What do you do with a series that is fundamentally flawed? Even if you cut out the homosexualry, witchcraft is still a sin, and witches and sorcerers should not be allowed to live (Exodus 22:18)
nah, here's how you do it the poetically ironic way >They die burning at the stake, branded as terrorists and plotting against the rightful rule of House Clawthorne >and also subtext of them being sexual deviants.
>Have it made 25 years earlier so it's artstyle would be better. >Less relationship drama bs. >Luz and amity stay dykes/bi just for the porn of them getting fricked straight. >Gus is a girl now.
Too edgy for my taste.
Never liked those designs, no wonder Dana scrapped them one after she made them.
Give Dana full creative control. Dark Fantasy was the only part of the Owlshack that had any serious potential. The god-awful """comedy""" was clearly an afterthought
It's amazing how people thought that TOH was supposed to be this dark beta show when they were just ideas and nothing more.
I hope ayy lmaos think this exact way when they find Earth because humans are too fricking high on their own shit to be this wienery about which race of beings is "the most holy".

>no wonder Dana scrapped them one after she made them.
She did it because she's fricking lazy and it would have required more effort to animate. And given Owl House's animation is already bad, it would've looked even worse.
Tell me you weren't around when cartoons had not just good artstyles, but a variety of good artstyles without telling me you weren't around when cartoons had not just good artstyles but a variety of good artstyles.
I wouldn't call TOH ugly, but it could definitely look better. >captcha: SSJ28K
That's a surprisingly complicated question, not only because "improvements" are subjective. I know changes I would've made, but again. It's simply my taste...
I think one of the first things I'd do is remove some of the more real-world elements from The Boiling Isles. Hexside can stay with some tweaking, but it's hard to paint Luz as this fish-out-of-water character when this new realm has TV, smart devices, Instagram, motorcycle and fast food restaurant equivalents among many others. Makes this place feel more like a crappy theme park than a fantasy realm.
The next issue I'd tackle is the characters, and you know most of the usual suspects in this regard. The Collector needed more build up, Hunter should've been revealed in season 1, Raine and Eda didn't feel believable (mostly because Eda seemed more like a free-spirit that was somewhat implied to flirt around), Amity lost most of her personality once her and Luz started dating, and I can't say I ended up caring THAT much for Willow and Gus either. They felt like diversity filler for the most part (Gus more than Willow).
If I could only change ONE character though, it's Belos. Like I've said before we needed to see him do more evil things for that defeat to feel satisfying. I'm sure S&P had a hand in this, but pretty much all of his most evil deeds happened off-screen. The scene where all the characters are gathered around stomping his corpse just felt so artificial. And if I'm at the point where seeing a man who killed his brother and was planning mass GENOCIDE get defeated WASN'T satisfying, I think that man needs a rewrite. Badly.
That's not even mentioning how messy his plan was from the beginning. Why did he pretend he'd never met Luz before? What was with that glimpse of the titan in the human realm? What was he doing the basilisks? That Day of Unity plan was killing everyone, not draining their magic. It all just seemed so hastily thrown together.
Counterpoint: Belos was right, 100% justified, deserved to win, and was the only character with motives or goals beyond "be a homosexual". If they really wanted to be "subversive" they would've gone that route and really surprised everyone by having the guy you're led on to hate and want defeated turn out 100% vindicated in the end. But that would require competent writers, which the show lacked even for its by-the-numbers plot.
All the dyke and troon shit was too predictable and pandering to actually be "subversive". It's been done. Everyone and their mom has done it by now.
God, I love Belos so much. What a mistake wasting such a cool character on such a shitty and poorly written show. He deserves a spin-off/prequel at this point, the show missed a vital opportunity in "Hollow Mind" to flesh out his backstory and explain why he is the way he is and how he got to that point. Ironically it's one of the only good episodes because it has no gay shit (Amity doesn't even show up), but alas.
moronic scene is moronic, had no weight to it because we barely saw Belos do anything
It's a shitty ripoff of Yoshikage Kira's death from JoJo anyway
Hell fricking Smiling Friends did it better in the Halloween episode and that was played for laughs
I hope ayy lmaos think this exact way when they find Earth because humans are too fricking high on their own shit to be this wienery about which race of beings is "the most holy".

