Sexist chuds convinced the women in America and China to not go see it. You know how israelites have the Sheeni curse and they can use it to lower your credit score? Well chuds have their own spell and it makes women not buy tickets to movies, that's why it's your fault.
The hate for her originated from one particular group of people on Youtube who relentlessly mocked her. She never said she hated white men but these particular white males took her words the wrong way..
Her words were not complicated and not misunderstood. Her character was not likable and frequently (and pointlessly) misandrist. CM 1 was a blatant cash grab that did not add to the endgame storyline, and viewers are rightly avoiding it. Neither the director nor the biggest star has any particular enthusiasm for CM2, the plot seems better suited for the teen girl tv marketx. Nothing went wrong, they just decided to make a movie no wanted.
Lots of people got conned into seeing a boring ass movie set between and connected to the two largest movies literally in human history. They could've made an Avatar spinoff starring the unobtainium guy in 2010 and a similar thing would've happened. But trying again 6 years later in 2016 wouldn't have worked.
Studios are just pretending 2020 never happened and that they can assume movies are going to do the same box office numbers they did in 2019. Until they realize this is a mistaken premise (and budget accordingly) they will continue to release bombs and hemorrhage money.
(1/2) Superhero fatigue. Westerns and musicals had their run decades ago and faded away as well. Marvel is now scraping the bottom of the barrel with characters like Captain Marvel, even as a man the character was another failed attempt by Marvel to copy Superman, and by making her a woman it's an obvious corporate ploy to copy Wonder Woman as well. Also the movies are falling into the same trap as the comics, carrying on too long and trying to pressure viewers into watching past titles and other titles to make sense of the crossovers, another corporate ploy.
(2/2) Anti-woke warriors will try to claim this as a cultural victory, but the truth is woke CAN sell, particularly feminism, or at least femininity, as seen with Barbie. Also seen about a decade ago with movies like Alice in Wonderland, Twilight, Hunger Games, and the Star Wars sequels, while several boy-oriented titles flopped or were underwhelming, such as John Carter, Jonah Hex, and Tron 2. My theory is companies are catering to women not because of ideology, but because women are less likely to pirate movies.
They spent $274.8 million budget on a mid movie with niche appeal. Had it been a $70 million movie it would have been fine. Movie looks like absolute shit for that kind of budget. Disney spends money like a bunch of morons.
Nothing. This is about the level all female action films do when they aren't being artificially propped up by two of the most hyped up films of all time.
You keep posting these threads Disney, but you don't like the true answers you keep getting, so we can't help you. Sorry. You get what you FRICKING DESERVE!!
man...I saw the movie and I was actually kinda looking forward to the end. Not because I wanted it to finish, but to at least see one cool fight scene.
They are able to switch places when they activate. SO, I thought they were gonna do this really cool maybe one shot type scene where they just beat down the baddie by constantly switching back and forth smoothly. Kinda like that clapping fight in Jujutsu. But it wasn't, and was even more disappointed....
Whole thing felt uninspired. I went in with a generous mindset of trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, too. But it was hard to care about any of it. Fair amount of 'woke' rhetoric didn't help. I'm still not sure if I hated it or not. Definitely didn't like it.
Go on
Im not, nor have I ever been, a foot gay but even I can tell that this b***h got some nasty oger pedals
Disgusting.
She's ugly and has no acting talent or charisma.
Pretty self-explanatory no matter what approach you take.
What do you mean?
What do you mean
People don't like Danvers and it's not like Marvel tried hard to make people care about her.
It's not Marvel's fault that Brie is so unlikable.
Incorrect AND offensive.
Brieanne is a delight and a cute.
A CUTE!
we must encourage her smile and protect it anons.
Shut the frick up homosexual. Also yikes those wrinkles look like they hurt.
Cringe
nig, poo, nig, nig, bigfoot
It needed more X-Men cameos. I loved the movie but Marvel really needs the X-Men.

My money is mine, you can't have it. Seethe harder.
Better question - what went right?
brie is box office poison
thr first Captain Marvel made over a Billion. Lot's of people liked her until they let themselves be brainwashed.
Fake box office fabricated by disney mostly buying tickets to its own movie.
Nobody saw it. Nobody liked it.

We know about the bought tickets Iger, quit trying to hide it.
>What went wrong?
The movie wasn't about based Genis showing up and taking back the name that's rightfully his.
People can buy aliens and multiverse stuff but a Muslim hero is just too unrealistic

No BBC for Brie
>What went wrong?
It was a fun and short enjoyable romp that chuds gangstalked and raided RT to downvote based on delusional woke politics.
More importantly it will be an unquestionable and immediate hit on streaming. Their bots can’t skew views.
More importantly Brie was delightful and showed class throughout this ordeal. An absolute cute.
ABSOLUTE CUTE!
I can’t wait for Capt. Marvel 3 where she carries the kino with her acting talent and natural charisma and saved the MCU! (squeee!)
holy frick based.
This anon gets it. Definitely insider talking to Feige.

Pretty accurate. From "The Decline" I'd say Coco was the best, and from "The Decomposing Corpse" I'd say Onward was the best.

The poster makes it look like she has tiny little legs which scared away millions of customers.
