It also doesnt help how the only other characters in this show are the grossly annoying talking animal character and the grossly annoying talking alien character
Female MC means it's an automatic failure with boys and because she's isn't pretty princess, it means is also a failure with a girls, this show was made for no one
>Lets have a show about a girl who lives in a CA suburb who is friends with a talking animal and a talking alien
This premise is so done to death you swear AI is what pitched this show. It also doesnt help how Ruby's prime motivation is the most unrelatable zoomer shit ever which is to show she's more terminally online then the other terminally online girl who lives in the mansion next door to her tiny house
>Female MC means it's an automatic failure with boys
PPG exists, most boys actually watch shows with women in it if they are hot enough
I don't know why people never get that
>PPG exist >most boys actually watch shows with women in it if they are hot enough
Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust did a couple of shows with female protags that mostly males watched because the shows were good enough to get a fanbase.
>PPG exists
Glitch in the system and that's mostly because an action show >if they are hot enough
Which you cannot do reliably in the west because of feminism, the truth is no boy or men actually look ups to a female MCs which is why they tend to fail so much, the only way to make them care is to draw them hot or add some good violence and you can't do both nowadays, this is also why all those girl protagonist cartoons that Cinemaphile loves to spam only last 2-3 seasons at best, because they deep down know they're gonna fail
Very true. Shame, but it seems like Ruby's show is as over as can be. That it never even got a TV release is just kicking it while it was down. Nick didn't even give it a chance to get out there and maybe get some fans. I can't imagine how this must have felt for the crew and creator.
it was funny for the anti-influencer humor but otherwise it wasnt really that notable of a show... if you watched TGAMM you already watched a better "girl and monster" buddy comedy and even that was a nose dive
Just Nick making baffling business decisions as usual. The show's not bad, I can see how it might not be to everybody's tastes (or perhaps to modern tastes, it reminded me more of older, wackier shows from the late '90s-early '00s which was kinda nostalgic). The animation is surprisingly decent and has obviously had a lot of effort put into it, which only makes it more baffling as to why Nick would sink however much money they did into this and then just quietly dump it without any marketing.
Not enough focus on the mom.
Not enough focus on Tweenkle
She wasn't that hot.
Nah. she looks ugly.
She sure was quirky, and she sure was brown, but she just wasn’t gay enough.
It also doesnt help how the only other characters in this show are the grossly annoying talking animal character and the grossly annoying talking alien character
Not having all 25 Ep's that dropped be focused entirely on how much of a terrible person Tweenkle is
It was Nelvana shit
I might as well be watching Canadian TV

>SpongeBob
>but quirky mixed girl
It was made by the wrong network.
Its basically Nick's version of Molly McGee
Tweenkle is essentially Andrea but hideous
Nothing went wrong. It was a fine show. Just got screwed over by Nick being Nick and treating their shows terribly, again.
Zero chance this show gets a 2nd season especially since they're now culling content Zaslav style on their app

They should have leaned harder into how much of an antagonistic hate sink Tweenkle is
Most people never heard or cared about this show.

And even the Molly McGee was mid to terrible
I liked the cute israelites.
You just wanna frick Libby the way everyone on Cinemaphile wants to frick Andrea
