Get it? The joke is that RLM has been on YouTube for just over 13 years and they've had zero controversy. They haven't had any falling outs, they haven't lost any members, and they haven't resorted to shilling ads and sponsors, which is what almost every single YouTube channel is now. They don't start their videos with sponsors, they don't have ad/sponsor breaks throughout their videos, they don't pause their video review so they can shill their own products like space cop, they don't talk politics in any form, not on their social media, not in their videos, they just stay away from it all. You can be a BLM gay troony with pink hair and your weiner cut off or you could be a bitter angry incel chud virgin who hates everything except white people and you could both still both sit down and be entertained by RLM talking about star wars. That's the one of a kind charm these guys have. They have a classy YouTube channel, they have dignity, they know their worth, and they stand out among the rest. So when people make threads like this, remember, the joke is that RLM are saints.

Also, compare the criticism of Obi Wan by RLM to the criticism of Obi Wan by other reviewers like Cosmonaut, Moist Critical, or Full Fat. Not only too lazy to make movies, but too lazy to make comedy skits like RLM used to consistently do. Or to do a semi-amusing storyline for Half in the Bag. Or, even, to just watch a fricking Batman movie and give his moronic braindead non-review of it. Maybe it's not laziness, maybe it's some kind of lethargic dementia.

  43. 2 years ago

Ok, i've haven't asked anyone else this.
I wonder, am I the only one that separates so-bad-it's-good movies that still looks nice and the ones that don't?
Like the old ones where shot on film, and I think no matter your opinion on that, it's easier to make film look ok, while you need way more skill to do so with digital. The ones from the 80s wouldn't have that skill either, but it didn't matter because of film.
something like clash in the college or diamond fricking fox/cobra , looks like the piece of shit it is. while for instance early Neill Breen looks like a movie, which makes it more interesting.

when they bring these newer ones up it just feels like they're dug something up from the trash to talk it down. And I'm just like "is it the same to them"?
