Lady and the Tramp
1994 The Lion King
There are other great ones but I think Lion King is the greatest children's movie ever made
what did you think of the live-action remake?
It wasn't live action. It was just a different kind of animation.
they still called it live-action, same as all the other new disney remakes
I know, I just think they're wrong. For all the "live action" put into the new little mermaid for example, what with all the movement, costumes, sets, and even characters being CGI, if THAT is "live action" then so is the original. I'd estimate the ratio of real:computer is pretty much the same between the two, being voice actors over cartoons or meat puppets in front of a green screen.
yeah I agree that it's moronic
I like Fritz the cat because it's all about shitting on libs/hippies.
WHO DO YOU THINK I AM? GERALDINE???
>The Secret of NIMH
>Heavy Metal
>Nimh
Absolutely based. That movie made me feel emotions I didn't know existed when I was 5.
Based.
Recently watched it in a movie theater but got scammed because it was the original version with most of the songs missing. Still a great cartoon.
For me, it's Akira. For 30 years I've had that song in my head
>KANEDAAAAA
>TESUOOOOO
he is literally me
Chicken Run
>wienerTAIL
Not my favorite but I went on a bit of a bakshi binge and watched this after ice and fire. What a whiplash
does Rango counts or are we talking hand-drawn? Because if so I'll go with The Iron Giant
Rango was surprisingly good.
>H.S. Thompson/Western/Chinatown
Three great flavors that taste great together.
>The Iron Giant
My man!
probably Akira.
not counting stop-motion:
Nausicaa
Feherlofia
Fantasia
Unico and the Island of Magic
Watership Down
The Incredibles, no doubt about it
Redline and Titan AE
Used to be End of Eva, but now my favorite is the Peanuts Christmas special.
If I have to pick only one, then the original Lion King. Hercules, The Incredibles, and The Prince of Egypt are also very good.
>The Road the El Dorado
>The Fox and the Hound
>Treasure Planet
Could watch those 3 every day and never get tired of them.
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade
(honorable mentions: Fantastic Planet, Watership Down)
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
James and the Giant Peach
Fantasia.
Bampire Huntah D my homies
