Because you were abandoned by your mom when you were young. You know 19 yo bimbo’s with daddy issues who hook up with like a 40 yo? You’re the male version of that.
Older women are mostly a meme, especially if they haven't had kids and they're over 25. That being said I could fix Mogheiden or however the frick her name is spelled.
milf (with kids) popped my cherry at 18 and i am forever hooked
You never heard of a beserker before? People like it when characters lose control and do something daring. Something reckless. It's cool when Vikings do it. But not cool when Rand does it?
>Did a pajeet direct this?
A pajeet would have been an improvement. >Every use of the power is a highly choreographed dance number with large amounts of people dressed in the colors of the various elements. Men channel men and women channel women. The best dance numbers involve both.
Already better then Rafinor.
Did Elayne have some Bi tendencies in the books like she does in the show? She comes across to me as a textbook Lipstick Lezzie. She is always noticing other womens' bosoms too.
the original dead author's style is like 90% bosom related when women are in a scene. there's probably a counter of it somewhere on the internet, it is big. he was a really shitty writer that only ever wrote battles well.
that being said i think morraine was explicitly lez. every other aes sedai was like 100% implied lesbian but rand-sexual.
man it must suck not being able to write women or battles better then this guy >t~ you. Right now.
Morraine is not a lesbian, the aes sedai are basically 'culted' for upwards of a decade with no men at the age of puberty. There's a bit of rug munching and a lot of dry humping but aes sedai are not notably gay.
idk if i can write better, i havent been able to read a fiction book since about the peak of WoT. all the shitty fantasy literature around that time just broke me. i dont remember much about the books either, except crossing of arms under bosoms and some pretty great fights.
Yeah, its true. It's hard to write decent (let alone good) battle scenes. I really was hoping they could do some cgi VOODOO and give us a good looking fight scene in wot but rafe doesn't appreciate the finer things in life.
I think if was going to do a cinematic wot it would just be Tarmon Gaiden. Start with the charge of the children of the light, show mat losing on the plains, show Lan's battle against Demondred >cut to rand cut and bleeding, going into the maw, Show his scenes >Cut to him telling everyone as long as they keep faith they'll succeed. Cut to Children of the light breaking Trolluc ranks, Matt routing Sharans, Lan Defeating Demondred. Rand smiling before falling into Nynaeves and moraines hands dead (or close enough) but victorious. End movie.
>that being said i think morraine was explicitly lez
Wrong. Stop thinking the people making the show know anything about the characters. The very first scene she has with the woman who the show tries to make into her lover was about them reminiscing about how they used to fantasize about the handsome men they wanted to bang and she later gets married to Thom.

The honest answer is no. But she loved another woman like a sister so much so that they underwent a ceremony to adopt each other as sisters, and morons have been saying for years that this means they are lesbian-coded, because they believe it's completely impossible for two people to love each other platonically.
I am both jealous and feel bad for guys who prefer old women. You have so many more options of women who would date you but you also are mostly into old farts

I just began my re-read of The Great hunt.(book 2) In it, Lan says that he can turn Rand into a blade master in 5 years. But we all know if doesn't take Rand 5 years to become a blade master. Why is that?
No, he says that as a positive. He follows up the statement with "you have good reflexes, and you never make a mistake twice. If anything, it was a optimistic estimation. Perhaps it would take someone with less raw talent more than 5 years.
most people never get even close to becoming blademasters. but if it's an estimate that's worse than the real outcome it has to be considered pessimistic, or at best uninformed.
No, he says that as a positive. He follows up the statement with "you have good reflexes, and you never make a mistake twice. If anything, it was a optimistic estimation. Perhaps it would take someone with less raw talent more than 5 years.
>and rand is a talent without peer
I missed that last part. That sounds kind of Mary Sue-y to me.
most people never get even close to becoming blademasters. but if it's an estimate that's worse than the real outcome it has to be considered pessimistic, or at best uninformed.
Every character who knows anything about swords in the series remarks on Rand's young age. They can hardly believe someone is so young carrying a heron mark blade. So by multiple sources, we can deduce that on average it takes more years than any random 19yo has lived.
Lan's estimation is not pessimistic, it's rather optimistic. Because any kid brought up in Sheinar would be carrying a blade at a young age. Or any child born to a military family, or a noble house. They would all start learning weapons when they were young. Starting before Rand, and then ending up a blade master after Rand's age. Just saying on average. Lan is not uninformed or pessimistic. Rand just defies all known limitations, and learns the sword at an inhumanly fast pace.
Rand is not a Mary Sue, since everyone hates him and is afraid of him. He is a reborn demigod with superhuman powers though. That much is clear from the middle of book 1
I just got to this part and apparently that one anon who said he was an assistant in the production and said there was a scene where slaves were carrying a "pyramid" was legit.
>never got past 7 ish
Because you never read any of them.
Everyone here is a book reader. What casual TV watcher is going to stomach the show? Not only that, what casual TV watcher will bother posting about the show?
i watched season 1 and could barely get through it, only because i read the books as a kid
season 2 is good though, its corny as frick and overly dramatic at points but the story beats work and the villians are pretty great
i think the main problem with season 1 was the lack of forsaken plot
>Exactly like the books.
You'll come to understand that /WoT/ generals on Cinemaphile are not for book fans. It isn't going to be today, and probably not tomorrow, but this series is going 5 or more seasons, guaranteed. Do you book-lovers really think you'll have the energy to continue to whine, cry, and moan about changes that nobody cares about (even fans - on every other site except for this one) every single thread? why? i can enjoy the show for what it is, the books are teen/young adult fantasy schlock i didnt expect it be high quality
i'd say season 1 is 3/10 and season 2 is clearly above average
i dont understand how anyone who hasnt read the books find enjoyment out of this though
this is one of the worst shows ive ever watched
acting, pacing, plot, special effects, fashion, etc. i feel really bad for people that are fans of the source material. im genuinely shocked at how bad Amazon is with the majority of shit it produces.

