Man I don’t know what to tell you other than magic isn’t real and never has been. This is like that video where some African negress was criticizing western education for not including African black magic because she said a person from her village shot a ball of lightning out of their hand.
Then why doesn't she just resummon her imaginary kids? It doesn't make sense that she has to turn into a villain to get them back when she just created them out of nothing in the first place
>Then why doesn't she just resummon her imaginary kids
The children are unique because of their interaction with the world she created -- but also because of their interaction with the world that she did not create.
Wanda can create new life; however, that life then takes on a life of its own because of its circumstances/choices/etc. Nature vs nurture basically. Wanda cannot manifest a soul that exists independently of herself with that degree of intricacy and complexity -- in part because you cannot know or even a imagine another soul completely. The Vision that Wanda created in Wandavision notes this same concept -- that he is created by Wanda but he is not Wanda and has become something entirely new within within the world created by her magic.
The children she creates with the Darkhold would not be the children she created in Westview. She wants the kids that she had with Westview-Vision, not an approximation from her imagination.
Then use a sperm donor. She would have had to do that anyway since Vision doesn't have sperm.
Imagine you had kids with an unchained AI that gain physical form by communing with the physical manifestation of a primordial element of reality itself.
Who could possibly fill the gap left by such cosmic dick?
Her kids obviously.

CRASHING THIS REALITY WITH NO SURVIVORS
That's not how the movie portrays it. The film only mentions vision TWICE. Only ONE was an actual name drop. Vision appears ZERO times in her fantasy perfect life dream sequence. The film, and as a result Wanda, does not give a flying frick about Vision. Apparently her perfect world is just being a single mom with 2 kids living in suburbia, so your justification as to why Wanda doesn't make her own kids is completely invalidated by the film because it has terrible writing :')
Imagine you had kids with an unchained AI that gain physical form by communing with the physical manifestation of a primordial element of reality itself.

She's fricking stupid. Just go back in time and grab Vision just before the beam hits him, leave a second infinity stone and use magic so it looks like he was vaporized.
Timeline preserved, you get to have your dead ANYONE back
Alternatively repair him, he's a machine and the Loki show demonstrated the stones are a triviality and so is time travel
Well yeah that's pretty much what her power is in the comic
She really want kids so she literally created her kids with magic
Then after all the bullshit events I don't care to talk about she lost her children because they're not real
Desperate she went to hell when she heard her kids are there. Turn out satan or lucifer use those kids as his hands now
Fricking mental, the 80s and 90s comics are But they're quite fun read.
>Thanos is just as powerful as her.
No, moron. They both came from a total different aspect of power source. One has true power the other one is just muh black magic.
She's the catalyst for House of M event.
She was so frustrated, she yelled NO MORE MUTANTS and suddenly most mutants lose their power
That event was pretty good.
>and suddenly most mutants lose their power
That's underselling how wacky her powers are in the comics, that event started with Wanda rewriting the entire reality to create a timeline where everyone is a mutant and they rule Earth.
>explain the limits of her magic then. Why couldn’t see just turn thanos into stone or something?
Just think of Wanda as a D&D wizard.
She's a carry until she gets to high level, then she can delete everything so completely and effortlessly that the Dungeon Master has to start pulling some narrative bullshit to stop her from ruining the game for everyone else.
Thanos caught her mid-level, had a powerful artifact, and used a minion to interrupt her casting. Otherwise he'd have been fricked.
Magic doesn't really count as superpower but they came up with some mubo jumbo explenation: see
>reality disrupting quasi psionic force
But how would one bring it to the cinema?
They trully made her ""Powers"" overpowered, its nothing like magic at all.
The only reason they did this was to have a strong women.
Question. How come dr strange isn’t as a strong as her? Doesn’t he have ‘magic’ as his power as well? All that gay ever does is teleport and throw his cape at people.
Dr Strange powers come from the stones, it is not magic. Marvel overall has a problem with balancing the power of each super hero, you shouldn't be surprised that each hero appears to be as strong as superman in each their own movies.
>Thanos is just as powerful as her.
No, moron. They both came from a total different aspect of power source. One has true power the other one is just muh black magic.
Whatever the case, he's still a being who required her full might and concentration of magic and that unexpected artillery strike on his own people caused her to lose that concentration so he was able to escape certain death.
Wanda is like an avatar for the mind stone. Her powers are consequently whatever she thinks of. Is her power level kinda broken? Yeah. Do you have to rationalize some plot beats with “it happened this way because it is how she wanted it?” Also yes. But can you make anything stupid by overanalyzing it, especially if your intent is to declare it stupid? Hell frickin yeah you can.
It’s a movie series about fricking wizards and magic and superheroes. If you try too hard to ground the extraordinary in the ordinary, it all seems stupid. All of it.

