They cut out Sam and dropped the whole supernatural aspect of the game they were adapting
her breasts are too small and she’s not hot enough to be Laura
Yeah, they should have given her a boobjob and had her fight a horde of Oni.
Or just get a better actress that actually looks the part and then have her fight oni.

the modern tomb raiders were just copies of Uncharted which were just vidya version of Indiana Jones. So it was a copy of a copy of a copy.
Uncharted is just a rail shooter, nu tomb raider was more like a condensed far cry. But yes, with the absolute worst part of uncharted - the climbing

her giant chapped lips filled with dead skin were always distracting
Nu-lara is basically a horror movie scream queen in a boring setting with no risks, Old lara was a femme fatale
Alicia Vikander was cute

There was no supernatural element and the exploring / tomb raiding wasn’t as good as it could be. There was a lot of shooting and being prisoner on an island or a lot of lead up, and pretty much the meat of Tomb Raider wasn’t there. The formula is easy. It’s hot babe + traps + bad guys + monster lore. This movie had tons of bad guys and it’s too slow.
Laura's tanks used to be a pretty important draw of her appeal. Drop her in a tomb full of wild animals, traps, pitfalls and that's was all you really needed for success. I don't know how they fricked up that formula in all of her media

i dont think its difficult to make a good tomb raider movie yet here we are. somehow no one has done it properly yet. someone who knows what the frick theyre doing needs to do a fresh movie series. instead we're just getting some weird netflix cartoon
angelina jolie was a fantastic lara though
Well, the main protagonist was incredibly annoying and moronic. Not to mention they cut the cast from the game and went with a moronic "I'm strong and independent" backstory and that's something considering the game was written by Rhianna Pratchett, who apparently hated the games. Now, the game's plot was fine, why would they decide to chop it up like that is beyond my mind.

The biggest problem is that it was boring and forgettable and the actress didn't bring anything to the role