yea one big satisfaction from the books is reading how rand puts them all in in their place

Do you not remember the time rand gets captured in the woods outside cairhien after lanfear genocides 6 gorillion cairhienen at Rands behest? Then siuan shields him by himself because the White tower needs to keep the dragon reborn in a box, because she, in her 25 year quest to save and protect him, and prepare the world for the coming of the dragon, knows the best way to do that is to keep him shielded in tar valon. The show is Grrl Power, but the books make it a point that while the women have been running things since Lews Therin's Frickup, everything is slowly going to pot and they're barely holding it together without Men able to Weave, not because they're just flat out better, but because Men and Women are supposed to work together.

For me it was watching Maksim encourage lan while he was moping. Every time he isn't on screen, I ask, where's Maksim? He should have access to a time machine too
Yeah. I'm not totally sure, but I got the idea that perhaps the show is giving Elaida's plot to Siuan. And Siuan's plot to Moiraine. But then at the end, Moiraine got her powers back, and I think Siuan got stilled? It's hard to say exactly. But Lanfear calls Siuan "broken", which could imply stilling. Or maybe she just means emotionally broken.
>emotionally broken
from what i understood it was because her relationship with moiraine was permanently damanged
pretty sure siuan would lose her seat if she was stilled
Oh BROTHER.
If you didn't like the show before, this latest episode will make you apoplectic. There are so many crazy inaccuracies. I don't even know what's happening anymore. We're waaaaay off script now.
I like Mat's new actor better than the old one. But I don't like Mat's show character better than the book one.
Show Mat is being way too compliant. He gets knocked out, and then teleported to another city and held captive. This should tell Mat that the one power has been used on him. He wouldn't like that.
Then, Ishamael comes in, and starts blabbing about "in my time we had better technology, blah blah, I can't sleep, anyway drink this magical tea". Right now, Mat's one power and foresaken senses should be tingling hard core. But he agrees to drink the tea and has a bad trip. Is he fricking nuts?
daily reminder that Mat is canonically BLACK >WE WUZ KAINGZ AND SHEEEEEIT! >GOT LYNCHED >shuckin and jiving >always inna club >gittin turnt up >poppin fresh tags errydey >GOT LYNCHED >flashy "magic" israeliteelry >married a deformed woman for money >one step ahead of hte hangman >GOT LYNCHED >had a latina milf sugarmomma >stealing shit >LITERAL GANG LORD >MASS MURDERER >CANONICAL SPEARCHUCKER >stabs people with knives he hides on himself >always shootin dice >GOT LYNCHED >drunk all the time >has a "manservant" >fricking b***hes at bars >very poor vocabulary made up of grunts, threats, and curses. >GOT LYNCHED >will kill you over his hat
The only real positive in the episode is more of the autistic Sul'dam. I can't tell if she's stilted because of bad acting, or if she's doing it on purpose, or maybe a bit of both. But however she's pulling it off, it's convincing me that she's a batshit insane autist, obsessed with her plaything.
Alright, this one is just silly.
So Lan goes to gentled Logain to ask him what he saw on Moiraine. Logain resists at first, but Lan tempts the information out of him. Logain tells Lan that he saw a tight weave of a thousand strands all knotted up in Moiraine's chest. Turns out, Moiraine wasn't stilled after all. She's just been closed off this whole time.
So Lan catches up to Moiraine and Rand, who are actively in the middle of escaping prison btw. And he informs Moiraine about a the weave on her, and says it's a skill from ancient legends. A power of the foresaken. To tie off weaves and leave them in place. Kind of weird that Lan knows that, and he has to tell Moiraine.
And then Moiraine is like "it can be removed". And then Lan is like "You're not skilled enough to untie it. You have to cut it". Kind of weird that Lan know that too, and he's correcting Moiraine.
Rand then proceeds to channel a knife, and cuts the knot without issue. This is rather strange too, considering that just earlier Siuan was lecturing Rand and Moiraine on how little Rand knows about channeling. But he can just pull up a knife a precision cut around Moiraine's link to the source without severing her.
>For me it was when siuan tried to capture rand
"Tried"? She did capture him. With ease.
>Or maybe when rand asked lanfear to kill a bunch of people
He didn't ask for that. Though, admittedly, he shouldn't have trusted her not to kill people. But hypothetically, should could have done it without killing anyone. She just felt like killing.
>Why didn't this woman who sold her soul to the devil for power while shoveling starving orphans into demons mouths after nuking the cities their parents lived in not kill a bunch of people????
Guy is a fricking moron what the shit, they've even already established the Forsaken as quasi religious demons
why isn't this aviendha
why does rafe keep adding pointless scenes for his gay boyfriend the warder
at least lanfear is carrying rand away from boredom and into greatness

Meh. I don't care. I envisioned her as Asian the whole book anyway. Don't care, they introduced her has Min, I created my image of her of that. Can't change it later. If he wanted a white sounding name, he should have gone with El.

No, I'm not wrong. Eye of the World. Chapter 15. Min introduces herself to Rand. She's described as a cropped haired young woman. Rand estimates she's a little older than him. With dark eyes even bigger than egwenes.(and egwene's eyes are already big)
Earlier, in Chapter 14, Rand sees Min at a distances. That's when he notes her hair is dark, and her figure slender.
So upon first meeting Min, we learn she has dark hair, dark eyes, a slender build, and the name Min. The one thing that doesn't sound asian, is her abnormally large eyes. Which are larger than Egwene's already large eyes.
My re-read is already paying off. I didn't memorize exactly which chapter. But I remembered reading a description in the first book, and then searched it up on the epub, using a keyword search.

