I was a twentysomething when it aired in my country, in 1994. Got a vhs tape with aeon flux.
I knew, from the comics, who were Richard Sala and Charles Burns.
The Specialists
Bobby & Billy
Speedbump the Roadkill Possum
The Adventures of Thomas and Nardo
The forbidden secrets of the unknown and the forbidden
The Dangwoods Nightmare in Trailer City
>only two or three anons here are old enough to remember that show
Anyway: Aeon Flux, Stick Figure Theater, Invisible Hands, Winter Steele.
>> Stick Figure Theater
didn't that become the lighter and softer Stickin' Around?
finally found this skit after all these years
I believe so, yeah. Same creator.
And yeah, The Specialists was great, really enjoy the style of it.

Oh my god, I forgot about this. So good.
>"Do you have two pieces of identification?"
>"That's him alright!"
So good.

Those were the very simple drawn private group X-Files, right? I liked that, it was very reminding of pic related tabletop RPG.
Based Specialists appreciators.
Joe Horne’s other MTV works were also great.
You like Stevie and Zoya?

Also I like how there’s just this one dedicated autist who spends his time making all these fricking weird schizo fan shorts of these two.
> just this one dedicated autist who spends his time making all these fricking weird schizo fan shorts of these two.
I think you’re referring to the actual creator of Stevie and Zoya, Joe Horne.
Is he supposed to be the user aceconrad?
Best: Frog Baseball
Worst: Dog boy. Okay. We got it. You're gay and afraid of girls. Nobody cares.
I love Dogboy, the style is insane.
A gay guy likes kitschy 50's plastic style. Imagine my shock.
>person likes something I dislike
>call them gay
Typical Cinemaphile.
Anyway, I think season 2 on average has the strongest segments. Season 1's are hit and miss, which makes sense for a show like this.
To be fair you need a very high iq to understand Dog Boy.
I keep getting this confused with Cartoon Sushi.
Cartoon Sushi was basically a spiritual successor, so that makes sense.
Does anyone remember that short about Tom & Jerry lookalikes in a retirement home?
