>Same. Thanks to autism I'll never fully experience falling out alongside the generational divide because I was always divided anyway
This, but autism sucks in an entirely different way instead. The older you get the more your personality is considered weird and off-putting. When you're a child you get praised for how mature you are, but as the years pass other kids grow up while you remain the same, so now you're considered childish instead
Same. Thanks to autism I'll never fully experience falling out alongside the generational divide because I was always divided anyway
But there's a moment where your unusual predilections stop being quirky and become the fuddy duddiness that young people expect from somebody your age. It will happen to you.
You know this is the most npc thing to say, right? Every thread this is either the first post or close to it. You are extremely predictable. Do better.
You left him in an impossible predicament. If he stops doing that he will only be listening to you and being an NPC, but if he continues it he’ll also be an NPC
Same for me in 2017-2019 to some extent. I didn't truly enjoy it however and mostly went through the motions. Now I can't even force myself to pretend I like modern shit.
I was never into what pther children were into. I remember watching the office when i was a kid and by the time it was being fawned over by secondaries watching it for the first time on netflix i was already over it and watched the good episodes a million times on dvd while everyone was still watching spongebob
When I got overweight and girls in public stopped staring longingly at me. It was like night and day. One day i got lots of attention and the next totally ignored. I lost the weight and started getting it again. It was uncanny. Like an on-off switch.
when after some years after losing interest in the PL and football in general I check back and half the teams now are ones I recall being 1st-2nd division that were bought by some nefarious oil sheikh/oligarch/cartel boss who just pumped money into them and now they're in the PL
and some team called Brentford who I had never even heard of until like 2yrs ago
Around my mid 20s I realized I had no idea wtf people were talking about when they were talking about music and movies because I hadn't been consuming those for several years already. It all started sounding the same to me, I remember going to bars and restaurants and it sounded like the same song was playing on a loop everywhere you went. It was around 2014.
when I started subbing at a high school because teachers were striking en masse so I scabbed because I was unemployed and the school in my area was so desperate there were hiring anyone who had in diploma in anything. I was only 23 but the disconnect between me and my class of zoomers was dramatic to say the least
It hangs around for a couple of months and then dies off when people get bored. Of course all these public AIs inevitably censor themselves and become unusable after a while as well. It's just a fad, no one will care next year.
doja cat is the only link i feel somewhat comfortable watching to the zoomersphere
and they seem to hate her ftmp cause she says some wacky edgy things most of the time
7+ years ago when I started to take my phone on walks. Normally I just listen to my own music collection at home but hey Spotify Billboards top 100 or whatever? Sure, lets try....
and it's almost all shit. I don't know any of the acts. The rappers mumble or auto-tune. The songs are simple and some are in Spanish. New country shit is in there too. It's just dog shit music on even a technical skill level.
I'm not saying there are no good artists in 2020+, but the bulk of popular stuff is sooooo much worse now. Few bands, lots re-re-recycled tunes. Terrible.
never, because I was never with "it"
Same. Thanks to autism I'll never fully experience falling out alongside the generational divide because I was always divided anyway
Yup same here. Pretty much makes it so its impossible for me to be manipulated or fall to peer pressure.

You know this is the most npc thing to say, right? Every thread this is either the first post or close to it. You are extremely predictable. Do better.
>not being a follower means you're an npc

repeating the same lines over and over definitely does though
You left him in an impossible predicament. If he stops doing that he will only be listening to you and being an NPC, but if he continues it he’ll also be an NPC

I never lost it, it's the millenials, zoomers, and gen alpha who lost it. My taste is still perfect.
I was with it for very brief periods in 1999 and 2012. That’s all the best of us ever get.
Same for me in 2017-2019 to some extent. I didn't truly enjoy it however and mostly went through the motions. Now I can't even force myself to pretend I like modern shit.
It's been gradual but only very recently have I realised how terrible I think modern fashion is, particularly 'men' looking feminine
Almost immediately after Trump got elected
I grew up in a rural home watching VHS tapes of Monty Python.
I wasn't even with it.

I stopped being with it when people started talking like you.
>people
MySpace was the beginning of the end.
The first widely popular internet thing I didn't take part in.
For me it was MSN messenger.
It was when I realized that every single thread I saw and every single conversation I observed on this site I had seen one hundred times before.
when after some years after losing interest in the PL and football in general I check back and half the teams now are ones I recall being 1st-2nd division that were bought by some nefarious oil sheikh/oligarch/cartel boss who just pumped money into them and now they're in the PL

you have to be with 'it' for this to happen and i've never been with 'it'
When this AI image shit started. The boards are gonna change forever and it already sucks.