Also, it's not true. Events were happening so quickly, that Rand didn't have time to have a mental breakdown. What the frick do you want? For Rand to collapse in the middle of his escape and start blubbering over the loss of life. Like >"I... I can't go on. >"Collapses onto a cart >"Lanfear, she... she killed so many. She hurt so many. She burned down their homes. " >Rolls on his back, and covers his face with his arm. >"And it's my fault. If I didn't ask her... If I wasn't so STUPID" >Bashes his fist on the cart >Moiraine: "Rand, your pain has touched this cold heart of mine. Let us set our escape aside, and mourn the lost. Bury the dead. But explain to me why he asked the devil worshipping lunatic who routinely eats children for help. The only explanation that isn't fricking moronic is that Rand, knowing their mythological figures because everyone in the universe knows who the Forsaken are and what they did, is because he knew she was the devils right hand man and knew she didn't have a problem exploding heads and setting children on fire. Meaning book 2 rand has no problem killing thousands of innocent families to achieve his goals

>But explain to me why he asked the devil worshipping lunatic who routinely eats children for help.
Bad writing. Rand got desperate. He sought help. There's still the possibility that he's playing 4D chess. As in Episode 5, Moiraine and Rand devised a plan to use Lanfear in order to learn of Ishamael's plans. Rand was to get close to Lanfear. Rand had doubts that he be able to convince Lanfear he was still interested in her. But maybe Rand is a better actor than he thought. He pretends to cut ties with Moiraine at Lanfear's request. He successfully fools Moiraine. She thinks she lost control of the guy, and begins to spiral. Lanfear seeing this, would be pleased. Then, later, when he's in need, he plays the desperate inexperienced fool that relies on her. Because that's how she sees him. Then he may be able to pull of the plan yet. Get close enough to her, in order to figure out what Ishamael is planning.
Of course, I have my doubts about that. But who knows. Maybe.

Truly what robert jordan would have wanted. What he would have written, even, if he were still alive.
Do you guys think Rafe really has it in him to carry this show all the way to the end? Say Amazon doesn't cancel it after season 3. Say Amazon continues to throw its endless money supply at this show. Do you really think Rafe would dedicate all of his time to it? I just can't imagine it. I predict he will find a way to weasel out before it's done.
no but if he handed it off to someone else it would probably be an improvement. putting his boyfriend into the show then inventing irrelevant scenes to feature him narcissistically looking at his own reflection sure is great television
also can't wait for moiraine to die so rosamund pike can stop forcing her own OC bullshit in. she clearly wanted to do a lesbo role and also to act being stilled/shielded
left to right
bain avi chiad
rafe is a gay homosexual moron
what a shame gaul doesn't exist in this show, he'd love that chiad
Oh the white warder is Rafe's boyfriend? I did find his scenes odd this episode. That explains that.
Moiraine won't simply vanish. She will have adventures in the other dimension. And she will find a way to affect the world through the other dimension. These scenes will take at least 12 minutes of screen time every episode.
what could it possibly mean? i'm sure nobody could ever figure it out based on experimentation from the name alone.. it's so mysterious and hard to decipher!
I dont understand this show why the fricking is lann just hanging around as women are talking? HE IS THE PROTAGONIST, HES LITERALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THAT UNIVERSE.
if ishamael wants to die so badly why doesn't he ask lanfear or one of the other forsaken to balefire him out of existence
why doesn't he balefire himself
yeah i guess it can't destroy you utterly otherwise it'd mess up the cyclical nature of the universe. i suppose it's more like being put in time out for a long time
Correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't everyone fighting during that event? The narrative focuses on Rand mainly. But everyone was battling, right? Why wouldn't Egwene nuke some ships?
i really have no idea how they'll do rand vs ishamael in the sky without it looking goofy as frick so SURELY it'll just be their powers colliding in the sky or something
I honestly can't believe they cast her. I thought egwene's actress was really pretty but ceara's looks are like an orbital ionic mog cannon against the rest of the cast. Like it's distracting when she's onscreen.
>Why would you be here if you didn't enjoy it?
because i find enjoyment in seeing how badly they can frick up and how much screen time they can waste on gay warders crying
You don't understand. They turned away Nyneaves old wisdom because she was poor! Not because she was too weak or a wilder or anything like that. She had ratty clothes!

it's incredible how badly they undermined the fear you're meant to have of trollocs and myrddraal at this stage in the story because they had to put in an epic woman moment
Remember the trolloc human pyramid they used to scale the walls

Its just me of White Tower and Ajah are quite badly designed/presented? Book Ajah are like: >red, menhaters, subdue male channellers >green, combat oriented >yellow, healing >white, logic and no emotion >brown, research >blue, justice, heh >grey( always forget about them), diplomacy
Like I was thinking about it and had some serious pondering. into their doctrines and functions. >Yellow, healing sure but also traveling around healing plebs, supervising local wisdom/wise women/etc, mostly lower classes, plenty of wilders, mostly outside towers >Blue, noble/aristocratic Ajah, connections with their noble houses and thus diplomacy and presence on royal and noble courts, 2nd outside Ajah in opposition to the yellow >White, teaching Ajah, handle fresh blood, teaching/discipline, academics, future focus >Brown, research Ajah, pretty much the same but focused on history and old artifacts, past focus >Green, combat Ajah, focus on power and quality wardens(non expendable), strong presence in borderlands >Red, military police Ajah(justicars/inquisitors), subduing false dragons, darkfriend etc, many older EXPENDABLE wardens - its big twist here because when they are still manhaters they use bond to control men and make them safe, they also handle more situations in human countries and need trusted men to be their shield, could be that weaker red bond more wardens to compensate lack of power, they would also prefer already experienced/older men as they are better tools(and easier to replace), strong presence in borderlands(main source of recruits) >grey, sworn directly to the Throne(not amarilyn personally), function as administrative Ajah and the one that mediate between other Ajah
thoughts?
At least they have giant ring pops and power ranger uniforms so we can tell they're red