Which begs the question, why the frick did Dana go through Disney with their strict guidelines/S&P? Why didn't she go indie or something? Hell Adult Swim would've let her have some creative freedom with it.
CN and Nick denied her pitch. Indie back in 2019-20 was a death nell, not because of covid, but because indie wasn't even good enough yet like it's starting to be now in 2024. Adult Swim was something I too said would have been nice but Disney would have been people's wet dream pick because of the higher demand for quality animation, which this show clearly tried to take advantage of given how the pilot first looked like. Dana was basically being too optimistic, had this been a pre death to animation period then the show likely would have been better off than it was.

>Injecting reality in to escapist media
I fricking wish polhomosexuals would die already jesus Christ. Only on Cinemaphile would you ask for reality in cartoons, while Cinemaphile actually thinks and fights back against realism being injected into their games.
Escapism is overrated. Everybody and their mom wants to escape the shittiness of life.
As Kishibe Rohan once said, "Reality is the lifeblood of entertainment".

So how come it got fricked over in the box office by a movie about a plastic doll who learns the reality of the world outside her dreamhouse?
>Cinemaphile actually thinks and fights back against realism being injected into their games.
Not that it helps, because the games shove it in anyway. There's literally no escape from reality anymore, just like Queen said.
>If they really wanted to be "subversive" they would've gone that route and really surprised everyone by having the guy you're led on to hate and want defeated turn out 100% vindicated in the end.
There's a reason why most stories don't end with >and then it turns out the heroes fricked everything up and the day was ruined, the villain was right all along
and its not because of a global conspiracy regarding the social stances of protagonists. It's because such an ending is tremendously unsatisfying and storytellers since the Greeks have understood that a lack of closure would enrage audiences far more than any pleasure or novelty of being "actually subversive."
>There's a reason why most stories don't end with >>and then it turns out the heroes fricked everything up and the day was ruined, the villain was right all along
It's because most writers are hacks and couldn't pull it off. Good writers can make it work. >such an ending is tremendously unsatisfying
Good writers could make it compelling. >storytellers since the Greeks have understood that a lack of closure
It would still be a form of closure. Just not a conventional one. >would enrage audiences
Subjective. Some audiences can appreciate a little variety and others are fricking moronic. Look how much the Hangover Trilogy made at the box office.
Seriously, you're acting like David Lynch doesn't exist and that he isn't very competent when it comes to these things.
Seriously, Disney has like 20 "twist villains" at this point, have they ever done a "twist hero" who seems to be a villain at first but then turns out to be good? That would be refreshing.
>Cinemaphile is so fricking creatively bankrupt that they sneer at an actual original idea that would've been interesting and added SOMETHING to a series so devoid of substance
The absolute state of this fricking board. It's no wonder Cinemaphile never creates ANYTHING, you Black folk don't have any creativity.
Seriously, Cinemaphile had their yearly musical releases. Even that's something. You're lucky if you get anything beyond a drawgay making something that gets forgotten within a few days.
I have tried to get Cinemaphile to come together and make stuff and no one bothers to lift a finger. You guys could be making actual good cartoons instead of just complaining about the slop for moronic kids these networks shit out if you just tried.
>they don't spoonfeed his bacstory to the audience.
That's a really funny way of saying "they don't do jack shit to actually develop his character, have him do all the actual villainy off-screen, and have other characters never shut the frick up about how evil he is instead while making him lose in moronic ways in situations where he easily had the upper hand" >He and his motivation is not that complicated, we don't need some tragic backstory
God forbid a villain have nuance or actually be treated like a person instead of a plot contrivance. ANY backstory would have given some character some much needed depth and given his death some real gravity.
>God forbid a villain have nuance or actually be treated like a person instead of a plot contrivance
God forbid audiences in these days wanting to be spoonfeed with everything.
No wonder shows in these days are invaded with so much exposition like Hazbin Hotel.
Black person you're the only one even mentioning spoonfeeding. You can develop a character without spoonfeeding.

