This is more deceptively deep them anything a show that looks like it has a lot to offer bit ends up being shallow. Maybe a season 2 could make things better but right now this doesn't make it stand out from other woke trash
Cute, can anyone give me an actual answer instead of this /misc/lack who doesn't read comics but just hangs around here to voice his impotent anger over anything not straight, white, male, and christian?

The frick does woke mean. Why does everyone think shouting this word is good criticism. Tell me what's actually shallow and wrong with the show don't just spout buzzwords
Frankly? they probably had like 3 different stories in mind in the 20 years they where brewing this idea in their head and instead of compromising on one they took all of them.
Way more than just three ideas. And according to Genndy, a lot of what were probably the better ones wound up in the trash, simply because he was too pussy to risk getting accused of “it’s been done.”
Unicorn was a swing and a miss. I can only hope Genndy's aware that the character design work and bits of action were really all anyone cared about. I'm starting to feel it might be best for the guy to stick to simpler premises like Primal, where he can channel all his visual storytelling prowess in the EXECUTION of said simple premise. Sometimes you're better off working to your strengths.
I liked the character design and the animation style. But after the fox girl is killed, the plot and development of this thing starts to feel like a roller coaster.
I think a second season the show will find its stride. I see what Gennedy was trying to accomplish with this but this needed more episodes to flesh characters out
I'm really with the people here on the idea that he was trying to do too much. the man is good with a single subject matter to focus on (barring his non-existent ending skills), but this was just too many ideas at once. heck it had too many tones he was striving for at once. maybe he was scared it would get cancelled unjustly like everything else he does who knows.
honestly the first season should've just been them trying to figure what went wrong this "cycle". ending with them figuring it out and fixing it but deciding they will continue on as is rather than saddle another group of people with the reincarnations and disrupt their lives.
instead we jumped all the way to endgame and remaking the universe all the while with goofy floating Indian boy disrupting any scene he was in. he ruined so many scenes...
>yeah let's kill that evil
If we make it cool enough, no one will notice half the episodes don't have a story. We'll throw in a hot furry too.
what's the matter, too deep for you?

What's woke about it? Or are we just calling things that the same way twits call everything racist?
Ignore Industrycuck. False flagging as a /misc/babby to claim Genndy shows are woke is one of his classic tard-fu moves
I like the designs. What is this?
Woke Task Force #5037

It's a cartoon called Unicorn Warriors Eternal
Ah. Genndy made it. Hesitant to watch anything of his after Primal.
Also the OP pic isn't what the characters actually look like
I like the fat top hat robot
What was wrong with Primal? That show was amazing.
>Unicorn Warriors Eternal
Anon asked for a non joke answer, not another gay ridiculous made up title

It means thing I don't like. Its the /misc/ version calling something racist.
Obama
Genndy cannot tell a long form season wide story. 60 mins, yes but no more
False.
Is this frame still in the final episode?
I remember that the Max and Amazon versions are different, but I forgot which one has this error
prolly yeah
They weren't.
You are not thinking.
I'm a little more key hole

Yeah, but not wanting that accusation is probably what got us Winston.
Werewolves that master their abilities are cool.
Goth Betty Boop was cute, but Christ this show was a car crash. Genndy has cool visuals and fights, but he just can't fricking write.
>Goth Betty Boop was cute
VERRRY cute! I’m in love~
very cute
I will always be angry how we had a couple of good episodes then it turned into pure dog water. As soon as they left London it went to piss
Primal > Samurai Jack > Dexter’s Laboratory > clone wars > Sym bionic Titan > unicorn

Let me guess. It starts out okay and then it silently goes to shit, only to end in the worst possible way conceivable? Classic Gendy show.
I liked the character design and the animation style. But after the fox girl is killed, the plot and development of this thing starts to feel like a roller coaster.
That was a fever dream, but the hug bit with Merlin and Melinda always cracks me up.

genndy needs to get back with craig
