Its kinda similar to Nick Mullen. After Stav left cumtown Nick seems to have become a nicer guy. When Ben Avery left TDS, Tim definitely mellowed out a bit. I remember the days he was basically yelling at God with Ben nervously laughing
I lost all "respect" for him when I heard how much of a slob he was even when staying in the homes of his friends and colleagues and not just ruining the homes of air b&b hosts. And by respect I mean the ability to take anything he says at face value and allow myself to laugh at his rants. All I can think about is him clogging two of whitney cummings simultaneously and hiding cigarette butts all over doug stanhopes house.
Every single joke he makes is tainted with >but he's a disgusting fat slob so does he really have any room to laugh?
I just can't take this homosexual seriously and I haven't listened to him in years.
I laughed when he was ranting about the lesbians. But when I found out he was treating his actual friends homes in the same exact way I realized he's scum.

This. People are judging Tim Dillon's comedy based on him being as butthole. Of course he's an butthole he's openly admits to it.

Not an argument. I accept your concession thoughever.
His standup is mediocre. He is an arrogant and annoying host. He is fine as an occasional guest and every so often he strikes upon a funny idea, but then he beats it to death.
I don't care about Ben or whatever happened between them, but the podcast where he confronted Ben about making an edgy joke on instagram showed Tim for all that he actually is. A fricking loser.
i unironically think this was ben's fault. it was just a joke and if ben went "aw shucks" and laughed when tim accused him. tim kept at it too hard sure but i think it started as a joke and only escalated because ben got defensive
I doubt it. Repeating the same thing 500 times a slightly different way and not letting it go is something Tim does constantly because he used to be a crackhead. It's something all ex-crackheads do.
yeah exactly, it's how he talks about everything when he's joking/ranting. he's done it to ben many times but this is the first time he got hurt instead of laughing it off

It is Tim's actual personality. Ben now has his own show and it turns out he is a fricking weirdo and was the source of all the obscure internet shit Tim talked about for a while. It's basically cum town lite.

