This crap really is the best "cheese" for a grilled cheese. I've made so many with authentic chedder, colby jack, munster etc and none of them melt perfectly like Kraft singles.
Velveeta singles are even better
I like to make grilled cheese. It’s very relaxing.
Coat it in egg. Like you're making French Toast. After you've already toasted it of course. Wouldn't be much of a grilled cheese if the bread wasn't toasted. Thank me later.

This may sound fricking crazy or gross if you've never done it before, but instead of butter for your grilled cheese, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bread instead. Obviously still use butter for the pan, though. Sandwich comes out light and fluffy while still crunchy and crispy all at the same time.
I like my grilled cheese with copious amounts of sliced dill pickles.
For me it's a nice stack of cheddar, provolone and swiss.
I will try this out once and let you know in about a month.
