Beautiful film. Probably the one most likely to make me cry on every watch, either because a sad scene calls for it or due to the sheer music and aesthetic. I'm pretty sure Fox and the Hound was one of my comfort movies as a kid, alongside Incredibles and Curious George.

Todd is the most handsome fox here but doesn't get anywhere near as much fanart as the others because he isn't a full anthro

Keith Coogan, the voice of Young Tod, and grandchild of Jackie Coogan (Uncle Fester) married a disgusting pig of a woman I used to know named Pinky. She used to sleep with Dustin Diamond and had a personalized shirt that said "I f**ked Screech" that she'd wear around. I'm not sure if she gave Screech the herp or the other way around, but when she hooked up with Keith I haven't been able to rewatch this film without being disgusted. Doesn't help that Corey Feldman turned out to be such a freak too.

The lady having to give the fox away, the themes of the passage of time and losing your friends and all that makes me really sad so now i avoid it because I'm too sentimental these days.

This was apparently my favorite movie as a young child (like 5-6 years old). On a completely unrelated note, I can't remember the last time I was truly happy, but it's definitely been at least twenty years.

Such a sad, beautiful movie. I liked that Copper's owner wasn't explicitly portrayed as a bad guy, just a normal man who had to protect his farm. I should watch it again, it's been a long time.
