokes being translated to a different language, it's even less funny than japanese pun to english translations. Then to top it all off you have the moronic energy bending turtle ending.