why is she so sex though?
She maxed out her mommy stat.
i thought i was the only one who thought meera syal was hot
Because you were abandoned by your mom when you were young. You know 19 yo bimbo’s with daddy issues who hook up with like a 40 yo? You’re the male version of that.
take meds, schitzo
milf (with kids) popped my cherry at 18 and i am forever hooked
Should have given her a couple more.
What if you'd do both the 19yo and the milf?
>unironically believing in your own memes
ngmi
get some self respect
because she's a woman? I know we larp as only liking teenagers, but wouldn't you sleep with most women given a chance?
Are you being naughty sar?
You never heard of a beserker before? People like it when characters lose control and do something daring. Something reckless. It's cool when Vikings do it. But not cool when Rand does it?
If you squint it looks like this guy has 2 extremely long arms.
Shit, my thread is going to die, because I didn't start it with a screenshot with bait.
I literally have never seen this television series I'm just here to SEXO post
This thread actually isn't about a television series. That's only a front
i read the books so theres zero chance i'll ever watch it
Blood and bloody ashes.
>Blood and bloody ashes.
Mother's Milk.
Moggy needs a spanking.
Mindy Kaling look ruff
>this is the ageless aes sedai we've been telling you about
Um, men bros?
Did a pajeet direct this?
>Did a pajeet direct this?
A pajeet would have been an improvement.
>Every use of the power is a highly choreographed dance number with large amounts of people dressed in the colors of the various elements. Men channel men and women channel women. The best dance numbers involve both.
Already better then Rafinor.
>cleansing of saidin as a massive duet over battle
kino
Okay I've been laughing at my own joke for 10 mins here but just imagine.
TUNAK TUNAK TUNAK BALEFIRE!
>dumai's wells
ok, now I'm laughing. You fricking got me.
>and somehow actually whiter then the show
Pajeet bros, we need to make this happen.
>White person produces bad work
>Still find a way to twist the scenario into insulting Indian people.
is she pregnant?
Not only is she pregnant, but she is in labor!
oh no not here in this broken elevator! I can't look at womans vegana! THAT'S GROSS! AND I WILL FAINT BECAUSE IM A LOSER!
Did Elayne have some Bi tendencies in the books like she does in the show? She comes across to me as a textbook Lipstick Lezzie. She is always noticing other womens' bosoms too.
the original dead author's style is like 90% bosom related when women are in a scene. there's probably a counter of it somewhere on the internet, it is big. he was a really shitty writer that only ever wrote battles well.
that being said i think morraine was explicitly lez. every other aes sedai was like 100% implied lesbian but rand-sexual.
man it must suck not being able to write women or battles better then this guy
>t~ you.
You can't tell me you've also forgot the smoothing of skirts and the tugging of braids.
i actually did forget the braids. and now it's back. thanks jackass.
It's Nynaeve so it's like cute b***hy Tsundere braids.
Start with the charge of the children of the light, show mat losing on the plains, show Lan's battle against Demondred
>cut to rand cut and bleeding, going into the maw, Show his scenes
>Cut to him telling everyone as long as they keep faith they'll succeed.
The very first scene she has with the woman who the show tries to make into her lover was about them reminiscing about how they used to fantasize about the handsome men they wanted to bang and she later gets married to Thom.
i've never seen any of the show
And apparently never read any of the books either.
i wish i had read less of the books with every second of my life, yeah. never got past 7 ish
>never got past 7 ish
Because you never read any of them.
its been almost 30 years and they really fricking sucked anon
You were not alive 30 years ago.
i was reading all the garbage fantasy shit in the 90s. terry goodkind was really gross. was in line at fricking book stores when harry potter and that garbage as it released too.
im reading terry goodrape now and i like it
its terribly mediocre but i like his pg-13 focus on rape
lots and lots of rape, but yeah at some point i realized all these old nasty fantasy authors were just indirectly jerking off into my face.
no one asked
Imagine being as old as this guy is pretending to be and STILL being on Cinemaphile. What a sad life.
i am old enough to have had a life before Cinemaphile existed but then i fricked it all up and now here i am
I'm 38 and the internet ruined my life.
There is a hard demarcation in my life quality starting from the day I got home internet around the age 17.
31 here. Me too. I'm almost able to be a normie, people don't pick up on my neetdom for the first couple hours of interaction, but then it falls apart.
Moraine and Siuane did canonically lez out a few times but they both preferred men
Hopefully they both perish in S3

