Why are his eyes so close together? What do you think his vision is like? Does it give him some kind of advantage when it comes to catching fast moving objects flying directly towards the center of his face?
Its why he's so attractive to women. Close eyes are a trademark of predatory animals. It allows him to pinpoint his prey directly ahead of him. Genetically speaking, if he were born in a hunter gatherer society, Ryan Gosling would be a top hunter in his tribe, and thus would have many wives and concubines. He would produce many litters of offspring.
I kind of hate this shot of the two of them. It's so posed. Like they're so happy to be the two of them there looking like that, like something out of an old movie. If it's meant to convey that their romance is hollow, I suppose the shot does a good job. But I really think the purpose was simple "we want teh tumblr audience"
The movie was okay but this shit is pure onions
Anyways. Last movie I saw was Oppenheimer, in 70mm, at the chinese theater in hollywood. Glorious.
The first 2/3 of the film is a snooze fest. The most decent scenes are in the trailer, even then you didn't see any reaction from anyone. But the ending of the film was surprisingly funny. The whole goat-human scene looks like a low budget porn parody of Scooby Doo. Not that it was the intention (or even merit) of the film, but at least it saved the night
BR2049 at a LASER IMAX, which is now shutdown due to Covid.
