Issue with some of those sites, is you have less control over your uploads. You might not be able to delete something on your own, for example, and will need to call on someone above you to do so.

From the vibes of the clip, I'm guessing the show will barely touch on that interesting concept in an in-depth way, probably just a few simple flashbacks of them meeting for the first time. Another potentially interesting aspect could be how common creatures like vampires, fairies, and other monsters are in a world of humans and how they came to co-exist, but again, yeah, show's stated to be for a very young demographic, not expecting much

Also I've been trying to make a Sorcerer character in DnD lately but keep running into the "parents sound a lot more interesting" problem with the backstory, so that's been on my brain.
To be fair I think “parent seems more interesting” isn’t a big problem, just seems more like of a natural thing since parents are older and have more to pull from story-wise. Having the MC not be as cool as their parents makes it intriguing for when the story finally does show us tidbits about the parents and/or gives them larger roles later on. Characters being on the side also just makes them appear more interesting a lot of the time.
How would the Flashback episode be?
All material Ive seen shows that mixed kids are common at least in Isadora's family.
Probably something short with the main flashback being cut off by whatever is happening at the moment
That way you learn about how they got together while the episode mirrors how Isadora made her new friends

The show got announced a year ago and has no release date revealed, so the thread is very slow but is consistently being saved from archiving because we love her, I assume.
Are there those that prefer a design like the mom's, where the character is pretty much just one color? I think it's too simple looking, but the parents probably aren't meant to stand out compared to the main character who is intentionally contrasted.

I drew Whisper exactly once! It's an older draw, and as much as I like some of the characters, I wasn't rly up to the task of figuring out how to draw their proportions (plus Sonic chars are never lacking in the fanart department lol, so I turned towards other chars I liked). I do really enjoy some artists in the IDW comics, so maybe I'll look to their stylings and similar fanart for some inspiration down the line
