Season 1 was okay and scratched an itch in the dying fandom. Seeing the positive response after 2 "failed" movies, every executive wanted to add their mark to the series to help their own careers.
>End of season 2 : Yeed went with Luke to train, after a sad goodbye >Start of S3 : Yees is back, without any questions >It became the Bo-Katan Show >Mando is barely a third class character in his own series
it became the ballad of bo katan because we can't just have a western set in the star wars universe under katherine 'the force is female' kennedy's reign of terror
But anons, "The Mandalorian" was always Bo Katan, and never Din ;*~~))
Season 1 was competent and the sheer lack of even mediocre Disney Star Wars content meant that the company seized on it to shove all their moronic ideas and ideology into it hoping that for some reason the popularity of Mandalorian would somehow make people blind to the absolutely shit way Disney handles the rest of the franchise. It didn't.
Kathleen couldn't accept that S2 featured Luke as a positive, wise and powerful character.
She was fuming over it.
So she had to ruin S3.
Because if nobody like her SW products, then nothing must be liked.
it became the ballad of bo katan because we can't just have a western set in the star wars universe under katherine 'the force is female' kennedy's reign of terror
This unfortunately. There were several discernible story arcs -- Mando eventually becoming *the* Mandalorian, Grogu becoming a wise Jedi, Gina getting her own Rangers of the Republic show -- and each was carefully crafted and woven in with the others. Then KK said so, you have to keep the cute babby and the totally destroyed droid because people just LOVE it and space israelites assassinated Carasynthia Dune and even the guy who wrote the original electrifying non-orchestral space-Western soundtrack left, and now Favreau is giving interviews where he admits they don't have a game plan and are just kind of half-assing things and now Mando has been reduced to being a supporting character on his own fricking show with the original actor doing voice-overs for his stunt double. The End.
>Bobs Fett >Boba Fett is relegated to a side character in his own show and upstaged by The Mandalorian >The Mandalorian >The Mandalorian is relegated to a side character in his own show and upstaged by Bo Katan >The Ballad of Bo Katan >Bo Katan is relegated to a side character in her own show and upstaged by ______?
>Boba Fett is relegated to a side character in his own show and upstaged by The Mandalorian
I can't for the life of me understand how much Boba Fett was fricked up. Have a bad ass guy trying to rule a criminal empire with honour fighting against ruthless enemies.
Instead they nerfed Boba and made him an idiot so he would waddle around for a few episodes getting it wrong all the time in an effort to artificially build up some tension.
Writer's can't seem to write for bad ass characters because that would involve coming up with decent villains and storylines.
this is the failure of modern storytelling. they just can't end anything, and they can't do tragic >homeland s1, perfect right til the end where it should have ended with ginger akbaring. nope, show goes on >avengers endgame, Thanos victory is actually perfect ending and unexpected for marvel. nope show goes on >dark knight, should have ended with boats exploding and batman crushed by his hubris, would have been the best american film in 30 years. nope, show goes on
these screenwriters need to read some shakespeare, tragedy is the highest form of drama and it is good in many cases to end the story at the height of the tragic arc
Filoni promoting his ongoing Mandalorian arcs from the cartoons diluting the show and what people enjoyed about it.
>Man with no name style hero travelling the galaxy with foster son creature. >Baby Yoda too popular so we can't fully get rid of him. >Let us stop having one and done adventures because we need full on arcs talking about cartoon shit again.
I enjoyed episodes like the prison break one or the one where he defended the village from bandits far more than all the big return to Mandalore stuff.

All new stuff is subverted by cartoon connections, franchise building or diversity issues. >Movies, shows, games, books, comics, toys are all generally shit.
It started out as mediocre, occasionally shit.
Then it became worse, saved only by a fanservice Luke Skywalker cameo.
Then it put 2 episodes of its third season in a separate show. Then it's 3rd season, while even worse, was barely even about Mando.
Just a constant stream of mismanagement and shit
Nothing, audiences love it
No hottie.
Gina Carano
Only Rebel who wasn't fake.
basado
my wife literally saved ashoka singlehandedly
that pose is terrible lmao, nothing about it suggests flight.
Season 1 was okay and scratched an itch in the dying fandom. Seeing the positive response after 2 "failed" movies, every executive wanted to add their mark to the series to help their own careers.
I watched 30 minutes of the first episode and thought it was terrible. Slop Wars fans genuinely have no taste
Nothing, it's kino. Looking forward to the movie.
>What went wrong?
grogu didn't age, and the show went nowhere because of it
He's supposed to be 50 years old when the mandalorian first finds him... he wouldn't age that much.
many animals have a short adolescence, and then live a long life. They could have made Yodas species like that

Kennedy not letting Luke keep Grogu.
Giving Boba Fett his own boring show.

It should have ended when Luke takes Grogu.
This, the story was done and I liked it. But then it kept going.

Same problem most MCU movies have as well.
Really weird problem to have since it's so avoidable.

Ahsoka? Sabine? Some other moron from Filoni's wankbank?

they turned it from a standalone Star Wars story to a cameo of the week series
Executive meddling.
Reminder all nu wars is homosexual shit

It became popular and therefore it got hijacked by the woke agenda. More women, more diversity etc.

tl;dr disney is shit