Make like change his character altogether. A shitty blatant racism metaphor villain isn't really that interesting. Make him an actually nuanced villain with clear goals and motives.
I love how endearingly stupid Odalia's plan was. It's so painfully one dimensional yet it's layered in an almost 3-dimensional way on how crazy it is
>I am the 2nd richest person in the entire Boiling Isles >Literally no one other then the Emperor has more money then I do >When the Emperor leaves for the Mortal Plane that means I will be the richest person in the boiling isles >Who cares if almost everyone but my family and possibly Boscha die in the process >See the only thing better then not having a consumer base to cater to is having them all be dead >That way all their stuff becomes yours
Odalia for no goddamn reason came to the conclusion that she would rather rule an empty kingdom if it meant she got to keep everyone's stuff
I dunno why I love that cartoonish insanity Dana doesn't understand what she wrote she wrote a great character in an poor attempt to make a terrible one. Odalia should have been the villain
Make the younger Belos a Castaway and Cxplorer even though he was like a Ship's Doctor with his brother Caleb being either his assistant or the cabin boy of the same ship he was on which got shipwrecked by the Boiling Isles, then after several years there and being rescued he publishes his Diary back in England while bringing back specimens and artefacts from the Boiling Isles in the process, he quickly goes back to the Boiling Isles to donate a first edition copy of his Diary to the Bonesbrough Libary.
I feel she needed to know more about her value system and defend herself from this kind of people without overreacting.
She's supposed to be smart and competitive, but she didn't develop those abilities. I mean, she didn't learn how not to be tricked and be tricky herself if she needed it. And she's with Luz a lot of the time. She stayed to naive for her own good.
Kill off Tribehomosexual, and kill off the guy responsible for cancelling like every modern Disney show past season 1. And also revoke the mandate for episodic slop that plagued said modern Disney shows.
Give Dana full creative control. Dark Fantasy was the only part of the Owlshack that had any serious potential. The god-awful """comedy""" was clearly an afterthought
I wish this show had never been made and that Dana had stayed the hell away from cartooning, but here we are.
Thankfully after all her immature BS got her fired from Disney she's essentially blacklisted.
>remove the magic school/harry potter/little witch academy part entirely >make the mc a boy >only learning magic from the weird owl witch and exploring the magic world >king is a sealed powerful demon sort of like salem from sabrina and king tries teaching dark/forbidden magic to the mc
the magic school/harry potter/little witch academy part entirely
The writers did this although retroactively since it's inclusion was mostly executive mandate >>make the mc a boy
Never >>only learning magic from the weird owl witch and exploring the magic world
I'd say more of that, the show wouldn't be as charming if it excluded every other element >>king is a sealed powerful demon sort of like salem from sabrina and king tries teaching dark/forbidden magic to the mc
Well that sort of did happen/ended like that
Still doesn't redeem the years of killing his brother, killing his grimwalker clones of his brother, all the past witches he gaslighted for studing multiple kinds of witchcraft, and exacerbating mass genocide against the witches he conditioned under his corrupted magic system just so he can go back to Earth, realize how much have change for the "worse" and thus because Hitler 2.0 and kill the humans off as well.
Yeah, very "misunderstood". So much so he became all this because he got jealous his brother got witch pussy.
>killing his brother
We don't know the details, it could've been in self defense for all we know. Caleb might not have been super upstanding about his whole witch affair. >killing his grimwalker clones of his brother

"Gaslighted"? That's not a word, silly. >and exacerbating
Not exacerbating but ok. >mass genocide against the witches
100% justified. Witches and witchcraft are ontologically evil, any action taken against them is morally good. Demon genocide is good. >he conditioned under his corrupted magic system
"Corrupted"? He brought order and stability to a chaotic, anarchistic wasteland. He was a competent ruler who had a stable society under his tenure. He was more like Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi. >just so he can go back to Earth, realize how much have change for the "worse"
Unfortunately yes >and thus because Hitler 2.0 and kill the humans off as well
Source: dude trust me. There's literally nothing to indicate he would've done this. Belos cares about humanity and wants to protect humankind from evil.

