You may not remember it, but there was a time when everyone thought the world was going to end on December 2012. I cannot tell you how many idiots on Cinemaphile thought it was really going to happen. And the closer we got to December 2012 the more posts there were about it. I wanted to slap them all across the face and say every single doomsday prediction has been wrong. Every single one.
And I cannot tell you how many times /misc/ has been wrong about this exact same scenario. It seems like every 6 months there's a prediction about an asteroid that's going to destroy Earth. Or a satellite that's going to fall on a city. Or a solar flare that's going to fry everyone's electronics. Or a supernova that's going to darken the night sky. And it's not just /misc/tards making shit up, they back up these predictions with news articles and scientific data an maps on predicted landing spots. Every single fricking time they're wrong, but every single fricking time a bunch of morons take the bait and say "WHAT IF?!"
We've got a much better chance of the US super volcano or Mt. Fuji blowing up than getting smashed by a meteor.
>the world was going to end on December 2012
actually that was never the enddate of the maya calendar to begin with and many people back then already knew this, media was of course louder tho.
The Maya calendar actually ends in 2046, why? because in 700BC all calendar systems worldwide changed from 360 to 365 days.
there are actually a lot of things that point towards a happening in the next 20 years.
its the next big end of the world date even the WEF is talking about it.
something is happening with the Sun and Earths magnetic field.
some sort of geophysical event.
also shitton of predictive programming going on like the OP movie or other netflix productions.
Netflix is also ran by the CIA and the CIA logo is literally a red sun, a Micronova.
I was at a theme park with my girlfriend on the day it was supposed to end and I remember whatever the specific time was that people had been tossing around on social media, a bunch of people around us all stopped what they were doing and just kinda stood there looking up and around lol I think it even started to lightly rain at right around that same time. Then later that night I got to second base with her for the first time. It was a good day.
I prefered the first film. Not sure how the film in OP related to it, I was super confused trying to figure it out.
Don't look down will explain the trilogy correlation
Post on Cinemaphile
I would trust the science, which no one else did.

Isaac Newton predicted 2060.
2040 to 2060 are going to be shitty according to many people throughout the last couple hundred years.
many predictions fall into that timeframe.
