Touch of Evil is pretty good, but iirc at times it feels old af because of the restrictions of Pedowood at the time, I need to rewatch. The atmosphere somehow reminds me of Sorcerer.
Touch of Evil is a bloated mess , a long wet Wellesian fart. Sorcerer is leagues above. And it's more entertaining.

Never watched Red, but I’ve seen the rest and I endured what was Orson Welles envisioned cut. It’s not a piece of shit but the weed madness is in full effect and it’s silly.

They are all proto-capeshit, except for Red which is of course the one filtering zoomies ITT
I like 3CR but it's not in the same league as those others.
Those other movies all have a "spookiness" to them.
They're more than the sum of their parts, possessed of their own life.
3CR is great craft and even some really intuitive aspects that make it "Art". But it doesn't have that extra dimension the others do. Possibly a memetic aspect. I dunno. 3CR is like a companion movie to The Double Life of Veronique. Together they're reaching for something really interesting in that the doppelganger theme crosses over between them and they reflect it themselves in their own similarities. But it would take some really clever YT Nerd (not me, I'm too lazy) to tie them together in a way that re-defines them as (in combo) a transcendent work of cinema like the others in the list.
What the frick is up with people shitting on Touch of Evil ITT. I think it's a straight up masterpiece and Welles' best film. Absolute mastery of noir.

I still have to see Three Colors Red. I have seen a single Kieślowski film - Camera Buff - it was pretty good.

Blue is the only one of the trilogy that's good, partly because of a godly soundtrack. White is a director's cuck fantasy and Red is so boring I can't remember a single thing about it.
