So a Chinese-American, I'm assuming. I won't bother watching. They're so up their own asses and take on the worst characteristics of modern western animation.
Episodes took to long to release no doubt due to youtube fricking itself with the change of the algorithm, along with Fred seibert ceo of channel frederator accidentally leaking the whole season 2 early on his vimeo account he quickly deleted it but it was too late as people already downloaded it and released them onto torrent websites
Half the episodes boil down to stupid fricking references. “Look, Mario Kart. Look, Mario Galaxy! Look, it’s the Starship from Mario Galaxy! Smile and clap!”
Uh they went exclusive on some moronic streaming platform that I forgot the name of after the first couple episodes, and then any hope for it died immediately because of that.
Same thing with Bravest Warriors, Federator fricking screwed themselves in the wienerhole for both of them
This was a decade ago holy shit that makes me feel old
The episodes are dull, full of awkward dialogue, and raise more questions than they answer. The ending was really banking on a Season 3 it’ll probably never get.
It was the absolute worst thing it coulda been: fricking BORING. Also the "Bee is a cyborg/robot/whatever" came outta nowhere and is banking on a third season that's not coming.
Man, if only YouTube kept the money for the original channels programme, then this whole thing could've been much more successful. That stuff was like Cartoon Hangover's lifeblood, and their shows could still be hanging around or at least could have done much better if it wasn't for the money drying up.
I don't like this timeline, bros. I want a new one.
In the pilot Bee was an adult with a childish personality. She was dealing with adult problems like money, finding a job and loneliness. She was intelligent, self-aware, and occasionally sarcastic.
In the series Bee was a child in an adults body. Her life had no stress or responsibilities. She behaved like a naive carefree child.
Steven universe by Chinese people
Mainlanders, Canadian-Chinese, Chinese-Americans, or something like Hong Kong or Taiwan? This is important.
they're all the same - mongols

Stop being scared of China. They are just vibing.
The only god and motive is love.
Do all in the spirit of heaven for all.
We’re all in this together, super heroes!

Yeah, heh, Fred Seibert totally did that "Accidentally". It had nothing to do with Natasha taking potshots at his BFF, Butch.

Obnoxious heroine

The moronic platform was VRV.
Shifting cartoony solid color style to cutesy pastel color style

People b***h about Hartman wasting their pledged funds but this shit scammed just as many people and gets away scott free.
At least they have a finished product. Did Hartman ever even start his streaming service?
Probably not.

It was foreshadowed pretty heavily, with Bee's insistent hatred of water and the line "it's like your bones are made out of metal" when lifting her.
Overcooked. By the time it came out everyone stopped caring.
They made her obese

I like the green haired brown guy.
I thought it was annoying how certain characters would just talk about how they feel depressed, like frick off I don’t care
I think it was just the normalization of it instead of trying to be proactive
You care enough to bring it up.
The art style change and the long delay that cratered its chance at relevancy
