This. Too often the writer buys John's hype of himself and it spoils the joke.
I think it's because John was written by a lot of 2000AD alum's, and stuff like Judge Dredd is often played straight to its detriment in adaptations and IDW stuff.
He's a dog dick licking knot-takers that homosexuals hype into the moon. If he were more popular the c**t'd get wanked like Batman and be just as fricking gay.
Hellblazer was good with Jamie Delano and then it peaked with Garth Ennis. After that it just felt it got kinda samey, and it wasn't as exciting as how Ennis portrayed it overall.
Constantine is an amazing character only if the story he's in is well written. I thought that there's potential for truly kino arcs that even /misc/ would've liked with the setting involving freemasons and government satanists
its funny to think the keanu reeves movie is just spooky capeshit
Constantine rhymes with time.
shudve staid ded the furst tyme
He's an unlikable degenerate homosexual.
Utter bastard.
My favourite comic character.
Dangerous habits one of the best things to ever come out of American comics
Most overrated Hellblazer arc ever
He's a total loser, and trying to make him seem cool only makes him lame.

Spurrier's run was great, glad he's coming back to do more
Think they can keep from cancelling halfway through his story this time?

It peaked with Delano. Ennis' atheism robs it of its supernatural aspect.
c**t
Hellblazer should have ended with the end of the Thatcher government or at the very least 1999.
I enjoyed Carey's run very much. I thought that Azz had some interesting ideas but wasn't good overall.
