Magic is just controlled energy. Without the knowledge of viruses and bacteria on a sub atomical level science provides, using magic to cure you is just a shot in the dark.

Didn't see an Owl House cosplayers at Katsucon recently, but I'm sure someone was there. Now that I think about it, I don't see a ton of Owl House cosplayers generally.
