The Replacement GoldFish clone was fricked up
What?
She was replaced by a clone
Can't explain the context until you've seen Season 3. It's a big spoiler.
I've seen season 3 I just don't what goldfishes have to do with anything
No one had that problem when Optimus Prime came back multiple times, why with her did?
Optimus is an ancient war machine, Anne is just an innocent child.
>innocent
She knows what she did
Characters are good, but I wish Sasha and Marcy got more POV episodes. Episodes are good overall, except for the human episodes of seasons 3A
I like it more than Owl House, but Owl House is has a more comfy vibe to it.
only watched the first three episodes so far. seems alright
It's a good show. Anne is cute.
Is all the dykery just part of the fandom, or is it actually in the show?
Mostly the fandom one of the girls is confirmed Bi though
How relevant is it?
A sticker on her car for 3 sec. That said there is a lot of filthy hand holding.
There's nothing filthy about it. Yuri love is pure and wholesome.
The shippers were unsatisfied so that should tell you enough.
There are two lesbian background couples but that's it.
tl:dr
Great characters
Interesting setting
Meh story
Couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be a comedy show or an action show too late into its production
Though there are flaws that can't be explained away by network interference alone, it felt more like they didn't want to get Owl House'd so they focused on more comedic and episodic segments to stay on Disney's good side.
hate the clone stuff, but it was serviceable.
It was an amazing study in autism
>Anne Dies And Doesn't Come Back
Each season has more problems than the last and the finale is a self-indulgent clusterfrick. Still it's actually the best serialized cartoon in recent years because most of the others are trainwrecks.
Well pretty much here what I wrote here
To add to this complaint list it made me realize that Sprig had hardly any character development as opposed to Hop Pop or even fricking Polly. I think his attachment /friendship / loyalty to Anne grew way too fast. It made him a bit dull? Gary Stu? I dunno, something doesn't sit right with Sprig character, the more I think about it.
Sprig and Anne should've had to work more for their friendship to drive home the difference between their relationship and the friendship Anne was used to back home. Not asking for angst or anything, but Sprig was said to have not had a friend before Anne (at least before the writers changed their mind and Ivy appeared.) I'm sure there's a lot to work with there
I think season 1 is honestly pretty boring. I don't think the episodes are that interesting or the comedy that funny with exceptions of course. I kept watching because a friend recommended it to me. It gets a lot better in season 2 imo and had me hooked pretty quickly. Season 3a isn't as bad as a lot of anons say and the episodes by themselves are fun. I actually enjoyed season 3a than season 1 a lot of the time. The issue is that it makes the story hit a brick wall and wastes time that could have been used to build up to the finale. Season 3b is solid except for the ending. I don't care for the finale, not because of shipping bullshit, but because I think it has horrible pacing problems that sucks the dramatic weight out of every scene. Plus, I don't like the other crap the finale does, like the deus ex power-up or the perfect copy shit. If the finale was as long as All In I'd enjoy it despite these flaws. Overall I'd give the show a 7/10 despite its major hiccups
It should have spent maybe half as many episodes on Earth as it did and could stand to cut out the crappy Earthside secondary cast as well. With the excepton of Anne's parents they're trash.
It was okay, but the usual suspects are ignoring what streinghts it had and just keep posting about feels and relationships so thats what it will be remembered for.
I think the main highlight of the show is the characters. The frogs are goofy and fun, David as Andrias was great, and you really care for Anne and the plantars (and the girls). Usually in most shows there’s that one annoying character in the main cast but in Amphibia I never really hated anyone or found someone annoying. I thought Polly was going to be that character but she doesn’t really pop in as much and I liked a few of her episodes.
I think it was a good show. I do have a bit of complaints but overall it was a 7/10 show for me.
Wish the Core had much more thought put into it
>muh past
>muh future
muh "control freak" parallel with Sasha
on what?
Started watching it today and its so chill, I don't even want the plot to appear.
