Everything went to shit as soon as they got to the farm. Anything else is just revisionist history or people who are in denial because they actually watched it for 10 more seasons.
This
it had the most complete arch of any season and Darabont had it all out lined before he left or was fired
except for the military stuff he wanted to include that AMC caned I think he shot some scenes with the helicopter that they left in but didn’t go anywhere
no it wasn't
there's actual evidence of this because the show was airing in 2012 so threads are still in the archives
everyone universally trashing season 2 and making fun of it
>Everything went to shit as soon as they got to the farm. Anything else is just revisionist history or people who are in denial because they actually watched it for 10 more seasons.
fair and I watched it to thev end and fear and the spin offs
the first three seasons of twd, fear, the daryl dixon spin off and the rick bridge death scene are worth a watch. skip the rest
What killed TWD? Honestly SJW and lack of talent, shoehorned deaf people, gays, people in wheelchairs etc absolute shit
its cope bc they wasted so much fricking time waiting for this shit back then. i didnt care for it for years then a couple of years ago i sat down and watched til the farm and thats when i quit. i wasnt attache d for years and years so idgaf
For me it's the fight with Negan. Those guys killed easily hundreds of them and they kept coming, how did they survive on tributes from the communities they extorted while they outnumber them like 10 to 1...?
>Kills Carl for a random paki >They kill the paki in the next season
It feels like the only purpose of the paki was the weird cuckolding relationship of him, rosita, gabriel and eugene
the seasons were way too long so it was just full of filler bullshit. they also killed off fan favorite characters and replaced them with terrible characters
Negan
It just didn't work on screen and with the overall tone of the show. It's a lot of little things on top of that but it would've gone downhill even with the best writers at that point
The real answer is the horrible fricking way the episodes and story was written, I think back then it was nicknamed the "Boomerang" style.
You know where each episode was focused on different group of people but the next episode is like happened the same time as the previous but now we watching a different group and it ends in a cliffhanger? Well though luck you find out next week but 4-5 weeks from now on.
I still remember the fricking Gleen Fakeout clusterfrick that really pissed everyone off and basically killed the viewer numbers
Too maby episodes and trying to add more insane villains or such. Negan was fine but then they just added more villains trying to be edgy
Honestly I understand why some people would become a little fricked up but if you had billions of zombies and you were outnumbered 1:100000 or so Im sure even the most edgy frickers would be a little more kind
?? Carl’s actor was pretty upset they decided to kill him off, he’d just entered into a mortgage on a house in Georgia, they screwed him over. Carl was the whole reason Rick had to live, it made no sense to kill Carl except for shock value.
Shane died
Michonne
and killing off Andrea

Season 2 was kino

Farm fumers are low iq
It got so bad later that the farm looks gud by comparison
its cope bc they wasted so much fricking time waiting for this shit back then. i didnt care for it for years then a couple of years ago i sat down and watched til the farm and thats when i quit. i wasnt attache d for years and years so idgaf
firing frank darabont
doubling the amount of episodes
cutting the budget in half despite having twice as many episodes
splitting seasons in half
Frank Darabont leaving
AMC was fricking moronic
The source material wasn't conductive to becoming a good show. It went on for too long as well, with the same thing happening every time
They milked it for all it was worth while keeping coasts as low as possible
If they would have ended it at season 5 it would have been remembered fondly.
For me it's the fight with Negan. Those guys killed easily hundreds of them and they kept coming, how did they survive on tributes from the communities they extorted while they outnumber them like 10 to 1...?
I only watched season 1/2 and when glen died but I always wanted to go back and at least see how they dealt with negan.
I stopped watching when Beth died in some stupid episode and then the next episode the guy she died saving died
>Kills Carl for a random paki
>They kill the paki in the next season
It feels like the only purpose of the paki was the weird cuckolding relationship of him, rosita, gabriel and eugene
that's all the last few seasons.
stupid decision after stupid decision.
rip Beth, best girl
the corny right wing, tradcon middle america bullshit values. absolutely no depth to any characters.
Yeah frick values. You're kicking ass without them being a grown man who lives with his mom lmao
the seasons were way too long so it was just full of filler bullshit. they also killed off fan favorite characters and replaced them with terrible characters
woman producer
Negan

Greed
the whole entire series is only good in the first few episodes
Stopped being at episode 2
Episode 1 is my favorite. I just love that scene when rick goes into the dark stairwell with a lighter and then exits the hospital.

I too watched that youtube video
Killed off shane

too long at the farm
governor
michonne
andrea
maggie
carol
there's more but i'm tired of this shit.
women & non-whites
Was it even explained why was CALR killed of fricking randomly? Did the actor just want to quit?
He wanted to go to college full time.
Lol I only watched the early simpsons once and a long time ago but I know exactly what he's yelling here.
?? Carl’s actor was pretty upset they decided to kill him off, he’d just entered into a mortgage on a house in Georgia, they screwed him over. Carl was the whole reason Rick had to live, it made no sense to kill Carl except for shock value.
zombies have to randomly pop up out of no where to be a threat.
Nothing.
Michonne figures out how to pacify zombies and use them to be invisible in hordes and she does not tell as many people as possible about this.