No, moron. They both came from a total different aspect of power source. One has true power the other one is just muh black magic.
There's such a thing as too overpowered. SW is literally the most powerful being in the entire MCU so that's probably why they killed her off.

Why are the people on this website fine with Superman being OP but so seething at Wanda?
It really makes you think what kind of people post on this website.
Incels and trannies ruined this board more than any other board. I go to Cinemaphile and see actual fun discussion threads about powerful female characters sprinkled with coomer content, same with Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile. Here? It's a fricking mess

And i don't mean newbie in a way of being new on this website, you are clearly new to the whole univers of super heros.
First of all, the way marvel or DC portais these superheros is over the fricking top, inbalanced as frick. Keep this in your fricking mind when yuo try to talk about this shit.
Second, the most important part, Superman was and is always the stronges super hero of them all and therefor is always shown as over the fricking top.
When they make a movie about superman, they go all out because they fricking can, no need to limit the shit out of a hero here, superman is stronger than anyone and always will be.
There was only one movie where they went to fricking far but it didn't do any harm since SUPERMAN IS THE STRONGES HERO EVER
period.
But that's exactly what they did with Wanda here. She is over the top OP and the films with her show just that. She's stronger than anyone else in the entire MCU and that was shown when she almost singlehandedly beat Thanos. You saw her also singlehandedly kill all 5 members of the Illuminati like they're nothing including the other OP superhero black bolt. The movies are consistent with what you said.
What isn't consistent though is why this website is okay with it if it's superman but not okay with it if it's Wanda Maximoff.

Let me just spell it out for you already.
Cinemaphile is always filled with counter culture contrarian homosexuals so of course with Marvel being the mainstream and DC being the smaller niche, they'll stan for and defend DC more while deriding anything Marvel does. Hence why they're okay with Supes but malding at SW despite both being equally OP in their own universe and depicted as so. really no surprise here for the shithole website known as Cinemaphile

Because its marvel being moronic, unable to balance her power. Yes, she is OP.
let us back up from marvel and take a look at DC, remember what snider cut did to the last super hero movie? He balanced superman powers in a good way.
Superman doesn't shit skills whenever he wants. His superpowers are pretty limited. He can fly, shoot lasers out of his eyes, freeze stuff with his breath and has superstrengh and that's about it. Wanda can literally transform things and open portals, shoot fireballs...Nobody knows where it ends.
You know why you obfuscating troony but for the zoomers who have only ever grown up with Synder's Superman: Superman has never been successfully argued as being overpowered because he's limited by his own morals. He's a metaphor for what boomers thought America was, a super powered nation which could utterly dominate the entire world but willingly chose not to for moral reasons.
There's nothing like that for Scarlet Witch or any of the Nu-heroes and Superman stand ins, which make their inability to conquer the world totally unbelievable.

Superman powers are unbeaten, he is the incarnation of being OP.
The Black witch is just inba for the plot.
Do you know why the snider cut for the DC movie had to rebalanced the super powers of their heros? They went to far at one point.
Marvel is doing the same mistake and at one point it will make no sense anymore.
We might already past that line with wanda going full OP here.
But let me open another cann of worms here;
actually it was hulk who should have been able to hold thors hammer since his strenght grows from the force put on him.
>Marvel is doing the same mistake and at one point it will make no sense anymore. >We might already past that line with wanda going full OP here.
Yes this which is why they decided to kill her off. Can you imagine any plotline trying to happen seriously if she was still alive?

