Heroes was repetitive dogshit but Shadow was fun in how balls to the wall it was - it had a better soundtrack too. That said, SA2 is a genuine triumph and one of the best video games of all time. I was a big fan of SA1 and Sonic R growing up too, but they don’t come close (the open world in SA1 was based though and hella comfy)
Shit went downhill after Dreamcast went under, but was terminal when Yuji Naka was gone. Soon after that, so was Shiro Maekawa. Sonic Team tried to stay above water for a few more years, but come 2010, it was over. All the talent had left and it never came back
Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshma effectively quit Sega after the dreamcast died. Ohshima officially left, Naka stuck around for a bit but he wasn't invollved that much. After the dreamcast Sonic became just a money making thing and it slwoly died.
>not particularly good but not particularly awful >enjoyable to the target demographic of children at the time >misguided but interesting misuse of manpower for new technology (making a movie almost entirely out of CG; making the programming for the chao garden so complex it still hasn't been replicated) >bashed by oldfag fans of the series for taking the series in the wrong direction >reassessed and praised by nostalgiafags on the internet once they became adults
Star War prequels fit.
>tfw would leave my gamecube on all day while at school so my chaos would mature so i could breed them to make a full S chao.
Never did it, best i got was A's S's and a B.
Trying to think of a sci-fi movie where the protagonist tries to stop something from crashing onto the Earth.
Or hell, anything involving reentry or preventing reentry. I can't come up with much kinos. There's Interstellar of course. There's also Jason X.
blade 2
im trying to think of a film where the dvd bonus features are better than the actual film.
dawn of the dead remake?
Probably some 2000s anime like Yugioh
I remember that news broadcast as a kid I’d pretend the zombie apocalypse was really happening
Spider-Man 2
Should be Spider-Man 3. Shadow is the symbiote suit, Sonic is regular Spider-Man.
>playing this, heroes, and shadow as a kid
I want to go back
The 2000s was the best era for Sonic, I don't care what anyone says. Even the infamous '06 is better than the 2010s shit.
>brawl
>drake and josh
>family guy
>minecraft
>danny phantom
>spider-man
Literally me
Heroes is mediocre and Shadow sucks. Colors is about on par with Heroes and Generations beats them both. Classic Sonic beats both eras out.
>kids born in 2005 are legally adults now
Time keeps on slippin...
Now I'm getting flashbacks of listening to the Space Jam soundtrack on cassette tape
For me it's

Rick Ross is always the funniest thing on this list. It feels like something that was covertly edited there and was never noticed or removed
Yeah I laughed at that but he really was everywhere back in the day. Remember being in my friend's mom's car with Rick Ross and 2chainz playing.
Sonic Heroes is garbage
Sonic Heroes has a very good OST i wish i owned it

Kelly does it again
2 and 3&K are peak Sonic. I don't care what Adventurebabbies say.

Buffy season 2
satantango at 0.25% speed
pretty sure it's this
Inuyasha airing in adult swim
DBZ is the only correct answer
Why does this game have a certain psychological effect on people?
because the music is awesome and all the characters look cool
Kill la Kill
Sonic is the best rockstar. Bet you never thought about the fact that in the mega drive games he goes around smashing TVs.
So how did they went from a great game like Sonic Adventure 2 to a piece of worthless junk like Sonic Heroes?

Sonic Heroes is good if you play the original GameCube version and not the glitchy PS2/Xbox ports.
I played it on GC bro and the drop in quality from SA2B to that made me give up on the franchise.
The Xbox version is actually the most functional one in my experience but all ports are mired by bad physics.
Romeo Must Die
I love this game so much lol
SA2 ending with Aerosmith:
Transformers 07
it comes out next year
I really hope they get live and learn. Weather it be against Metal Sonic, Biolizard or Chaos. I just hope they use it for a double super mode team up.

Must have:
>Late 90s/Early 2000s vibes
>Cheesy Fun
>Iconic scenes
>Quotable
>rivals
I'm going with Zoolander or The Matrix
Digimon the Movie
Ska soundtrack too