He's like Bill Hicks in the sense that his comedy is mostly in rant form and that was great when he was still struggling to some degree and not rich. I see people say this all the time here but I've never found Nick R that funny. Seems like a good idea guy or writer but just talking on a podcast or something like that he's just ok IMO
the people that still watch the shit are like 14 and screaming randomly is still very funny to teenagers, which is all that rochefurt does. it's so excessive its predictable if he speaks for more than 30 seconds he will start screaming nonsense
I don't think he's drop dead hilarious or anything I just think he's funny to listen to sometimes, especially when he talks shit about houses (I used to be in real estate so I love that shit). But yeah he's not extraordinary just a funny guy.
Was never funny
Its fricking hilarious how easy is to become popular with the "Cinemaphile crowd", by just being sliiiiightly edgy and a lot of morons on here eat this shit up
More than anything it speaks to the contempt most people hold in their hearts for preening "woke" hypocrites advocating by way of aggravating.
Say Black person or homosexual once in a while, and people could not give a frick about whether you're left, right, up or down. I don't think that's such a bad thing.
he quit smoking cigarettes and within a month he'd ruined things with ben. i have no idea why he never put 2 and 2 together himself and realised that this happened, and i've never seen anyone else mention it, but literally, he announced he hadn't smoked for a while then boom.
People always say Tim has fallen off and he’s not as consistently funny but he’s still pretty good and extremely successful, he’s in Joker 2 and makes a shitload from Patreon and touring
Kind of. I'd say Tim is more consistent, but when TAFS is good it's really good. In fact I'd say TAFS the interview show is pretty solid so far. I'd take that over Dillon.
Lemonparty is funny but Jace is a big sad sack homosexual who loves therapy and acting like a big pussy hound when we all know he’s a fat slob that probably fricks wildebeest fat girls
I tried to watch that show once but I was so overcome with cringe when that fat frick was talking about having a 3-some with 2 girls or something. There's not way that fricking loser is fricking anyone.
i like legion of bawds but i understand when people dont like it
mostly i like when they all do Luis voice, but for that to be funny you'd need to have known them from listening to the show.
also the edgy clips analysis segments usually suck (especially when big jays idea), but when big jay starts getting a character to riff on from them its pretty great too
MSSP is still good but I'm not really a fan of the constant guest episodes. Wish they had War Mode on more often, those are always great
TAFS is shit, haven't listened in months. The podcast desperately needs a third mic, preferably someone with just a little bit of energy since Nick and Adam always sound completely dead and miserable (miserable in an "i'm too tired to do this" kind of way, not the flavor of miserable that made early cumtown good)
Tim Dillon show is still alright, but like MSSP it suffers from too many guest episodes that are almost always shit
haven't listened to Red Bar, but I might give it a shot. It seems to get aggressively shilled here but I'm ok with that since aggressive shilling on Cinemaphile is how I've found most of the podcasts I like
TAFS definitely appeals to a niche audience imo. I will admit it started out rough though. They didn't really know what they were doing but now they realize that what they are good at is fricking with guests and making them feel uncomfortable or vibing with them and having a great interview.
Idk why you said they seem miserable, this is honestly the happiest Nick has seemed in a long time. Same with Adam.
>I will admit it started out rough though.
I think it was arguably better at the beginning when they'd frick around with monologues and stuff compared to the current state of the podcast. and yeah maybe miserable is the wrong word, but they seem low energy at least
I only checked out Redbar for the first time recently. It's okay, but it's inconsistent.
I've talked about this on Cinemaphile before, but and I'll talk about it here. People like Redbar, like Nick Mullen, like Sam Hyde, they cultivate a cult of personality that insulates them from certain criticism. They basically get to make a living moralizing and criticizing others, but when they're criticized or their takes fall short the criticisms are absorbed by a facade of detachment and irony.
These audiences see these people as geniuses, and so they're primed to assign more intent to their actions than actually exists. When Sam Hyde bombs or says something stupid, he did it on purpose because it's an extension of the aesthetic mode he's cultivating. It's all "meta" and brand new and forward-thinking, the audience is the act! Same goes for Mullen, he's not a narcissistic black-hole with transparent insecurity issues, he's tanking his show on purpose as a commentary on the nature of "fandom" as it relates to some Marxist bullshit or some nonsense...
These people rest too much of their laurels on broad, bland critiques of consumerism when the fact of the matter is they're either funny, or they're not. When it comes to Hyde I really don't think he's that funny at all.
Redbar is unique, but not that different. He has a similar cult following, and he will knowingly exaggerate stories for comedic effect, to the delight of his audience who join in. However, this is also used as an escape-hatch whenever he faces criticism for spreading a bad take that he gets proven wrong on. This is particularly egregious with Redbar because he lives or dies off the back of his pointed critiques of other comedians, and when they fall flat he becomes unbearable to sit through.
Thank you for reading my blog.
Like I say in this post here, the fanbase assigns intent to people that isn't there for the sake of maintaining the integrity of their comedic icons. You shit on Nick for being lazy or annoying, the fanbase will respond with "you're taking things too seriously bro" or "it's part of the bit, you don't get it".
I honestly don't understand how more people don't see how fricking annoying Nick is. He's really, really funny and I'll admit that, funnier than just about anyone else when he's on a roll. But that doesn't mean he isn't an exhausting, narcissistic mope.
Go to bed Stav, haven't you sucked Rogan's dick long enough?
That man went from calling Joe Rogan stupid and racist to cackling that a moronic baby on his show in the matter of a few years. Frick that guy.

I love how people bring up Stav selling out as if Cumtown wasn't one massive sellout, but because Nick talks about capitalist realism from time to time people think he's emblematic of conspicuous consumption/late stage capitalism or some other homosexual shit.
It's like once Stav left the cool kids club his fart jokes weren't good enough anymore. Fart jokes are only cool when Nick does them. It's like watching high schoolers argue about when Metallica sold out. As Nick would say: "who gives a shit?"

I don't care if someone is a sellout, what I don't like it when someones a b***h and Stav was a b***h. He wanted to be mainstream and he kept getting triggered by Nick's autism. Stav also wanted to get richer, get more pussy, get some netflix specials, etc. They dangled keys in front of his face and since Stav is the definition of a slovenly simpleton he grabbed them despite doing perfectly fine in Cumtown.
It doesn't matter what justification anyone has for this or what Nick would say, Stav made a b***h move. Plain and simple.

>as if Cumtown wasn't one massive sellout
"If you ever have the opportunity to sell out and you don't take it you're the biggest fricking moron who ever lived" ~ Nick Mullen
I disagree. I think its far improved but its all about taste. The low energy part is because Nick stopped doing cocaine as much lol. I remember early episodes of CT where they were just like "hey pass that coke over here *sniff* okay anyway how about the N word?"
They're trying to be more professional now. Considering how high profile some of their guests are they are basically become a legit show.
I only checked out Redbar for the first time recently. It's okay, but it's inconsistent.

