I don't understand these high school clique movies. Real high schools don't have them. You don't see cliques until you enter tech, academia, entertainment, politics, or some other high profile industry.
They used to be a thing but high school movies aren't meant to be realistic, they're often a scaled down version of a story that if featuring adults would have much higher stakes and often result in lawsuits or arrests.
