Best overall/for non returning players Tocantins. My personal favorite is Palau. Cagayan, HvV, Gabon are all great. Thailand is hysterical but isn't "good"
I think it was...Guatemala? Where they technically were near a river but couldn't go in it because there were fricking crocodiles. I like beach seasons but it's kino when they have to work around the natural environment and incorporate it into challenges.
its shit now they just stay in fiji back in the day it was like ohh where are they going next?! gotta watch the reunion and find out!! now its also only 26 days with no live reunion they cut costs during covid and knew people would still watch
You're just scratching the surface. It's Survivor Summer Camp. >rehearsed sob stories and casting coach castaways >autists min-maxing with 3-D printed and obsessively practiced challenges >kumbaya and "BIG MOVES" from cookie-cutter white-collar nerds, careful not to harm social media prospects >geeking out over "My Survivor Experience™" on the same beaches in Fiji for a whopping 26 days
They should just fricking end up, and only come back if they're serious about a quality product.
These 10 are the best/most representative of the series across the eras (later eras aren't as good) >Borneo #1 - 2000 >Australian Outback #2 - 2001 >Pearl Islands #7 - 2003 >China #15 - 2007 >Micronesia #16 - 2008 >Heroes vs Villains #20 - 2010 >Philippines #25 - 2012 >Cagayan #28 - 2014 >Millennials vs Gen X #33 - 2016 >David vs Goliath #37 - 2018
Cochran's a weiner. I'm embarrassed that they included him as an "advantage" in Game Changers #34 - 2017.
Caramoan sucks. The only redeeming factors are the flameouts, ridiculous hidden-immunity-idol plays, a collected 2 mins of Brenda being cute as frick, and Corrine's piercing blue eyes stimulating fantasies of her sucking the soul out my my body through my penis.
If someone wanted to avoid spoilers from the presence of returning players, I'd swap out: >Micronesia #16 - 2008 >Heroes vs Villains #20 - 2010 >Philippines #25 - 2012
with >Cook Islands #13 - 2006 >Samoa #19 - 2009 >Survivor 42 - 2022
While not the most entertaining seasons, and certainly less so than their counterparts, they have certain elements or legacy player introductions helpful for the overall narrative of the show.
you obviously can't read and/or are reactively seething because the annoying Canadiagroid won.
it's the least bad and has the least confusing edit of the gay nu-era #41-44
My personal favorite is Samoa just because Russell Hantz was such a transformative player and he overcame impossible odds just to fall short because he was an antisocial moron.
I also enjoyed Gabon which many people did not because of the sheer unbridled level of autism that permeated the game. Corinne, Sugar, Ace, Randy, Crystal, the asian homie, the pedophile who won all contributed to the absolute shitshow and it was fun as frick.
>the asian homie
You mean Ken Hoang? AKA SephirothKen AKA Liquid`Ken? >Russell Hantz was such a transformative player
lol, imagine watching Samoa and Cagayan back-to-back as a first time viewer
I don't know if I hate Rick Devens more or Ben Dreibergen. Their repeated idol finds are suspect. I get that they were desperate, and as White guys, they were willing to work and search, but it seems like Production helped them for entertainment value.
He had an interesting 3 season portrayal >Tocantins - delusional, controlling "Renaissance Man" >HvV - buffoon, and kind musician at Ponderosa >South Pacific - cult leader who comes up short
Russel could never and will never win a season of Survivor. Ever. He fundamentally doesn't understand the game. He's more similar to Sugar than Tony in that there was no combination of people he beats at the end of either of the seasons he made final tribal.
maybe he should have owned up to his based cutthroat game instead of continuing the larp as an "honorable Christian man"
also BRob in All Stars
Coach could have won SoPa if he owned up to being a psycho cult leader and it's fantastic watching his pained faces at FTC because he sort of realizes that but chose "being Coach the character" over winning and that's awesome.
the first one
the one with boston rob
don't be stupid, stupid!

I put a A on mah ahm. Fuh Ambuh.
Tocantins has the best aesthetics, along with Gabon. I miss non-beach seasons.

i'm an old school chad and my favourite seasons are africa and thailand
I still can't believe Madagascar was their backup plan in case COVID made them leave Fiji
its shit now they just stay in fiji back in the day it was like ohh where are they going next?! gotta watch the reunion and find out!! now its also only 26 days with no live reunion they cut costs during covid and knew people would still watch

pearl islands with rupert, sandra and johnny fairplay is when it peaked
Ding dong the witch is gone.

Pretty good list. Quick shout-out to Caramoan #26 - 2013 (Cochran's season)

frick you for suggesting 42 in any context

I like the season where some b***h looks at the camera and says "I didn't come here to make friends."
that's every season, moron
>Survivor race wars
>season when the tv anchor found 3 idols back to back to back. 36?
Cook Islands #13 - 2006
Edge of Extinction #38 - 2019
I don't know if I hate Rick Devens more or Ben Dreibergen. Their repeated idol finds are suspect. I get that they were desperate, and as White guys, they were willing to work and search, but it seems like Production helped them for entertainment value.
any season with coach, i love that dumb mf
He had an interesting 3 season portrayal
>Tocantins - delusional, controlling "Renaissance Man"
>HvV - buffoon, and kind musician at Ponderosa
>South Pacific - cult leader who comes up short
he should've won South Pacific. He might be the 2nd most robbed player ever, after Russel from Samoa
maybe he should have owned up to his based cutthroat game instead of continuing the larp as an "honorable Christian man"
also BRob in All Stars

Shambo, Ben
Ben was never making the merge but I do concede that if Russel was somehow doing well early in the game and was with Ben he could beat Ben.
any season with Amanda
She's so fricking hot