Ok racist zealot. Your dogshit religion does not justify killing innocents that don't live by your shitty worldview, you're not special, you're not above anyone.
>"Corrupted"?
Yes, corrupted. Just like all religions dictation living conditions. The universe exist, whatever happens happens. There's no rules to living, how to live, unless it harms your changes to live. If a space rock doomed your existence, you move it out of the way, not blow it up as its shatter remains rains down on your skull. You don't kill what doesn't harm you back. If Belos never came to their world they'd never even care he ever existed.

When he decided to enact an holocaust on a race of people he didn't like for not being le Christian , and thus, what will follow in the human world right after. The man had real power, more than any real life polititan, and you act like he's just going to live on Earth 400 years after his time, in a shack in the middle of the woods. And besides, if Belos returned to Earth I think he'd probably want to tell his story. He's the only human alive from the 1600s who could give insights to it as a primary source. Belos was all about "saving mankind" from witches, that sounds like a hero complex. His brother falling in love with a witch wasn't his main motivation to do it but also one of his grudges like Lilith punching him in the face, just like a racist guy who gets robbed by a black man he wouldn't see this as a reason to base on but as a justification for him. And he didn't even feel remorseful over Caleb because instead of blaming the witches for turning his brother against him he also blamed him for "being beyond saving. In the end Belos was a "I'm right and the world is wrong" kind of guy, maybe you wouldn't call it strictly hero complex but it's still what he is.
Also regarding Luz in that post, Luz wanted to live a wish-fulfilling fantasy but it was never her intention to become a savior, she knew what happened with the EC but she didn't made her goals to take down the local government, she didn't set on the path to save their world until she learned that Belos was trying to destroy it because she cared for it and didn't want that to happen. She's not a hero because she wants to be one, she is one because she cares.

The fact this is so hard to comtemplate is saddening.
Literally many many male characters do this as well but it was never once called out for it. Her wanting to play hero wasn't some negative because you're playing hero, it's the fact what she did was for good and what Belos did wasn't. A person that seeks the death of all over themselves verse the death of one to protect all are two separate things, and, usually, people realize the former is objectively evil.

This is what terminal brainrot looks like
Belos is basically the cringey terminally online alt-right younger brother who seethes and malds over his big bro for "killing the white race" for dating a non-white girl
The Bible says that even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
It's my personal theory that the demons did just this with Luz to corrupt her and turn her against God. That's why they appear all cute and harmless and sympathetic - because they want her to believe they're not a threat to take advantage of her.
Belos sees right through this, and so they also distort him into seeming more evil than he really is.
The show is from the "demon's" POV, if it were objective we'd see Belos as the good guy and Luz as somebody corrupted.
Owl House is definitely one of the shittiest shows ever made in the history of cartoons. What an embarrassing mess.
Never have I endured watching painful cringe garbage more than the owl house. Two and a half seasons of shitty writing with an unsatisfactory finale that is really forgetful and bland. It's not surprising that this putrid diarrhea of a show ends up getting canceled.
Amphibia and Gravity Falls was one of the good Disney shows to have stayed consistently good until the end. Especially Amphibia, with its better cast, villain, climatic penultimate and finale, and lastly, consistently good writing.
Amphibia has been carrying DTVA, and you can see how quickly DTVA faltered the moment the show ended. Disney giving Amphibia three more books is essentially them testing the waters for the Amphibia movie in the future in the hope of bringing back the golden era of DTVA.

More time with Eda teaching Luz before sending her to Hexside. After that, give Eda something to do that isn't just obsessing over Raine.