>Alexei Shostakov : OK, OK, you don't have to get so clinical and nasty!
>Yelena Belova : I was just going to talk about fallopian tubes...
Up until she got ahold of the Darkhold and started learning actual magic, she was just a telepath/telekinetic. A very powerful one, capable of rearranging the matter and thoughts of an entire town but thats typical comicbook fare, high-level tk becomes reality alteration.
She only starts pulling oddball stunts in the Dr Strange movie which are from actual spells.
In my head canon, the infinity stones oscillate like neutrinos, each of them are capable of switching places with the others, in effect any given stone is all of the stones. That Wanda's power wasn't from the Mind stone but it was actually operating as the Reality stone for her (and for Pietro, it operated as the Time stone). Similarly, Carol's power came from the Power stone not the Space stone.
With SW dead now, is third eye Strange the most powerful being in the entire MCU now? What could even come close to his already inherent power and now free multiverse traversing and the darkhold but controlled?
With SW dead now, is third eye Strange the most powerful being in the entire MCU now? What could even come close to his already inherent power and now free multiverse traversing and the darkhold but controlled?
every mcu movie from now on will just be, well why didn't dr. strange warp in, alter reality, and resolve the issue in 10 seconds?
I watched the movie today. >Hey I'm the smartest man alive. >You better tread lightly, my Black over here could kill you with one single word. >So you better not sew his mouth shut like Neo in the matrix or I will get really angry and slowly stretch out my arm towards you.
Were the writers high?
She almost killed Thanos alone with pure anger magic. Now she has darkhold power on top of it so yes she can basically do anything. She only lost because she didn't want to look like a c**t in front of her not children.
Dr Strage is a powerless cuck in his own film. His first scene is him being an evil bastard who wanted to kill America Chavez. Next scene he's an actual cuck who attends his waif's wedding to a Black person. Then he spends the whole film begging Wanda not to be bad and just runs away from her. He even says that's he's scared...The film resolves itself only when Wanda renounces being bad on her own....You couldn't just have Strange defeat her...
Bruh, you maybe missed his entire arc. His accident, the fact that he doesn’t get to frick Regina George in any universe anymore, his multiverse deaths, all of it was due to being a control freak who didn’t trust other people to do the right thing. His only chance at winning was trusting others to do their goddamn jobs, and if you’ve ever known a world class surgeon, you know that their fricking ego is both a source of their strength and a devastating weakness. Sorry if you wanted more of the same A-to-B tropey storytelling, but this shit is so on point both to character and profession that it’s almost tragic.
>and if you’ve ever known a world class surgeon, you know that their fricking ego is both a source of their strength and a devastating weakness.
if their ego stopped them from doing their job they wouldn't be a world class surgeon
Imagine formerly booger-picking Timmy goes to school for a few years then confidently strolls up to another human and is like >yeah bro, I can totally fix your brain, just hold still for a sec I got this
then afterwords is like >you're welcome Black folk
or is capable of writing it off with a >ahhh darn, oh well, I got the next one
and approaching the next surgery with the exact same level of confidence.
It's fricking psychotic. You would have to be deranged to do it well.
>akshually the real wanda was being held hostage in her mind and satan from the book was controlling her >satan's goal was to go spend time with kids >satan was consistently holding back and being reasonable instead of just blowing everyone up
These movies are too much of a mess nowadays.
They're comitee designed, then rolled through test audiences, then another comitee redesigns the story, then they do reshoots adding new characters at the last minute, and just CGI shit in to fill the gaps.
Did you fricking fastforward through the scene of xavier entering her mind, seeing wanda buried in rubble, and then getting his neck snapped by scarlet wanda?
I thought main Wanda was using that Wanda as a puppet, she was channelling herself from her universe, never leaving that temple. The Wanda in rubble was the psyche of that one's. I don't know where you got the Satan part.
Wow it's almost like capeshit is nonsensical bullshit where nothing matters until the last fight where whoever is supposed to win finally punches their opponent hard enough that they beat them.
Capeshit is just a 200 million dollar extended professional wrestling match.
Strange and Wanda were just doing random nonsense throughout the film. Throughout the whole MCU really, Strange's powerlevel is all over the place. Hacks can't write magic users at all.
>It looked like she could do anything whenever the plot wanted it.
Exactly this if you think of the Catholic religion, the little gods (those people who reach human perfection) can do almost anything, but the MCU and Marvel writers are usually israeli or atheist, so they will never embark on the full power that a little god's mind can do, same with the character Eleven in Stranger Things and Scarlet Witch and more powerful in the comics than in the MCU
Yeah, he could definitely take him on and frick Thanos up. The question is if thanos uses the gauntlet correctly does David have a chance. If he used the gauntlet like he did in infinity war, david could take him.
magic innit. when will we see a technomancer fight her?

that is old as frick description, she has been able to fly since the 90´s
that looks like one of the Marvel Universe books, nearly every character's powers have changed a lot since the 80s and early 90s
She is a strong women, who can kill random people without feeling bad.
It's called magic you fricking moron OP. Ain't you never seen Harry Potter?
>muh magic
Explain the limits of her magic then. Why couldn’t see just turn thanos into stone or something?
Because Thanos has actual real superpowers.
She almost did singlehandedly take out Thanos until he called an artillery strike from his spaceship on his own minions.
>witch who can transform Thanos into a pickle
>get neutralized by artillery
watch the scene again brainlets
Why didn’t she use magic to teleport away from the strike, then teleport back and finish him off?
She didn't expect thanos to resort to friendly fire so it took her by surprise.
Sauron would have shot the eagles down
despite having magic powers, she is still a human being with average motor/thinking/reflexes, now if she was Goku...
It would take too much mana
A high level level DND wizard wouldn’t be stopped by a fricking artillery strike of any size.
She wasn't stopped by it, it ruined her concentration which she needed every bit of it since Thanos is just as powerful as her.
>Thanos is just as powerful as her.
No, moron. They both came from a total different aspect of power source. One has true power the other one is just muh black magic.

