Yup Ashes to Ashes is great. I think Life on Mars was probably better overall but Life on Mars was still great. https://youtu.be/Kk0ioIvpjb4

I didn't watch Ashes to Ashes when it launched because I was seething about John Simms character not being involved.

Watched it a few years later and realised I missed out. Shit is good and the MC is a qt milf.

I agree that Life on Mars is better though.

Well what I meant was it was cancelled before it even started. It was in talks but never got to filming.

There wasnt much said about it. They just said Sam was going to be back and that parts of it where going to be set between Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes and parts were going to be current year and I think something about it involving someone doing a documentary on Sam.

      wahey that's my post
      I feel honoured
It's not even a fricking joke right the fish would be white hot out of the fryer and the ink would delaminate off the paper and transfer onto the fish. It would be tightly wrapped up and you'd carry it home, and by the time you got home the ink had baked onto the fish. You could gen read the fish. I found out that Dubya (George W. Bush) was getting lambasted for "we're goin onna crusade" from my fish.
The Sun used to print girlies on page 3 with their chebs out. Used to be 15 years and 11 month olds fully clothed with the caption "next month we can show you the real deal!"
Seems like ancient history now. I briefly worked in a strip joint and we had a 17 year old who could dance but not serve behind the bar. We're a weird country.

    Goodnight Sweetheart
    Allo, Allo
    Dad's Army

All great comedies set in World War 2.

Goodnight Sweetheart is especially edge as it's about a bigamist time traveller who finds his lifestyle by getting his friend in the 1990s to forge cash he can use in WW2 and selling stuff he picked up in WW2 with the cash as mint condition antiques in the 90s. His modern day wife treats him like shite so you end up rooting for the bigamist too.