Anyway, that's my two cents at least.
?si=Z290rjtFlC9qJXzx
moronic scene is moronic, had no weight to it because we barely saw Belos do anything
It's a shitty ripoff of Yoshikage Kira's death from JoJo anyway
Hell fricking Smiling Friends did it better in the Halloween episode and that was played for laughs
Your the moron who thinks a literal puritan witch hunter is the good guy. I expect nothing less from a christtard /misc/ leakage
Belos is based and you're a homosexual, you need Jesus. I will pray for your repentance and conversion.
There is no Christ in Owl House verse.
There is more evidence of Historical Jesus than for some Greek Philosophers.
>wanting to kill literal demons
>not the good guy
Satan's not sending his best
I hope ayy lmaos think this exact way when they find Earth because humans are too fricking high on their own shit to be this wienery about which race of beings is "the most holy".
How's sophomore year of high school treating you?
Did well over 15 years ago. How is this relevant to what I said?
You're still mentally in high school if you seriously think the way you just spoke.
>hurrdurr humans are awful just nuke us all!!!
I used to think like this too. Then I grew up.
How about you stop being such a whiny b***h and make something of yourself? Be a credit to the human race.
Nta but the human race does indeed suck and edge is cool you contrarian pretentious self righteous homosexual
See what I mean. You Black folk are mentally stuck in high school. Nihilism is for homosexuals.
Im not even a nihilist in the definition of the term. Things absolutely do matter to me, the thing is they dont to most people so i hate them for it
You should pray for them instead. Hatred is a sin.
Frick jesus
Jesus loves you Anon.
Well i hate him
Ok Muslim
Anon, he's a israelite, not a Muslim
humans are awful just nuke us all!!!
How is what i said not true? ironic since when I was in highschool things were better then than they are now. If we were still living in those times the quality of animation wouldn't be on its death bed like it is today. Which is totally not the fault of shitty humans killing good shit off because they aren't evil what so ever. Belos, btw, wouldn't be wanting you to watch cartoons, that's "witchcraft" and this satanic.
>Belos, btw, wouldn't be wanting you to watch cartoons
He's not real. Hope this helps.
Exactly, so stop asking for a villain like him to win just because "real" examples "win" in real life.
>stop asking for a villain like him to win just because "real" examples "win" in real life
That's not what I'm saying at all.
The demons are literally the good guys just like in real life
That is pretty cool but i still love the final product
Eat a dick christBlack person
There is nothing more Reddit then arguying Christ ande Christian demons in some cartoon, that has neither.
Litterally the same energy as THIS
There are no demons in Owl House, or real life, definitely not the Christian ones lol

homie, it's a Disney show. You were never ever going to get a le Hitler was le right n shiet, Villans never win.

Case in point, one of the biggest movies last year was Oppenheimer. People are still talking about it. It captivated audiences specifically because of the reality is portrays.
So how come it got fricked over in the box office by a movie about a plastic doll who learns the reality of the world outside her dreamhouse?
Irrelevant. My point still stands.
There's a reason why most stories don't end with
>and then it turns out the heroes fricked everything up and the day was ruined, the villain was right all along
and its not because of a global conspiracy regarding the social stances of protagonists. It's because such an ending is tremendously unsatisfying and storytellers since the Greeks have understood that a lack of closure would enrage audiences far more than any pleasure or novelty of being "actually subversive."
>There's a reason why most stories don't end with
>>and then it turns out the heroes fricked everything up and the day was ruined, the villain was right all along
That would be refreshing.
> anon is suprised when people don't make genocidal moron driven mad with magic into a good guy, just to be subversive
Also, literally all characters had goals LOL
Samegay
You guys could be making actual good cartoons instead of just complaining about the slop for moronic kids these networks shit out if you just tried.
>to flesh out his backstory and explain why he is the way he is and how he got to that point
The best part about about Belos as a villain, is that they don't spoonfeed his bacstory to the audience.
He and his motivation is not that complicated, we don't need some tragic backstory.
>they don't spoonfeed his bacstory to the audience.
That's a really funny way of saying "they don't do jack shit to actually develop his character, have him do all the actual villainy off-screen, and have other characters never shut the frick up about how evil he is instead while making him lose in moronic ways in situations where he easily had the upper hand"
>He and his motivation is not that complicated, we don't need some tragic backstory
And why does Belos need development?
>why does the main antagonist of the show and a huge driving force in-universe need to be fleshed out so that you have a reason to give a shit about them
>Like I've said before we needed to see him do more evil things for that defeat to feel satisfying.
Make like change his character altogether. A shitty blatant racism metaphor villain isn't really that interesting. Make him an actually nuanced villain with clear goals and motives.