That's underselling how wacky her powers are in the comics, that event started with Wanda rewriting the entire reality to create a timeline where everyone is a mutant and they rule Earth.
She probably gave herself new powers per her newly found reality warping. As like she fully awakened probability manipulation and such.
Her powers hadn't evolved at that point to accomplish such feat.
She studied a black magic book afterwards
During the thanos fight she didn't even know she was a witch
And still almost singlehandedly beat him.
The second time
First time not so much

>WHY ARE HER POWERS THE SAME AS IN THE COMIC!??!!
see
I think the biggest question out of all this is who the frick cares.
Cinemaphile does because she's a woman
But Cinemaphile only cares about transwoman
>What's her superpower?
seduction
Cute
She suddenly got twice as hot when she turned to evil. Funny how that is.
With SW dead now, is third eye Strange the most powerful being in the entire MCU now? What could even come close to his already inherent power and now free multiverse traversing and the darkhold but controlled?
the real answer is whatever asspull the writers come up with, only children make questions like yours
every mcu movie from now on will just be, well why didn't dr. strange warp in, alter reality, and resolve the issue in 10 seconds?
Dr. Strange can't warp reality, he couldn't even defeat the Scarlet Witch himself.
Yeah but she's not around anymore. Even if, say we assign arbitrary "power levels" to them, it'd look like
witch: 9999
strange: 5000
thor: 2000
the rest: who cares
so he'd still he heads above heels literally everyone else in the MCU
She has the power of pulling the plot out of her ass.
magic, ain't gotta explain shit
Just like jean grey, she's as powerful as the writers choose to make her.
That whole sequence was embarrassing.

God complex is found most often in surgeons, like you almost have to be a fricking psycho to make it.
Imagine formerly booger-picking Timmy goes to school for a few years then confidently strolls up to another human and is like
>yeah bro, I can totally fix your brain, just hold still for a sec I got this
then afterwords is like
>you're welcome Black folk
or is capable of writing it off with a
>ahhh darn, oh well, I got the next one
and approaching the next surgery with the exact same level of confidence.
It's fricking psychotic. You would have to be deranged to do it well.
>akshually the real wanda was being held hostage in her mind and satan from the book was controlling her
>satan's goal was to go spend time with kids
>satan was consistently holding back and being reasonable instead of just blowing everyone up
These movies are too much of a mess nowadays.
They're comitee designed, then rolled through test audiences, then another comitee redesigns the story, then they do reshoots adding new characters at the last minute, and just CGI shit in to fill the gaps.
the real wanda was being held hostage in her mind and satan from the book was controlling her
huh?
Did you fricking fastforward through the scene of xavier entering her mind, seeing wanda buried in rubble, and then getting his neck snapped by scarlet wanda?
I mean, can you blame him if he did?
I thought main Wanda was using that Wanda as a puppet, she was channelling herself from her universe, never leaving that temple. The Wanda in rubble was the psyche of that one's. I don't know where you got the Satan part.
That was our evil Wanda possessing the alternate Wanda. There was no Satan. Do you remember what dream walking was?
>our
Wow it's almost like capeshit is nonsensical bullshit where nothing matters until the last fight where whoever is supposed to win finally punches their opponent hard enough that they beat them.
Capeshit is just a 200 million dollar extended professional wrestling match.
Reality Warping. So basically everything the plot needs her to do.
Strange and Wanda were just doing random nonsense throughout the film. Throughout the whole MCU really, Strange's powerlevel is all over the place. Hacks can't write magic users at all.
>be MCU/Sony
>make $3 billion just off Strange across media
>moron claims they are the ones that don't really understand how it works
...found the media moron who is seriously out of touch with reality & business.
>she could do anything
Except defeating the wall
This, I preferred her appearance at the end of Winter Soldier.
Could this guy at full power take on Thanos?
Yeah, he could definitely take him on and frick Thanos up. The question is if thanos uses the gauntlet correctly does David have a chance. If he used the gauntlet like he did in infinity war, david could take him.
BECAUSE IT JUST IS OKAY
STOP QUESTIONING IT
Your overthinking it! Just turn your brain off and enjoy it!!!
Magic is shit
Everyone can do everything at any time unless the writer decides they can't