The honest answer is no. But she loved another woman like a sister so much so that they underwent a ceremony to adopt each other as sisters, and morons have been saying for years that this means they are lesbian-coded, because they believe it's completely impossible for two people to love each other platonically.
Oh frick Bros... Her veil is up! Repeat! Her veil is fricking up!
Looks like someone spelled ginger wrong again.
Black person hair is absolutely disgusting looking
>TFW no Pajeeta MILF GF.
Thank God, dodged a bullet there.
what is the point of ironically posting like this?
>implying he was posting that ironically
That anon merely has a much higher testosterone level than you, homosexual.
They have great bodies but God curses them with their wrinkly fingers and toes.
only a homosexual wouldnt at least have a crack at her
she has a wedding ring
I never watched Wheel of Time, did they just turn it into GIRL BOSS and newly black protagonist type of shit?
I am both jealous and feel bad for guys who prefer old women. You have so many more options of women who would date you but you also are mostly into old farts
Older women are mostly a meme, especially if they haven't had kids and they're over 25. That being said I could fix Mogheiden or however the frick her name is spelled.
Hag lovers will never be normal. have a nice day.
It's already been normalized lol. You lost.
>preffering middle aged and old women over young women has been normalized
No it hasn’t, freak.
idk about preference but its not they're hard to have on the side
>not liking all three
you queer, or something?
Who said anything about "preferring"?
I’ve send multiple people on this board talk about preffering older women
I just began my re-read of The Great hunt.(book 2) In it, Lan says that he can turn Rand into a blade master in 5 years. But we all know if doesn't take Rand 5 years to become a blade master. Why is that?
lan's a pessimist, lan's also exaggerating to make a point of the amount of effort involved, and rand is a talent without peer
No, he says that as a positive. He follows up the statement with "you have good reflexes, and you never make a mistake twice. If anything, it was a optimistic estimation. Perhaps it would take someone with less raw talent more than 5 years.
most people never get even close to becoming blademasters. but if it's an estimate that's worse than the real outcome it has to be considered pessimistic, or at best uninformed.
>and rand is a talent without peer
I missed that last part. That sounds kind of Mary Sue-y to me.
Rand just defies all known limitations, and learns the sword at an inhumanly fast pace.
yeah he's the epitome of chosen one mary sue bullshit. its a terrible series.
Yeah it's almost like he's subconsciously remembering things from his past life as a blademaster. Wild!
How convenient.
what were you expecting from a show about an infinite time loop exactly? it gives it away in the title
You didn't really think that question through, did you.
Rand is not a Mary Sue, since everyone hates him and is afraid of him. He is a reborn demigod with superhuman powers though. That much is clear from the middle of book 1
>reborn demigod with superhuman powers
>book 1
You really the should read the rest of the books
2bh the eye of the world is the most dramatic channeling we get until the cleansing. Melts an army of tens to hundreds of thousands
because hes wizard jesus gigachad with the memories of his past lives
>"re-read"
yeah okay liar
Uncomfortable race relation comedy. I don't really get it. I'm not even sure what they're laughing at half the time.
nina wadia can get it too
I just got to this part and apparently that one anon who said he was an assistant in the production and said there was a scene where slaves were carrying a "pyramid" was legit.
Imagine watching this esgcore blackrockpunk shit fricking lgbtqai++ propaganda white genocide shit instead of just reading the books.
Everyone here is a book reader. What casual TV watcher is going to stomach the show? Not only that, what casual TV watcher will bother posting about the show?
I stopped reading at book 12 and then I learned the author died and so I didnt bother finishing it because sanderson is a hack
>Everyone here is a book reader.
Except you.
>What casual TV watcher is going to stomach the show? Not only that, what casual TV watcher will bother posting about the show?
Me.
>it's an anon gets BTFO and now has to spend shitting up several consecutive threads as a revenge -episode
Getting tired of these turnings.
>It's another anon takes out his vendetta on the show by pestering every anon with snotty "you didn't read the book" posts for infinity.
I'm not sure which is worse, the excessive cuts or the idea they might be deliberate and for stylistic purposes
Mommy appreciators, you're welcome.
thiccccc
Gross old woman
It's live. Most watched TV show of all time. Most read fantasy novel of all time. We live in the greatest of times don't we anons
I understand that you're lonely and need a friend but can you please relax and stop with the weakest of bait?
Absolutely!
Damn this is a great episode so far. Is lanfear gonna fucc mat
>More lesbian Moraine plot
You lied. This is off to a terrible start.
>"would like to redeem ara ara?"
yes, I would
What causes someone to like old fricks
Mommy issues. Same as how girls with daddy issues like older men
I like the part where every character except Lanfear can teleport to wherever the plot needs.
Lanfear blowing everyone up was refreshing
ew, are you actually supporting the show. How are you watching it so early?
>so early
Episodes are released at 7 EST
i watched season 1 and could barely get through it, only because i read the books as a kid
season 2 is good though, its corny as frick and overly dramatic at points but the story beats work and the villians are pretty great
i think the main problem with season 1 was the lack of forsaken plot
Go die
My shitposting has not lasted ten threads, but since the beginning of time. You and I have fought a thousand threads with the autosaging of the threads, a thousand times a thousand, and we will fight until time dies and the show is canceled!
