Red Hood, not even a contest. Look at this suave motherfricker.

His backstory is the best, not breaking to insanity through sheer willpower

        >He has a different face than the bad counterpart
Was that on purpose or did they not have the design finalized?

His face hasn't been corrupted by evil.

The final design's head wouldn't fit in the hood.

Joker as a crime fighting hero goes extremely hard, too bad we only saw him once in Brave and the Bold.

Easy win for the hood, and the bits of him cracking off an on were great.

Lukewarm take but good guy!Joker shouldn't be a clown, the clown aesthetic only works if Joker is a bad guy.

Clowns always get a bad rap. It's nice whenever they actually are good guys. I still like the Red Hood version however.

I'm not saying clown superhero is a bad idea but it doesn't work for Joker if he's supposed to be a good guy.

Which is absolutely fricking hilarious because Superman's creator is israeli and modeled him after the concept of the hebrew golem.

He seems to be more based on the nazi/nietzchean concept of the super man. It's even in his name. And the vigalantee roots funny enough trace back to the kkk.

People with only a basic understanding of superman can probably see the nietzche/nazi and people who know what a vigilante is can probably see how it connects to the kkk if you show them earlier vigilante comics. But you would have to be told about the golem thing to even attempt to make an connection and even though it wouldn't hold very strong.

      He's a Jester, not a clown. It's a different act

I remember there was a lot of stuff Cinemaphile made about a Earth-3 type AU. Is there some repositery of such things? The White Manta stuff was pretty funny.

I think good Joker should be a Mexican with sombrero poncho and maracas and I have no reason or justification why

will say this what makes both takes on the Earth-3 concept work is that for the most part they only flip around the morality for the heroes & villains, they don't do that idiotic thing the comics keep trying to do of Earth-3 being a universe where everyone is just naturally an evil butthole

I had an idea for an Earth 3 Joker counterpart who fricks up Owlman's life by introducing chaotic and unpredictable kinks in anything he has planned.
Things like blowing up a bank where Owlman is moving money through, sinking a yacht that has some of his cohorts on it, etc
I would want his stunts to have that "comedic destruction" energy we're familiar with, just pointed at the bad guy this time
I also had the idea of him being a mime instead of a clown. Not sure why I like that but I do
I could picture him doing something like this against the crooked Mayor of Gotham

I wonder. Is Arkham Asylum or its equivalent in Earth-3 (or some similar wolrd) still horrible, or is it actually a relatively okay place to work in since all the patients are probably wrongly incarcerated?
