It's Terminator 2. You can make a good case for ranking the others whichever way, but it needs to be said that Avatar 2 is remarkable for releasing in 2022 and being as incredible as it is. It's up there with his most accomplished films and demonstrates a level of craft that we might not see for a very long time unless he manages to top it with sequels.
Cameron*s prime was from mid 80's to early 90's after that, his former wife has done the better movies.
But still, he shit-all-over those hyped up 2000's directors in Hollywood.

Judgment Day is THE greatest sequel of all time and the best scifi action movie ever made. It's perfect.