>Go die
why? i can enjoy the show for what it is, the books are teen/young adult fantasy schlock i didnt expect it be high quality
i'd say season 1 is 3/10 and season 2 is clearly above average
i dont understand how anyone who hasnt read the books find enjoyment out of this though
this is one of the worst shows ive ever watched
acting, pacing, plot, special effects, fashion, etc. i feel really bad for people that are fans of the source material. im genuinely shocked at how bad Amazon is with the majority of shit it produces.
The Royal Token Award
Gross.
Yes, that old pink man is gross
Old women are gross
>but trannies arent
Both leak and smell bad
Smeeta Smitten, Showbiz Kitten
someone else remembers goodness gracious me, i see
the sketch from 18:50 is good
Its only now just occurred to me that while "the coopers" is a gag about assimilation, Indians don't actually change their names or really ever try to assimilate in that way. Are they really laughing at someone else. Edgier than I thought.
here is the complete collection of the coppers sketch, the entire series is self-deprecating and so mocks the then average indian in the west need for validation and mucking that up spectacularly
Call me Mr Cooper.
If only you knew.
Can't wait for more girlboss moments next episode!
>rand gets shielded by a single aes sedai
Classic
>egwene starts hucking nukes around
Also classic
>rand asks lanfear for help, basically asking her to kill a thousand people for him
Exactly like the books.
You'll go away, and show fans will be the ones who inherit these threads, and we will discuss the show we love, Prime Video's Wheel of Time authored by RJ: Rafe Judkins.
yea one big satisfaction from the books is reading how rand puts them all in in their place
all these smug girlbosses, all get totally shit on by a man eventually
At least they remembered to edit out the guard rails this time. There was a repeated scene in episode 4? How does this show get 2 years in post production and not get shit like that caught? It's fricking idiotic
I would do the needful with her if you know what I mean
I had forgotten what they did to my boy Loial. I thought he was your average American troony in that webm until I remembered he was in the show. Motherfrickers. Frick this show and these hacks at Amazon responsible.
who are these two chicks?
only read books(many times) outside sanderson shitty fanfic
it's egwene (the ugly one with the pacifier) and her suldam renna, when egwene is collared by the seanchan in falme
the blonde haired brown monster man is loial
fug
egwene is so fricking ugly
i guess you couldn't have m-f banter
I am looking at photos of actors and wtf is this?
>mutts, Blacks, pajeets, chinks, OLD WOMEN
guessing from the thread plot is not the same or even similar to the books
Siuan Sanche shields and captures rand and he just sits there kneeling while they break up
>Siuan Sanche shields and captures rand
e what? i can't even fit it into the books plot, why, when, what happened after?
Do you not remember the time rand gets captured in the woods outside cairhien after lanfear genocides 6 gorillion cairhienen at Rands behest? Then siuan shields him by himself because the White tower needs to keep the dragon reborn in a box, because she, in her 25 year quest to save and protect him, and prepare the world for the coming of the dragon, knows the best way to do that is to keep him shielded in tar valon. Or more likely a Serbian israelite double bluff because old gay black women can't do anything wrong, shes probably being compulsed or compelled in some way.
i think i have enough of it anon
its gonna spoil rest of audiobooks for me
i should not be here
which one is the trolloc tho?
is this girls power show? from all glimpses in this thread it really look like one
The show is Grrl Power, but the books make it a point that while the women have been running things since Lews Therin's Frickup, everything is slowly going to pot and they're barely holding it together without Men able to Weave, not because they're just flat out better, but because Men and Women are supposed to work together.
>Men and Women are supposed to work together.
amen
>The opposite of that is what actually happens.
i know I read the books(few times)
its just that both cast and new plot is so off putting that I can lose my will to listen to rest of the books
*strong women don't need no man and also men should be punished for being men and not women
The opposite of that is what actually happens.
Why don't they just get 4 pregnant aiel women in labor and 5 novices and go kill every shadowspawn on the continent
>guise i'mma trollin'
seriously frick off.
stfu homosexual
I acquired and I am listening to audiobooks and wanted to talk about WoT, and tripped into this thread(checked both lit and tv)
its my honest reaction, casting is fricking awful, the plot is not like in the books, and fans of the show(like you) are cringe homosexuals
sirs pls redeem no benchod bastard b***h do the needful redeem sirs
>Show enrages bookgays
>The guy running it is named Rape Chudkins
Kek
I actually am enjoying watching this. It's more entertaining than the first season tbh.
For me it was watching Maksim encourage lan while he was moping. Every time he isn't on screen, I ask, where's Maksim? He should have access to a time machine too
For me it has become cringekino. I am looking forward to Season 3
>Moiraine that busty.
>Rand that short.
Did siuan really try to capture rand?
>"We Would have been so much better off, if you were a girl"
Not so subtle meta commentary by the writers.
I suppose. But I do wonder how much Lanfear knows tower law.
Oh BROTHER.
If you didn't like the show before, this latest episode will make you apoplectic. There are so many crazy inaccuracies. I don't even know what's happening anymore. We're waaaaay off script now.
I do like the boots
lanfear needs to step on me
I'm hate watching but it's getting so bad I dont think I'm enjoying the pain anymore.
I’m like the opposite of DiCaprio. I only like women 26+
You are mentally broken. That’s what you are you freak.
Is he fricking nuts?
daily reminder that Mat is canonically BLACK

