Watch the original pilot from a couple of years ago. If you like that, you may not like this series as it seems they've strayed from it. Either way you'll get a taste of what it was supposed to be or something.

It refuses to point it out, because she is laughably incompetent and didn't do anything to warrant success, but still got someone redeemed. Which falls flat because we didn't even know what snake guy's sins were or what got him into Hell in the first place, so what was he redeemed of, and how?

Starting from the pilot literally everybody tells Charlie her idea is stupid and won't work. All of hell laughs at her during her tv interview
Alastor says it is futile, he's just there to laugh at people as they fail
Lucifer says not only that it won't work but the sinners aren't worth the effort
Angel Dust tells her it's a dumb idea, he's just there for free rent
Husker is cynical about it and is only participating because Alastor is forcing him
Adam and Lute tell her it won't work and the sinners are irredeemable anyway
Vaggie is only participating because she loves Charlie, and tries to manage Charlie's expectations
Sara lets Charlie plead her case and then rules there's no evidence it is possible
Adam points put that if Angel Dust is so reformed then why hasn't he showed up in heaven?
Sir Pentious is the only sinner who takes the whole thing seriously, and is subsequently their first success because he dies a second time for unselfish reasons. What he did to go to hell isn't important, because he believes Charlie when she says he can change.
People telling Charlie she's wrong and her ploughing ahead anyway is a huge part of the show.