MSSP is still great, Tim can still be funny but not as consistent, he needs Kump as a permanent cohost
MSSP is a little overrated imo. I think Shane is trying to balance staying woke enough for the "in" crowd but edgy enough for his fanbase. You can tell he's still extremely salty about SNL and it seems to me he wants another chance.
Never heard of Redbar but I love cumtown/TAFS a lot. I personally love it when Nick is being difficult. When they had Steve-O and basically showed the world that he's boring and unfunny it was probably one of the best interviews ever.
TAFS is probably one of the best shows out there if you're a fan of that type of comedy.
I wouldn't say Shane is being "woke" for the in crowd so much as he's just reigning in the edginess, especially since they've got sponsors and famous friends and shit now. They're still edgy all the time for a podcast of their size, just nowhere near as wild as the old days. I'm kind of surprised they haven't gotten hit for making fun of gays since they do that all the time still and I'd think they would be a more protected class than the chinee who Shane got taken down over
True. I shouldn't say "woke" because Shane is anything but, but you can tell when he says something he knows the "in" crowd wants to hear. But it doesn't surprise me that his edginess is allowed without him being cancelled. Everyone, especially actors/comedians are sick of woke shit and are being to learn that pandering to blue hairs isn't good for business.
He didn't even yell at and fire Ben because their sponsor was some notable company or anything. It was just some Instagram douche paying Tim to plug his own shit. Ben rightfully shit on him and Tim became a fat homosexual over it.
podcast isn't the same without ben tbh. it's gotten better recently, the ones in the few months after ben left were fricking terrible, but he's still nowhere near that peak. lemonparty sucks and ben isn't funny, tim was just funnier with ben to bounce off of
Nothing was ever right
It's just the same democrat algorithms that pushed corporate approved "edge" like Tim Dillon, Mark Normand, israelite Mullen, Theo Von,, etc on you is now pushing Shane Gillis
His time is almost over so expect a new flavor of the year soon
Quinn is incredibly overrated. Relistening to episodes of O&A it's fricking embarrassing how they would fawn over him like he was some troubled genius or something.
>him and Ray Kump arguing with that fitness guy while weighing a combined 800 pounds >driving around Long Island and ranting about how moronic Long Islanders are >talking about his office wagie days >screaming about Epstein and 9/11 >going on weird tirades that revealed that he was basically a pedo who wanted to bang rich private school kids in NYC
Not losing weight?
Did something go wrong?
What am I missing here?
My guess is he's complaining about that homosexual Ben Avery. That man left on his own accord because he couldn't handle the bantz
Nothing he's still doing great. He's a goddamn movie star after all.
we know you visit Cinemaphile, Tim
Shut the frick up and watch Thanksgiving
Audience doesn't mind that he's gay but when he starts to talk about it too much it turns them off.

I miss when he was angrier. Getting successful took his edge off. He's my Rush Limbaugh, though. I hope he moved to Mara Lago

