Far Into the Forest
We are one from lion king 2
Father and son from the Aladdin sequel
That JLH song in hunchback 2
Go the Distance with I'll make a man out of you being a close second. Also the two best movies imo
We are one and Not one of us are so underrated Disney songs despite everyone who knows them loving these tracks
be a man

he lives in you
BE PREPARED
This.
I remember watching the various versions on Youtube with my brother, Icelandic, German, Finnish and Korean ones we liked most.
Let it go
I did not know Disney was a songwriter.
Hellfire, Shiny not a fan of that one youtuber obsessed with it, and any of the muses songs
My Lullaby. Suzanne Pleshette's voice is heavenly.
Erika
Six year old me was blown away, even if I didn't fully understand it.
My dad once watched this movie and I turned to get his reaction to this scene.
His response was: "That guy just needs to jack off."
This movie isn't the best but it's full of bangers.
A lot of them competing for that spot for different reasons
Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride
Shiny
Be Prepared, Just Can't Wait To Be King
Why Should I Worry?
Do post-disney acquisition Muppets songs count? If so, Life's a Happy Song and The Interrogation Song are up there
Surface Pressure, What Else Can I Do
Digga Tunnah
Won't Say I'm In Love
But if I HAD to pick only one, it would probably be "Be Prepared."
>Shiny
Trash
how far ill go
Prince Ali
now in waifu form, but prince ali is the end all be all.
"He lives in you" or maybe "Under the sea"
Though I guess the first one might be cheating since it wasn't originally made for the movie.
Though when I listen to it now I can't help but feel like Max is one step away from telling Peej not to come to school tomorrow.
My list is pretty basic I think
Circle of Life
I Just Can't Wait to be King
Everybody Wants to Be A Cat
I'll Make a Man Out of You
Friend Like Me
Go the Distance
Zero to Hero
Let Me be Good to You
Barking at the Moon
Movin Right Along
Friend Like Me
Bells of Notre Dame
Friends on the Other Side
Poor Unfortunate Souls
He Lives in You
>movin right along
that was made years before they bought the muppets
Me in the right
>ARE YOU READY?
A girl worth fighting for.
Tangled (Both the movie and series) had some amazing songs
Savages!
He Lives In You
Strangers Like Me
Son Of Man
Savages
Just Around The River Bend
Hellfire
Both of Powerline's songs from Goofy Movie
Out There
How Far I'll Go
Also, the Videopolis Theme.
He Lives in You
Friend Like Me
>Happy Song
Prince Ali
>Villan Song
Hellfire
Be a man
The entire Encanto soundtrack fricking SLAPS and I am appalled it has taken this long to be mentioned.
Also Mirabel a cute.
Based. Tbh could do a secondary ranking of that movie's songs alone. In fact I think I will.
S
>We Don't Talk About Bruno
>Dos Oruguitas
>Surface Pressure
A
>What Else Can I Do
>Welcome To The Family Madrigal
>Colombia, Mi Encanto
B
>Waiting On A Miracle (actually fantastic but Mirabel doesn't have the pipes for it, ruins it with her nasal voice. if a Menzel or a Benson had this number it'd be S tier no question)
>All Of You
A testament to the quality of the OST that nothing slips below B.
>surface pressure
>s
grim. We Don't Talk About Bruno its excellent though
What's your issue with that song. It was one of the most commercially successful from the movie
That’s got nothing to do with one’s subjective opinion.
You're kidding, right? The only halfway good or even memorable song was "We dont talk about Bruno"
Comedically wrong.
NTA but most of the songs feel really inorganic to the rest of the film, as does a lot of different elements.
I liked the flower sister’s song the most, but overall I found most of them to be really unimpressive. I don’t like how many contemporary Disney songs feel more like music videos rather than musical performances personally, like that Pressure song does.
Doesn’t help that I don’t care for Lin-Manuel Miranda.
>Doesn’t help that I don’t care for Lin-Manuel Miranda.
And you've identified the issue. Too many of their songs (or ones aping that style like in Wish) is that they are just over-produced. The best Disney songs are ones that are fairly straight forward, with clear lyrics, and fit organically into the movie. But so many of these modern Disney songs just become muddy overblown messes with nothing memorable about them.
Only Bruno is good and they literally just stole it from a Paul Simon song
UNDER THE SEA
Out There in Swedish https://youtu.be/u670WPNskOM?si=e-XH9ytBKHuvyktK
>Hercules - Zero to Hero
>Hercules - Go The Distance
>Hercules - A star is born
>Mulan - I'll Make A Man Out Of You
>Aladdin - Prince Ali
>Aladdin - Friend Like Me
>Pocahontas - Savages
>The Lion King - Be Prepared
>Oliver and Company - Why Should I Worry.
>A Goofy Movie - Eye-To-Eye
>Treasure Planet - i'm still here
I Wonder from Sleeping Beauty because Yma Sumac sang it:
There's multiple songs that really are fantastic but personally I'd have to say Be Prepared.
Scar and the Hyenas really just lay it on.
Maybe Cabin fever

