What religions actually have a typical stereotypical version of hell, complete with demons and tortures, in their actual scripture and not just an amalgamation of different ideas from various creative works that took artistic license?

I avoided it as a kid cause it's all my brother did and I didn't want to end up that way. Now I'll partake with the missus on the weekend from time to time or by myself when I'm playing some Cyberpunk or watching some Blade Runner or Predator or something.
It's cus you have stuff on your life you have to deal with. If you get anxiety over biblical shit or existential thoughts it's cus your brain is trying to solve puzzles that really have no answers. Whenever you get that anxiety just take a deep breath and hold it in and release it slowly and remind yourself that you only know what you know and you have to admit that you don't have proof or answers to the big questions you may have in life. Remember to step back and just let that weight or pressure fall off your shoulders and remember your high bad high will pass and later you'll think "why was I so bothered? I don't get it"
thanks dude, i know how to handle the anxiety but that doesn't mean I am going to be able to enjoy getting high again. I agree its normally about something that "needs" to be dealt with, but there is always something in life that needs to be dealt with for everyone. The words you are saying right now make it seem like anyone who is able to enjoy getting high has no ability to introspect or they are absolutely perfect upon introspection.

i think it would be best for me to go back to the early times where I was sharing a bowl among many and only getting a solid hit or two. My last experience was me smoking an entire bowl to myself after not smoking for years and I ended up laying down with spins telling myself how the racing thoughts will pass, i need to change this that or the other in my life, etc.
overall it isn't that important to me so I doubt I will partake for another 10 years or something along those lines.
The thing is that the lower IQ you are the better high you will have with weed. It's that simple. I used to have those big panic attacks, even one time literally passing out and waking up on the floor. After a while I basically started dosing less and less weed. One or two puffs from a joint. 5mg gummy. A few vape hits. In college I could rip bongs all day and eat a shit ton of edibles but back then I was also more ignorant about life and the future, living in bubble.
Unless you're a zoomer, the weed you had in college was 99% black market indicas, which have far more of a body high than mental high. There's a good chance you're just getting stronger sativa influences in your weed now that are driving the paranoia.
College days was before dispensaries and it was just awesome stuff. Maybe some years after college it's when I would get anxiety, from indica, sativa, or hybrids. Eventually I just stuck to dry vaping and lower dosages of indica and the anxiety didn't happen anymore.