Sex with Odalia
I love how endearingly stupid Odalia's plan was. It's so painfully one dimensional yet it's layered in an almost 3-dimensional way on how crazy it is
>I am the 2nd richest person in the entire Boiling Isles
>Literally no one other then the Emperor has more money then I do
>When the Emperor leaves for the Mortal Plane that means I will be the richest person in the boiling isles
>Who cares if almost everyone but my family and possibly Boscha die in the process
>See the only thing better then not having a consumer base to cater to is having them all be dead
>That way all their stuff becomes yours
What a lucky shota
>What would you have done to improve The Owl House
You can't fix garbage
Thanks Scott Denoga from the short-lived Disney Channel Cartoon Hailey's on it!
More Amity, to be honest.
It seems she hasn't finished her journey.
honestly yeah, besides sort of standing against her mom her character is overall pretty static. is not necessarily bad but it stands out
I feel she needed to know more about her value system and defend herself from this kind of people without overreacting.
She's supposed to be smart and competitive, but she didn't develop those abilities. I mean, she didn't learn how not to be tricked and be tricky herself if she needed it. And she's with Luz a lot of the time. She stayed to naive for her own good.
thrown out all the lgbt crap. in no way did it/does it better the story.
More Odalia
Make the main character a straight white chad that fricks all the girls. He also kills gays and people who enable gay behavior.
Kill off Tribehomosexual, and kill off the guy responsible for cancelling like every modern Disney show past season 1. And also revoke the mandate for episodic slop that plagued said modern Disney shows.
I'd Park in her Willow if you know what I mean
Give Dana full creative control. Dark Fantasy was the only part of the Owlshack that had any serious potential. The god-awful """comedy""" was clearly an afterthought
An overgrown edgy teenager drew this. Dana's style is a joke. Shit makes Todd MacFarlane look subtle.
Better ow the edge than a Harry Potter ripoff
How about neither? Frick your false dichotomy.
>"I'm an otter! With a dark side."
Lumity truly is bestiality
Cut some of the filler in season 1 to get us diving into the plot more.
By watching better Disney shows like Amphibia
Why does Dana Terrace look like someone who'd get busted for selling a gram of weed to a minor for $30
Is this supposed to be sexy? She looks utterly repugnant. Hag cucks are delusional
Make all characters heterosexual as god intended.
Add more owls to the show.
Belos is cool as frick
Matthew Rhys should voice act more
please watch The Americans
I wish they had given Belos more personality beyond
>He was always like that
I wish this show had never been made and that Dana had stayed the hell away from cartooning, but here we are.
Thankfully after all her immature BS got her fired from Disney she's essentially blacklisted.
How does a cartoon make you seethe this bad?
I'm not seething. You are.
>remove the magic school/harry potter/little witch academy part entirely
>make the mc a boy
>only learning magic from the weird owl witch and exploring the magic world
>king is a sealed powerful demon sort of like salem from sabrina and king tries teaching dark/forbidden magic to the mc
the magic school/harry potter/little witch academy part entirely
The writers did this although retroactively since it's inclusion was mostly executive mandate
>>make the mc a boy
Never
>>only learning magic from the weird owl witch and exploring the magic world
I'd say more of that, the show wouldn't be as charming if it excluded every other element
>>king is a sealed powerful demon sort of like salem from sabrina and king tries teaching dark/forbidden magic to the mc
Well that sort of did happen/ended like that
Because he's too one-dimensional
I'm just gonna leave this here
Still doesn't redeem the years of killing his brother, killing his grimwalker clones of his brother, all the past witches he gaslighted for studing multiple kinds of witchcraft, and exacerbating mass genocide against the witches he conditioned under his corrupted magic system just so he can go back to Earth, realize how much have change for the "worse" and thus because Hitler 2.0 and kill the humans off as well.
They're not people, they deserved it
>all the past witches he gaslighted for studing multiple kinds of witchcraft
Unfortunately yes
>and thus because Hitler 2.0 and kill the humans off as well