Or Professional Pirate

Honestly I like the Muppet Treasure Island songs more then the Muppet Christmas Carol songs
Marley and Marley was pretty fricking metal though.
>"Your future is a horror story, written by your crimes."
>"Your chains are forged, by what you say and do."
>"So have your fun, when life is done, a nightmare waits for you!"
Dark as frick for a Muppets film, but it was great.
And it ends on one of the most joyful songs, Thankful Heart, which is a near perfect way to cap off the story.
For Classics
For Cuts
For Modern
>The Aristocats - Everybody Wants to Be a Cat
>Oliver & Company - Good Company
>Tarzan - Two Worlds
>The Fox and the Hound - Best of Friends
>The Lion King - I Just Can’t Wait to Be King
>The Rescuers - Tomorrow is Another Day
>The Jungle Book - Bare Necessities
>The Sword in the Stone - Higitus Figitus
>Brother Bear - On My Way
>Bambi - Love Is a Song
So many, many more sweet and great favorite Disney songs to list out in so many different languages, but went with list these ones currently.
Alice in Wonderland - In a World of My Own
Shame it's such a short song
Part of Your World (Disney Speedstorm remix)
Be Prepared
Playing With the Big Boys
Hellfire
Friends on the Other Side
>chooses a song from a dreamworks movie
>chooses the worst one
but fr prince of egypt has some fricking bangers
>I SEND MY SCOURGE I SEND MY SWARM
The plagues musical number was metal as frick.
Prince Charmless from Anastasia

Your own pick
You'll Be In My Heart
Strangers Like Me
Yes, Tarzan and Hercules were the best Disney movies. Fox and the Hound and Oliver's Company were nice too
You know it.
Good but I prefer After today and Eye to Eye
EASILY Hellfire/Infernal/In Agni/Fuoco d'Inferno/Fogo do Inferno/Feuer der Holle
Listen to this song in every single language possible and tell me its not a banger. Even in Japanese this thing slaps
Bells of Notre Dame
What’s your favorite Disney song in your native language dubbing?
Wrong link
I think it's hard to beat The Circle Of Life. It's beautiful, memorable, and is one of the best opening scenes of a movie ever. It just instantly wows you and gets you straight into the world. Seeing it in theaters is really something special.
As an amateur vocalist here are my favorites to sing
>Out there
>Gospel truth
>Perfect isnt easy
>Once upon a dream
Also it isn't TECHNICALLY disney but since they acquired Fox I'm mentioning Once upon a December
I genuinely think Colors of the Wind and Just Around the Riverbend are two of the best Disney songs, does no ever talk about them because it's cool to hate Pocahontas?
No one actually hates Pocahontas, there's just some midwits who like to pretend to be smart by repeating the "It's just dances with wolves" shit.
Disney however just kind of ignores it, presumably because they don't want to get into conversations about Indians and shit.
>presumably because they don't want to get into conversations about Indians and shit
Funny how the racist governor who wants to genocide all the injuns was IRL actually a meek naive guy who got betrayed by the injuns and tortured to death.
Well yeah that's kind of the point, there's huge inaccuracies and concerns on both sides so better to not get into it and from here on just make all your movies about funny animals and not real people.
On mute
>Be a man
We must be swift as the coursing river
>Be a man
With all the force of a great typhoon
>Be a man
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon
I think that's my favorite song from the movie, but my favorite song actually during the movie is A Girl Worth Fighting For just for the insane whiplash that comes right at the end of it.
Perfect Isn't Easy
Why did a dog need to be so sexy?
