It was just boring and the situations were so absurd and they always just get out of it so it felt pointless
jumps from one thing to another, no real point
I get that this is true of like almost every show but this one lampshaded it so poorly. They were one season away from having them blackmail the president and become geopolitical gods washing money on a planetary scale
maybe in season 6 they could blackmail different alien races and have UFOs following them around but it won't matter cause Marty will always pull it off.
The finale season was absolute bullshit >Oh I know who killed my son I'll go alone after her but I won't torture her and interrogate her to know HOW she got there and WHO helped her (WENDY)
Aside from the constant bullshit that I've probably forgotten >Marty never acknowledges the fact that Wendy is a PSYCHOPATH that belongs in a psychiatric ward >Cartel bosses walk around with no security
The main protagonist got KEKED by an obese 90 years old israelite wearing tracksuits and he stays with her, it was dead from the start, I just kept going.
A problem is that this show moves way too fast. This character shows up, falls in love with Julia, gets put into rehab, gets checked out of rehab, and then gets killed in the span of like half a season. It felt like he was there a week.
>The main protagonist got KEKED by an obese 90 years old israelite wearing tracksuits and he stays with her
Do they ever actually address this or is it just some background flavor? Like, does it come up in arguments, does she show contrition, do they actually make up? Or is it just something that happened and then they never mention it again?
I haven't, that's why i'm asking. Not does he find out, does the show tackle it in any meaningful way beyond him knowing and maybe being depressed for a bit?
well yeah the entire plot is based around Marty being a submissive little cuck for his masculine wife
he is clearly shown as depressed and emasculated, he can't even get hard anymore kek

Jesus. And the wife shows zero contrition or empathy for him?

Zero
Not even a bit of empathy, she's a psycho though she doesn't care about anything including her own family, she just want to win and become the first woman president
for me it was when the brother died, I don't remember the name
he made the show better, then when he died they forced us to watch for a whole episode Wendy crying in her car
I got tired of that b***h and her never dying, and apparently she's still alive at the end, shit show, feels like a shounen
the brother was fine at first but he became so obnoxious. Half the characters he marched up to to confront were the source of serious problems in the show, was stoked when his sorry ass got offed
>El Marty >I've heard Presidents are immune to indictment >Make me U.S. President >Uhhh... Yeahhh Mexicans can't become Presidents. Constitution is kinda clear on that, bud. >You have 60 minutes.
>Marty put your plans to make the cartel boss president on hold for now, we have bigger issues, the entire Chinese navy just showed up outside our boat casino, can you make a call to deal with this?
I wouldn't know, I gave up 15min after I realized there was nothing wring with my tv and the show actually had this obnoxious blue filter on at all times
People memed Matrix being green (though those were the sequels actually) but Ozarks is twice as blue as Matrix is green
They all needed to die except for Jonah so he could become a super chad and avenge his sister and father
Wendy needed to be melted in Gold in a 3 minute scene with her screaming
Then make a spinoff with Jonah as main protagonist because the rest are all shit and uninteresting
I skipped the majority of scenes with her talking to some random boomers politicians or crying about her problems
I just know she was a stripper prostitute who got passed around and then ended up with Marty the Great Cuck
i know a lot of people hated the ending but I was just happy to see a protagonist come out on top for once. The villains were the main letdown of the ladder half of the series cause they were so idiotic and got defeated randomly out of nowhere every time
Darlene's plot armor was thicker than walls of a fricking atomic shelter. Was the actress some producer's wife or something? I couldn't take this show seriously.
Dunno. I only watched the first season.
hot israeliteess
great, another chuddie thread

have you watched the show?
they literally frick while being recorded

Thank you for the rundown, anon.
The show ended here
>S01E01

>That's impossible...
>But you can make it possible cabron
>Uh... Y-yes I-I will
The entire show
>*Wendy takes phone*
>We'll do it in 30
I wouldn't know, I gave up 15min after I realized there was nothing wring with my tv and the show actually had this obnoxious blue filter on at all times

looks like shit without it
It looks normal
yes, my point exactly
>t.
it dudnt get any bluer
i stopped watching it after s1 because of this. the blue filter is completely absurd and i wonder if they did it as a joke
ehh its a bit excessive but it kinds works for Ozark
Ending needed four more episodes.
#teamjonah4life

Making Wendy the main character.
I skipped the majority of scenes with her talking to some random boomers politicians or crying about her problems
I just know she was a stripper prostitute who got passed around and then ended up with Marty the Great Cuck
Wait, Julia Garner is American?
yes ~~*American*~~
No one knows what she is anymore.
another victim of buccal fat removal?
too blue
i know a lot of people hated the ending but I was just happy to see a protagonist come out on top for once. The villains were the main letdown of the ladder half of the series cause they were so idiotic and got defeated randomly out of nowhere every time
See those red letters in the bottom corner? That.
Darlene's plot armor was thicker than walls of a fricking atomic shelter. Was the actress some producer's wife or something? I couldn't take this show seriously.
For the subject material and background it was intensely boring.
It was all down hill from episode 1.
That character.... just died in an unexpected way!!! wow i bet you didn't see that coming