Imagine her slowly bouncing up and down on your wiener muttering Hindi obscenities under her breath
Why slowly?
The only real positive in the episode is more of the autistic Sul'dam. I can't tell if she's stilted because of bad acting, or if she's doing it on purpose, or maybe a bit of both. But however she's pulling it off, it's convincing me that she's a batshit insane autist, obsessed with her plaything.
I don't know if you guys remember Nasim Najafi Aghdam. But she giving the same vibes.
she's not natrually dominant so when she has to play a literal dominatrix it looks awkward
contrast that to the actor who plays lanfear for example
They're a Enby being forced to play a woman. Of course it's going to be awkward.
You mean a woman, forcing herself to play an Enby.
You also go die.
she's definitely got the ambitious psychotic angle down and is doing a good job instilling some lesbo bdsm vibes into her interactions with egwene
>tfw no thicc forsaken gf
>didn't do the prophecy
rafe is a fricking moron
Or maybe when rand asked lanfear to kill a bunch of people
>For me it was when siuan tried to capture rand
Guy is a fricking moron what the shit, they've even already established the Forsaken as quasi religious demons
holy frick can the boys actually do fricking anything
frick you rafe you aids ridden homosexual
why isn't this aviendha
why does rafe keep adding pointless scenes for his gay boyfriend the warder
at least lanfear is carrying rand away from boredom and into greatness
Rand will earn his greatness by pulling a new sword out of a fire and getting branded while giving it to egwene
shit i'm moronic this should be aviendha
Oh that's what you meant. Yeah. it's really insulting that these side characters look better than the main ones. That could have been Aviendha. And pic related could have been Min.
Min shouldn't be some chink, dude.
Meh. I don't care. I envisioned her as Asian the whole book anyway. And if Robert Jordan didn't want me to do that, then he shouldn't have given her one of the most stereotypical Asian names.
>But it's short of Elmindreda! Don't care, they introduced her has Min, I created my image of her of that. Can't change it later. If he wanted a white sounding name, he should have gone with El.
>Meh. I don't care.
Yeah, that's the thing about you people who never read the books.
oh... it's you. The homosexual who responds "you never read the book" every time he hears an opinion that deviates from the talking points he refined over the last 20 years of his life.
And yet you still haven't read the books. Interesting.
What the frick is wrong with you dude?
>I pictured her as min even though he described her every curve down to the smallest detail for 15,000 pages.
>Slender
>Dark hair and dark eyes
>Named Min
Sounds Asian to me. She doesn't have any features that are uniquely white.
>giant ass
Where did that detail come in? Book 5?
It doesn't count if it wasn't presented early, when I was still building the image of her in my mind.
>it doesn't count because I can't pay attention
Maybe try youtube shorts, reading is out of your wheelhouse
Yep, it was a late book. You're getting salty, so I must have guessed right.
>Just forget the image of the character you had in mind for the last 5,000 pages, bro.
Actually we're both wrong. She has one sentence describing her until book 5. But with logic, she's from baerlon, and other people from baerlon look white, like two rivers people.
Autism?
Indeed. The peak form of autism: technical correction.
You Just wait until I finish my re-read. You guys will never be able to doubt my knowledge again. I just started on book 2 today.
you could listen to audio book
it kind of change perspective
This is what that phrase used to mean to white people. The person he pictured playing min in a movie or show. Everyone in baerlon is white. Min is from baerlon, ergo, min is white.
>and the name Min
Elmindreda.
Really you should stop replying to him. He comes in every thread, spews out incorrect facts about the the books and praises the show. He's never read the books. He does this every. Single. Thread.
But why wouldn't I engage in trolling
>the best an attractive woman can hope for in hollywood is a minor role with a handful of lines
grim
left to right
bain avi chiad
rafe is a gay homosexual moron
She's ugly too. No thanks.
>egwene fights ishy in the skies
you know this will happen
>ywn see a male upstaging a woman
>ywn see as male beat a womewn in a fight
these are laws amazon and rafe's crew lives by
every great feat will be given to women, everything of impact. Anything that a male does accomplish will be because a women made it possible
mat turning into his mum and screaming at himself was actually hilarious
hahahahhaha what the frick
>hey man hes in my face
>im in your face
Frick
I hope we get a Horror’s Call adaptation next. Imagine pic related being on screen and a series based on 15+ schizo horror books. Would be unbelievably kino
>rand lanfear just killed all the people in the foregate. You felt really bad when you burnt down a single inn well she burnt down dozens. Any thoughts?
>Rand:*gormlessly stares off into the distance*
Careful how to phrase things. The non-watchers might think that actually happened this episode.
So?
Watch how later, they're going to regurgitate what you say with complete authority, as if they watched the show, but they haven't. The next week will be "Rand didn't care that Lanfear killed people!"
>lanfear DID kill people wantonly
>rand and moiraine DID NOT care
>rand DID stare off gormlessly, as he does every episode
No one is going to repeat it though despite it all being true because it's just one post. Why do you care if people are badmouthing the show anyway? It deserves worse than anything that's been posted itt.
Good criticism is fine. Bad criticism is annoying. You would know this if you ever did anything creative in your life. Actually, let me rephrase that. you would know this if you ever endeavored to improve yourself in any way.
Also, it's not true. Events were happening so quickly, that Rand didn't have time to have a mental breakdown. What the frick do you want? For Rand to collapse in the middle of his escape and start blubbering over the loss of life. Like
>"I... I can't go on.
>"Collapses onto a cart
>"Lanfear, she... she killed so many. She hurt so many. She burned down their homes. "
>Rolls on his back, and covers his face with his arm.
>"And it's my fault. If I didn't ask her... If I wasn't so STUPID"
>Bashes his fist on the cart
>Moiraine: "Rand, your pain has touched this cold heart of mine. Let us set our escape aside, and mourn the lost. Bury the dead. The deserve a proper burial. They deserve that much."
>Also, it's not true.
It is true
But explain to me why he asked the devil worshipping lunatic who routinely eats children for help. The only explanation that isn't fricking moronic is that Rand, knowing their mythological figures because everyone in the universe knows who the Forsaken are and what they did, is because he knew she was the devils right hand man and knew she didn't have a problem exploding heads and setting children on fire. Meaning book 2 rand has no problem killing thousands of innocent families to achieve his goals
Well, frankly he came into this world as a reject. And like a chump he did it all for the nookie. That's right, the nookie.
he's entering his incel arc early that's all
>But explain to me why he asked the devil worshipping lunatic who routinely eats children for help.
Maybe.
Hi rafe
>Rafe spoiling the end of the season on Cinemaphile of all places.
LMAO. I'll take that as a compliment. It means that you think my theory is plausible enough to happen.
