>Originally, our expansion saw the Dragonborn lead his victorious civil war faction with dragon air-support straight into the heart of the Aldmeri Dominion... but it was too intense. >So we just threw somethin' together with vampires, enjoy!
V was the best because of the Shinning and Nightmare Cafeteria but all those classic ones are great. It died after the 10th ToH. Once they started doing shit related to Harry Potter and fricking Xena Warrior Princess, that's when the Halloween episodes died. Even to this day, they still do parodies of Game of Thrones and other non-horror shit and it drives me fricking crazy.
The most overrated episode of the classic era is the Homer3 one where he enters a wall portal into a 3D space. That whole segment is just a showcase to show how cool 3D looked at a time when it wasn't common to see it in the animation. There was nothing horror or Halloween related about that segment. That entire episode in general wasn't anything special even though the Nightmare on Elm Street parody was decent but it's the worst of classic ToH.
It was back before society crumbled so it was kino. Just feel some sympathy for all those kids in the northern states who had to wear a winter coat over their costume.
I never liked these episodes to be honest.

The veins continuing up into their hair always bothered me as a oversight.
and the same key on a zylophone making different tones bothers you too, right?
Personally, I hope someone got fired for the Golden Era discontinuity of Flanders' idiosyncratic speech style.

That charming earlier Simpsons animation.
The Raven
That's odd. Usually the blood gets off on the 2nd floor.
V is the best
Treehouse of Horror IV is the best episode, the best overall skit is Time and Punishment.
Most of the old ones are great. The most memorable is probably the election treehouse of horror episode. "Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos."

i get it. a small chuckle was earned
Underrated
Dial Z for Zombie. It was the first Treehouse episode I saw, back when it first aired.
No one's going to post it?
Sigh.

My work here is done
JUST DONT LOOK
IV, V, and VI was their magical run. Maybe I’m just nostalgic because I was a kid then though
>alien replicons... nude conspiracies... oh my god... LYNDON LAROUCHE WAS RIGHT
The sneed episode
don't simpson threads end up with sneed spam
II and V

>the Nightmare on Elm Street parody
this segment was 10/10
>don't touch -willie
>good advise
>the 13th hour, of the 13th day, of the 13th month.
>we were meeting to discuss the misprinted calendars the school had purchased
lousy smarch weather
90s Halloween must have been really comfy.

>Marathoning these you can pinpoint the exact season the show went to shit
5 for me. I don't know why but the final joke of Time and Punishment was the hardest I laughed at any Simpsons gag.