Source: dude trust me. There's literally nothing to indicate he would've done this. Belos cares about humanity and wants to protect humankind from evil.
>We don't know the details, it could've been in self defense for all we know. Caleb might not have been super upstanding about his whole witch affair.
That's the biggest Belosgay cope I've ever read
>They're not people, they deserved it
Nah, you're justifying murder
>100% justified. Witches and witchcraft are ontologically evil, any action taken against them is morally good. Demon genocide is good.
They've known of humans for centuries and never batted an eye towards them, had they been evil they would've actively done stuff like that already
>"Corrupted"? He brought order and stability to a chaotic, anarchistic wasteland. He was a competent ruler who had a stable society under his tenure. He was more like Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi.
We've seen things in the past have been mostly civilized, he just scared them into his cult
>That's the biggest Belosgay cope I've ever read
Not an argument.
>justifying murder
They're lab rats. He created them and he has every right to destroy them.
And murder is unlawful killing. Belos can make it legal to kill his Grimwalkers if he wants to.
>known of humans for centuries and never batted an eye towards them, had they been evil they would've actively done stuff like that already
t. warped sense of reality
>We've seen things in the past have been mostly civilized
They literally ate babies and this only stopped after Belos took over.
>he just scared them into his cult
What cult?
>it could've been in self defense for all we know.
Murder is murder. Never acceptable without the acceptance of self afflicted guilt after doing so
>They're not people, they deserved it
Yeah, typical poltard response. Funny how you don't seem to count yourself as a non person.
>That's not a word, silly.
Keep denying reality, poltard
>Not exacerbating but ok.
Keep denying reality, poltard
>100% justified.
>Source: dude trust me.
Here's your source, shithead. https://youtu.be/4DNQ1ztuoE4?t=41
He's not Jesus, He's not holy white Christian messiah European. He's a dipshit that chose death of life because he couldn't get what his entitled ass wanted. Control.
>using a deleted scene that's no longer canon to supplant your heavily flawed argument
Opinion discarded.
>No argument
I accept your concession. It was animated in the final stages, and only cut likely because of the shortening. It was still intended as his ambitions merging with the titans as a last gambit for control of his plans.
Where is your proof that he specifically wanted to genocide Earth/humans next? Using something that actually made it into the show. Some after-the-fact comment Dana made online doesn't count.
>Where is your proof that he specifically wanted to genocide Earth/humans next?
When he decided to enact an holocaust on a race of people he didn't like for not being le Christian , and thus, what will follow in the human world right after. The man had real power, more than any real life polititan, and you act like he's just going to live on Earth 400 years after his time, in a shack in the middle of the woods. The man is purely a terrorist threat to all life itself that objects against his world view.
Only poltards would seriously side with this nonsense.
So, nothing then. Just your headcanon. Gotcha.
Yeah, of course you'd think that. It's like some other anon said, Cinemaphile have zero IQ to understand how writing works.
All you have are speculations without anything in canon to directly confirm them.
>he'd do this because... HE JUST WOULD, OKAY?
No, he wouldn't. He was sick and tired of being in charge of everything for so long, a quiet life back on Earth would've given him the peace of mind he'd been waiting for for centuries.
And besides, if Belos returned to Earth I think he'd probably want to tell his story. He's the only human alive from the 1600s who could give insights to it as a primary source. Wouldn't want you to know what life back then was like from someone who actually lived back then if they were around to tell you?
Yeah it's basically implied that he thought that as soon as he went back to the humans to tell them what he did they'd praise him for his actions. It's all because of his hero complex.
>hero complex
Not the case. This Anon explains why.
>Belos was trying to destroy it because she cared for it and didn't want that to happen.
Nah, Belos was based and justified for trying to rid the universe of a bunch of annoying homosexuals
Reminder, human supremacist characters are always based and correct. Like the "bad guy" from James Cameron's Avatar.