>rand orders 6 gorillion peasants killed in the foregateocaust
>To learn that ishamael wants to fight him
Truly what robert jordan would have wanted.
I predict he will find a way to weasel out before it's done.
no but if he handed it off to someone else it would probably be an improvement. putting his boyfriend into the show then inventing irrelevant scenes to feature him narcissistically looking at his own reflection sure is great television
also can't wait for moiraine to die so rosamund pike can stop forcing her own OC bullshit in. she clearly wanted to do a lesbo role and also to act being stilled/shielded
what a shame gaul doesn't exist in this show, he'd love that chiad
Oh the white warder is Rafe's boyfriend? I did find his scenes odd this episode. That explains that.
Moiraine won't simply vanish. She will have adventures in the other dimension. And she will find a way to affect the world through the other dimension. These scenes will take at least 12 minutes of screen time every episode.
>Moiraine won't simply vanish
i suspect she'll suddenly become a tel'aran'rhiod expert and train egwene and nynaeve
>gaul doesn't exist in this show
elaborate
instead of gaul being held in a cage by whitecloaks perrin finds aviendha and frees her
I can't wait to see aviendha and perrin boning
i think they're replacing faile with aviendha so that seems very likely
He's not in the show. There's nothing to elaborate.
>they're doing this uncanny thing called...tying off weaves!
what could it possibly mean? i'm sure nobody could ever figure it out based on experimentation from the name alone.. it's so mysterious and hard to decipher!
>1 episode left
what the utter frick is going is going on
I dont understand this show why the fricking is lann just hanging around as women are talking? HE IS THE PROTAGONIST, HES LITERALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THAT UNIVERSE.
>drink random nightmare juice from a forsaken
great plan mat
here's your Galad Damodred bro
the frick??!
that can't be real
It's not. That's berelain
It's unreal how beautiful ceara coveny is.
whatever that sweater thing is it needs to be removed. post more
if ishamael wants to die so badly why doesn't he ask lanfear or one of the other forsaken to balefire him out of existence
why doesn't he balefire himself
Balefire doesn't kill your soul, you just begin as a beetle and work your way back out of samsara
yeah i guess it can't destroy you utterly otherwise it'd mess up the cyclical nature of the universe. i suppose it's more like being put in time out for a long time
What's our bet for ep8? Fire in the sky is egwene nuking seanchan ships? Ishamael touches tips with rand and whoever cums first loses?
Correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't everyone fighting during that event? The narrative focuses on Rand mainly. But everyone was battling, right? Why wouldn't Egwene nuke some ships?
i really have no idea how they'll do rand vs ishamael in the sky without it looking goofy as frick so SURELY it'll just be their powers colliding in the sky or something
So which discord are all these hag tourists coming from???
Whichever one you're from
>hag tourists
is that what they call visitors to the white tower in this version of the story?
I honestly can't believe they cast her. I thought egwene's actress was really pretty but ceara's looks are like an orbital ionic mog cannon against the rest of the cast. Like it's distracting when she's onscreen.
>really pretty
>I thought egwene's actress was really pretty
please tell me this is an error
Ahh, waifu posting. The last bastion of the shill.
No, your show is still shit and no one will watch it no matter how much you pretend this mid chubby woman is attractive.
I've only been in the thread for a few posts, it is shit but I like it anyway. Why would you be here if you didn't enjoy it?
I mean, the evil dream witch is prettier than egwene, but eggie has big dark eyes, a good petite frame & full lips. Pretty!
Get a real job, shillhomosexual.
>Why would you be here if you didn't enjoy it?
because i find enjoyment in seeing how badly they can frick up and how much screen time they can waste on gay warders crying
imagine the smell
>non-book reader normies are cheering for lanfear and hate the white tower
so rafe was a darkfriend all along...
You don't understand. They turned away Nyneaves old wisdom because she was poor! Not because she was too weak or a wilder or anything like that. She had ratty clothes!
well they are still women so their decision is always correct
> today marks the anniversary of robert jordan's passing and perhaps it is coincidence that today is both the beginning of shooting for season one and when I put into action my plan to shit on the author's life's work.
t. homosexual
Someone with some video editing skills should shop Rafe's face onto this webm and change Frank Herbet to Robert Jordan.
huge wheel head and I cant even be bothered to tune in
its all so tiresome, frick the seanchan I want trollocs
>I want trollocs
you really dont
it's incredible how badly they undermined the fear you're meant to have of trollocs and myrddraal at this stage in the story because they had to put in an epic woman moment
literally every time trollocs have shown up its been an excuse to show how fricking amazing the women are, nynaeve especially
Remember the trolloc human pyramid they used to scale the walls
At least they have giant ring pops and power ranger uniforms so we can tell they're red
Back to reason why i even found this accursed thread.
Its just me of White Tower and Ajah are quite badly designed/presented? Book Ajah are like:
>red, menhaters, subdue male channellers
>green, combat oriented
>yellow, healing
>white, logic and no emotion
>brown, research
>blue, justice, heh
>grey( always forget about them), diplomacy
Like I was thinking about it and had some serious pondering. into their doctrines and functions.
>Yellow, healing sure but also traveling around healing plebs, supervising local wisdom/wise women/etc, mostly lower classes, plenty of wilders, mostly outside towers
>Blue, noble/aristocratic Ajah, connections with their noble houses and thus diplomacy and presence on royal and noble courts, 2nd outside Ajah in opposition to the yellow
>White, teaching Ajah, handle fresh blood, teaching/discipline, academics, future focus
>Brown, research Ajah, pretty much the same but focused on history and old artifacts, past focus
>Green, combat Ajah, focus on power and quality wardens(non expendable), strong presence in borderlands
>Red, military police Ajah(justicars/inquisitors), subduing false dragons, darkfriend etc, many older EXPENDABLE wardens - its big twist here because when they are still manhaters they use bond to control men and make them safe, they also handle more situations in human countries and need trusted men to be their shield, could be that weaker red bond more wardens to compensate lack of power, they would also prefer already experienced/older men as they are better tools(and easier to replace), strong presence in borderlands(main source of recruits)
>grey, sworn directly to the Throne(not amarilyn personally), function as administrative Ajah and the one that mediate between other Ajah
thoughts?
bongs give them awards and even let them become Prime Minister but they'll never be satisfied and will always call bongs racist colonialists
So he gave Mat the memories hoping it'll convince him life will always suck?
i guess they're setting it up so he can see his heroic past lives somehow and realize he's not a loser
Another flopping of le slop.
thought this was lacey sturm, kek not yet atleast
