everything but Sofia Boutella fighting all sweaty with her nipples almost jumping out of her clothes.
rest is dumb garbage and thievery. when the robutt said "I'm from the Mechanicas Miltiarium" or something I wanted GW to just fricking sue Sneeder for copyright infringement.
and the red robed techpriests?
I bet Sneeder always got caught when he copied homework in school.
Everything reads like an amateurs first draft full of incoherent and contradicting ideas, somethings are overly elaborated while others are underdeveloped, his inability to kill any of his darlings made it so its bloated to hell.
>I was trained not to love >The academy encouraged us to find a lover
Sorry bro, I know you turned your brain off to just enjoy it but that doesn't mean none of the stuff you didn't think about never happened.
You do know there's a difference between love and a lover, right? Or an actual relationship or a sex partner?

You're aware you can have an actual relationship with your lover. Zack very obviously wanted his cake and to eat it too of a loveless fascist society but Sofia to have a tragic lost lover because he's seen that cliche in other movies.

Because of the world-building, sets, props, costumes, acting, pacing, and so on.

While i find the plot generic as frick almost to a purpose, i liked the some of the characters. I like the entire first act and Ed Skrein's acting. How unhinged he made the character despite still managing to make the character come off as polite and restrained.
I found the concept of the Motherworld, the costumes the characters wear, the props, everything very interesting and well made. It depicts an old society with thousands of years of history despite said society coming from a sci-fi world.

You're "objectively" wrong.
She has a bigger role in the director's cut, supposedly, but i just wanted to show a picture from the movie with good makeup and props.
So then you like how they played dress up. Shame about the horrible dialogue, generic plot, mediocre action, zero emotional investment or stakes, telegraphed 'twists,' and nonsensical character choices.

The plot is generic indeed, but the there is some great dialogue in there, good action compared to most sci-fi movies, some emotional investment thanks to Kora's journey, and the characters are fricking awesome. You've Space Conan in the movie. You've a knight robot.

Nah the plots bad, I can't remember any worthwhile dialogue, action is pretty uninteresting too probably because I've seen it all 20 years ago, I don't get how you can get invested in the characters they just kind of DO things to get the plot moving but it never feels like it's compelled by a deeper character. Space Conan is just the aesthetic, he has no character and doesn't do anything outside his forced set piece, same for Anthony Hopkinsbot.

So you recall any of that great dialogue? I only remember clumsy, unnatural writing and exposition dumps. There was a lot of action, but it was boring. Slow mo shots of yelling woman shooting offscreen. Kora doesn't end up meaning much to the audience, so there is no investment in her trite "journey." The characters are far from awesome; they're tired tropes. And what I meant was many of their decisions are nonsensical, not the characters themselves. The robot does almost nothing in the movie, btw.

Most of the dialogue the robot says is great, the dialogue between Kora and the old guy, the dialogue from the Asian assassin, the dialogue from Space Conan, and so on.
I disagree about Kora. I am interested in her journey, her relationship with the bad guy that adopted her, what crime she committed in the past, what the princess is all about, and so on.

You're gonna have to hit me with some actual dialogue because I remember zero good dialogue from any of them. Hopkinsbot ws delivered well because Hopkins has a nice voice but I don't remember him saying anything of impact.

The dialogue between Space Conan and the bird is an example of a dialogue that i liked.

I liked how what he said related to both him and the bird, as if he was both speaking about himself and the bird, making them one and the same.

Accurate. Felt like watching a kid play with action figures, staging little "badass" moments for each of them with no actual ideas. Guy dumped a fat pile of shit on an already shaky filmography.
>What's so bad about it?
Every action scene is ruined by the annoying slow motion effect. Other than that, it's an okay film and I don't get what all the crying is about.
Every single thing.
Not enough scenes with focus on Sofia Boutella's sweaty feet in them.
hmm you could be onto something anone

i found it boring
Everything. It's like giving a 16 year old high school film fan a $150m to make a sci fi movie. It's inept in almost every way.
Explain it further.
Everything reads like an amateurs first draft full of incoherent and contradicting ideas, somethings are overly elaborated while others are underdeveloped, his inability to kill any of his darlings made it so its bloated to hell.

Thank you, i was just waiting for you to expose yourself as a fricking midwit.

Beautiful nipples, princess
The care put into the movie was really great.
Now I understand your hostility to midwits, since you're obviously on the low end of the wits scale.
