what's a "steelie slumber" like, ameribros?

Pretty good. Malt liquor is higher ABV but is still beer, so you tend to chug it and not know how drunk you're getting. The sleep is great, but the morning after is not so fun. The sweet taste lingers in your mouth

The thought of drinking alcohol in the morning makes me want to throw up

One time I was drunk every waking hour for 3 days. Woke up with a hangover so I drank and it went away

At my lowest I would wake up and still be severely drunk for hours, would puke for hours straight and still the alcohol wasn’t clearing out of my system

Yep. And it was all thanks to steel reserves of course. I remember waking up and not knowing if I was still dreaming, just totally out of it for hours

the only time I find it acceptable is when I'm on holiday in a sunny country for a few days, and even then it's a refreshing fruity alcoholic drink rather than just a beer or necking straight whiskey

I used to have a drunk in the morning because I'd be hungover from the night before. Actually works

    >been a contrarian homosexual my whole life
    >friends started drinking and smoking weed at 14, especially at parties
    >went out of my way to purposely never do either and make it known I don't do either
    >"Hey man have a beer" some 16 year old offers me at a party
    >Get that crap out of my face
    >Become known as straight edge at school (but not part of that culture, especially not hardcore music/scene)
    >in my 30s now and haven't spoke to friends since I was 18
    >I still have not tasted alcohol or done any drugs, it's not even out of any principle but the contrarian thing has gone on this long
I see this posted often but only just watched it. Even still inside my head I called him a dumbass when he started puking. My subconscious justified my contrarian stance after almost almost 20 years, despite being completely alone the whole time.

Impressive, honestly. I was a contrarian in high school out of spite but afterwards succumb to the liquid israelite

      I’m 37 and don’t drink. I don’t see the appeal. Gives me a headache.

i'm kind of like that too
        barely drink, even socially
not only does it give me a headache, but i also can't sleep/get blocked sinuses throughout the night even if i have one drink
i basically just stay away from alcohol completely, feels pretty based honestly

The appeal for me is that I get slightly less socially moronic after a couple of beers, so I usually drink when it's a get-together at work or something. The point where I start to loosen up almost coincides with the point where I start to get a headache however, so I never go too crazy.

This, I can only hold a conversation while drunk
It's called "Dutch courage" for a reason

you are still the same level of socially moronic you just dont care, which really is the secret

Not much of a difference, no matter how I try I can't get past my blocks intentionally when sober.

I was a straight edge until 17 and in my town that was a big deal, but I cannot fathom the c**ty energy that must have exuded off of you in highschool for going out of your way to mention it. Just decline the offer, don't make it your fricking personality.
