I just read it, her powers aren't working properly but she also got depressed and started eating a lot more or something. See the thing is, the author doesn't outright come explain what actually happens but just wanted to show to his fat gf or something that he is still attracted to her or something or he just has a fat chick fetish or something. This is what was so annoying about this comic or western comics in general, the author needs to self insert to show his "correct" opinion like a beta cuck.