You're not even talking about something that happened in the show, you're just talking about a hypothetical scenario you think WOULD have happened.
>you're just talking about a hypothetical scenario you think WOULD have happened.
Like you are about a redeemable, good Belos ending? At least my logic is based on foundations present in the show itself.
Don't accuse me of anything because I never said Belos was redeemable, that dude was lost as frick. I only said that just because you think he would've hated the modern world that doesn't mean would do genocide 2.0
I think it would be kinda based if he killed all the Chinese haha
>for not being le Christian
There is absolutely nothing to indicate that this specially was the reason. the show doesn't even mention Christianity. You pulled this entire argument out of your ass.
Counterpoint: genocide is badass and it would've been cool as frick if Belos succeeded killing them all
Let me guess, you watch Murder Drones and thinks that's good writing for every show now to 'own the libs" or some moronic nonsense dribble.
I've never watched Murder Drones.
Then you'll love it with your views on what good writing seem to be like.
I'll pass. Doesn't look interesting.
What the frick are you talking about, moron? Literally nobody thinks this. Take your meds.
For real.
Belos was trying to kill LITERAL DEMONS. Beings that exist entirely to corrupt, deceive, and damn humans out of spite for their Creator.
>Why her? Why this girl?
>I think the point is to make us despair. To see ourselves as... animal and ugly. To make us reject the possibility that God could love us.
Dana's a moron apostate who hates Christians because "muh gays" and so she portrays them as a bunch of cutesy good guys just to be "subversive".
Doomguy also wanted to kill every last demon in his path and he's the good guy. homies who have rejected God and His grace will never understand .
Mexicans kill barn owls because they think they're literal witches. Belos is a mexican for this.
Also the demons of the Boiling Isles are nothing alike demons in christinaity besides some physical resemblence.
Dumb response is dumb. Belos is a Chad.
>the demons of the Boiling Isles are nothing alike demons in christinaity
Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It's how Muhammad and Joseph Smith got convinced to start their own religions.
>brings up murder drones out of nowhere
>strawman
>"owning da libs"
MD has nothing to do with this, or whatever dumb tangent you are on
This is what terminal brainrot looks like
>he became all this because he got jealous his brother got witch pussy.
Belos is basically the cringey terminally online alt-right younger brother who seethes and malds over his big bro for "killing the white race" for dating a non-white girl
>non-white girl
Silly Anon, Evelyn is clearly light-skinned.
I meant it as an analogy, asians are also light-skinned and yet some far right gays would object against dating them because "muh racial purity"
The joke
-------------
Your head
What's the joke? Pretending you didn't get the analogy?
See what I mean
So?
The Bible says that even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
It's my personal theory that the demons did just this with Luz to corrupt her and turn her against God. That's why they appear all cute and harmless and sympathetic - because they want her to believe they're not a threat to take advantage of her.
Belos sees right through this, and so they also distort him into seeming more evil than he really is.
The show is from the "demon's" POV, if it were objective we'd see Belos as the good guy and Luz as somebody corrupted.
I'm just holding on for an Odallector drawgay to show up
Vee wrote Cars 2
Why didn't Luz just use her magic to teleport a 45 pound weight into Belos's urethra?

Future Amity gives off a Catherine O'Hara vibe.
>Especially Amphibia
Filipino, you could at least pretend it's not actually you.
The Owl House couldn't keep up with good Disney shows like Gravity Falls and Amphibia. So the show ends up falling flat and canceled.
Amphibia has been carrying DTVA, and you can see how quickly DTVA faltered the moment the show ended. Disney giving Amphibia three more books is essentially them testing the waters for the Amphibia movie in the future in the hope of bringing back the golden era of DTVA.
Do you hear that? That's the sound of owls choking on their bad writing and terrible finale.
Shoot the imbecile who pushed their creepy ship and have it focus on the fricking magic and shit.
How do people find Odalia sexually attractive?
She has a huge ass, that's it
