>They love star trek >fans love star trek >their star trek content gets tons of views >getting their non star trek guy to dress up is funny
the real question is why do you care so much?
I think I saw a featurate for discovery that said something like that the TOS uniforms and the colored shirt design was added to make the entire organization look less like a military uniform and they made their uniforms be the first attempt to seem less like a military uniform. The solution, of course, makes no sense when you consider the jumpsuits don't look militaristic at all and the discovery ones definitely do.
It's probably because discovery didn't start off as a Star Trek project, I'm pretty sure. This had to be a spec script that was just adapted to fit into star trek, the fact they have like 4 crew members that break the canon as well as the entire mycelium network being a huge plot point that they eventually have to write out to keep continuity. Then you get season 4 and they do what they should have done from the beginning and set it at the end of continuity, it's all just fricking borked.
A lot of early TNG scripts were originally generic sci-fi scripts that someone at Paramount bought for cheap and pencilled in the Enterprise crew. And boy does it show.
No but then again Trek uniforms don't really have a real logic to them outside of TNG, DS9 and VOY where they were all being made as one specific time period by roughly the same people. When the TOS cast returned for the movies the uniforms were changed as well, often from movie to movie. The franchise wasn't really focused on lore consistency and world building at that point and Discovery is definetely one of those moments where they wanted to do something that felt retro and new at the same time.
the only really non-standard "utility work outfit" uniforms were the TOS movies and they were ranked up to the point of wearing formal dress uniforms 24/7
I like that they had two dozen attempt to make Jay get a single question right. The seething title card explaining Mike didn’t intentionally throw was the funniest part.

>Jay needs glasses
>Rich needs glassed
Mike when?
Mike has simply stopped reading
he's too drunk
mike has simply given up
but how else will he spend ten minutes making fun of imdb reviews?
>Rich needs glassed
They all need glassed
its called presbyopia, happens around 40.
I literally only watch their Star Trek videos (and Plinkett reviews if he still did them)
I for one would like to see more Trek trivia episodes
I so rarely see new entertaining content around the good Treks
that you are a homosexual
The bloodhound gang / Manson one was a huge hit so they made a similar one.
Honestly both were really funny
So has anybody managed to find the logic of this uniform in betwen ENT´s jumpsuits and TOS´s uniforms?
No
Looks like Mass Effect.

discovery stuff is so plasticky it looks like children tier halloween costume. embarassing costume department, along with everything else.

That explanation speaks volumes about STD´s production crew.

>defeats Mike at Star Wars trivia
This will begin the downfall of Stoklasa arc
Jay is cute.
I'm legitimately concerned he's going to transition.
Honestly I think he's simply too lazy to get a haircut