The Dawgs just had him on the podcast. It was enjoyable.
People always say Tim has fallen off and he’s not as consistently funny but he’s still pretty good and extremely successful, he’s in Joker 2 and makes a shitload from Patreon and touring
Northern Ireland is not free
Tim is still funny. You queens listen to podcasts too much and get bored, decide they’re “over” and gossip on here like a sewing circle.
Agreed. These boards gas these guys up then get bored and move onto the new thing
What else are we supposed to do? Watch the same thing forever?
I spent nearly seven years relistening to shit like O&A and The Ricky Gervais Show. Everything gets old after a while, even great stuff.
Tim Dillon just isn't that interesting, isn't that great. If people like Nick Mullen can fall off, Tim Dillon sure as frick can.
Tim still isn’t that bad. He’s way better than TAFS is now
Kind of. I'd say Tim is more consistent, but when TAFS is good it's really good. In fact I'd say TAFS the interview show is pretty solid so far. I'd take that over Dillon.
The interviews for TAFS are fricking great, but the actual podcast is unwatchable garbage.
I saw him on tour recently, his new hour is leagues funnier than his Netflix special. He seems to have focused more on his act.
Where are we at when it comes to approved comedy casts?
MSSP
Maybe TAFS when Nick isn't throwing a tantrum
Redbar
I can't think of anything else worth checking in on semi-consistently.
MSSP is still great, Tim can still be funny but not as consistent, he needs Kump as a permanent cohost
I like Lemon Party. It's diet Cumtown but it's still way better than TAFS.
Lemonparty is funny but Jace is a big sad sack homosexual who loves therapy and acting like a big pussy hound when we all know he’s a fat slob that probably fricks wildebeest fat girls
heh is this jace meta posting? they clearly come to Cinemaphile
Jace sucks. He shut down Devan making fun of town heads last week
I tried to watch that show once but I was so overcome with cringe when that fat frick was talking about having a 3-some with 2 girls or something. There's not way that fricking loser is fricking anyone.
>Redbar
the only acceptable answer
i like legion of bawds but i understand when people dont like it
mostly i like when they all do Luis voice, but for that to be funny you'd need to have known them from listening to the show.
also the edgy clips analysis segments usually suck (especially when big jays idea), but when big jay starts getting a character to riff on from them its pretty great too
MSSP is still good but I'm not really a fan of the constant guest episodes.
I think it was arguably better at the beginning when they'd frick around with monologues and stuff compared to the current state of the podcast. and yeah maybe miserable is the wrong word, but they seem low energy at least
>podcasts
SODER MARRIED MY GIRL KATIE NOLAN
I love them both.
It's Nick. Nick is the problem.
I suppose you could pay me to sit in a room with Nick for five years listening to the same jokes over and over. But then I'd have to be a israelite like Adam.
Considering how long they've known each other Adams already been doing it for free lol
>as if Cumtown wasn't one massive sellout
"If you ever have the opportunity to sell out and you don't take it you're the biggest fricking moron who ever lived" ~ Nick Mullen
I disagree. I think its far improved but its all about taste. The low energy part is because Nick stopped doing cocaine as much lol. I remember early episodes of CT where they were just like "hey pass that coke over here *sniff* okay anyway how about the N word?"
They're trying to be more professional now. Considering how high profile some of their guests are they are basically become a legit show.
I only checked out Redbar for the first time recently. It's okay, but it's inconsistent.
He was recently on MSSP, bragging about hosting gay Hollywood thanksgiving, he had caitlin jenner and her trans MAGA gf attend,
He didn't even yell at and fire Ben because their sponsor was some notable company or anything. It was just some Instagram douche paying Tim to plug his own shit. Ben rightfully shit on him and Tim became a fat homosexual over it.
I miss the early era of cumtown.
Jace, I love your bits, but you're a fat frick who needs to get into lifting. Frick golf.
podcast isn't the same without ben tbh. it's gotten better recently, the ones in the few months after ben left were fricking terrible, but he's still nowhere near that peak. lemonparty sucks and ben isn't funny, tim was just funnier with ben to bounce off of
Niigata ya lost me.
Official anti NATO? MOVE THE FRICK OUTTA MY COUNTRY U TUB A LARD
I GOT KILLERS IN.POLAND REGARDLESS
Hamasaki. Lol you showed favotism to a side.
You not Jesus. Jesus loves you. Crush those Fulkerson with love
Way high btw.
Carl Anderson as Judas
Big hoss
TEMPLE OÑ. MOUNT
I don't want it enough.
4 real. BOBBY Kelly is the least funny comic hrsi4ak4sk5dl5d. HELL
Patrice & Quinn. GERALDO. Hell, even Ross n Robinson were funny. NEVER BOBBY. BEVER ONCE
Quinn is incredibly overrated. Relistening to episodes of O&A it's fricking embarrassing how they would fawn over him like he was some troubled genius or something.
Same thing with Dave Attell
This guy blew compressed air up my urethra in 1998.
He's only funny in other people's podcasts.
pre-Benghazi Tim Dillon Show was pure kino
>him and Ray Kump arguing with that fitness guy while weighing a combined 800 pounds
>driving around Long Island and ranting about how moronic Long Islanders are
>talking about his office wagie days
>screaming about Epstein and 9/11
>going on weird tirades that revealed that he was basically a pedo who wanted to bang rich private school kids in NYC
A fat milo yambopolis
He was better when he was poor working at gas digital, the real what went wrong is pic related
what did go wrong, haven't listened in a while
I'm glad spud is getting healthy but the lifting talk is just dull
Ben left and made a better show.
