5th season it got noticably worse. It went from actually good storyline and whatnot to just joke after joke most not too funny
I thought it was good the whole way through
You could generally see the show needed to end though, i know you said NO because Michael Scott Left but that was the reason why
the first 3 seasons michael was horrible person who couldn't come to terms with the fact that no one loves him, and he discards any friendship he has like dwight.
the next 2 seasons he's a good dude but just doesn't realize how much of a fricking dick he is.
then he's a genius salesman and just waiting for them all to see his genius plans.
the show is good but Michael is the worst part of it.
he's always been a genius salesman though. he won awards back to back and closed the chili's guy account like it was nothing while singing. stop speedwatching, moron.
does anyone have a working link with the fan made extended episodes?
You mean longer superfan episodes with deleted and some never before seen scenes added? I also would like to know a link.
nbc cracked down some google drive accounts, it might be over
When Michael left.
Show peaked with The Michael Scott Paper Company arc. Cafe Disco is a perfect series finale.
That's a dumb quote
It's dumb that he's taking credit for quoting it but the quote it's self is an excellent mantra.
>take difficult shot
>miss
>opponents get the puck
>Now you're in a worse situation than before
Now what?
Literal autism
How
Okay. It doesn't mean literally shoot the puck as soon as you get ahold of it. It's a general sentiment about not letting opportunities pass you buy. moronic gym bros can understand this. Eminem did a whole movie about it.
Explain
>but the quote it's self is an excellent mantra.
No. It's just dumb
Michael
Jim
Pam
Clark
Nellie
Oscar
Ryan
Kelly
Andy
Gabe
Overall were all terrible
Dwight
Erin
Toby
Stanley
Kevin
Meredith
Angela
Phyllis
Creed
Darryl
Pete
Were overall good
>Ryan terrible
>Plop good
Opinion discarded
When Michael left is the correct answer though
You could also argue when Jim and Pam started dating but S4-6 still has good episodes
It has good episodes until the end. just wasn't consistent
this. it's not that clean, there isn't a clean cut-off
There's not a clean cut off as in it goes from good to shit but it slowly starts going down hill around 5.
But it never went completely bad
There are always exceptions. Its like saying that the first 4 seasons had really bad episodes but they don't make them bad as a whole.
when everybody started dating, which always happens when a substantial amount of the audience is female.
After the Michael Scott Paper Company plot was resolved.
Final episode, Michael gets the manager job back goes out with a big win just like the original Office.
Everything after that is just shark jumping mixed into a ton of filler.
When Ryan came back. Beginning of Michael Scott Paper Company.
Season 4 was still very good but that's were first problems emerged.
Karen was good character and they wrote her out only after one season and made Jim & Pam a couple. Mistake.
I remember that even Jenna Fischer said something like that she hoped that they would have given Pam a little more time to grow as a character before making them a couple.
>Karen was good character and they wrote her out only after one season
They had to I think..she went on to do parks and recreation that same year I think?
Actually no, she was there in 3rd season (2005-2006) i think she could very well have stayed the 4th (2007-2008) because Parks and Rec only started 2009.
Showrunner, writer and producer Greg Daniels and producer/writer Michael Schur left The Office after the 4th season to create Parks and Recreation. If those two guys could stay 4th season so could have Rashida Jones (Karen)
I meant that 3rd season was (2006-2007) and 4th (2007-2008)
Ah alright. thank you anon
Whenever the office became a central point of their universe.
I know it's the name of the show but at some point everyone loved everyone and their sheningans and everyone was good friends and it was supposed to be a show about a workplace.
5th season started slow but steady decline. Still had some great episodes and scenes but became increasingly inconsistent in each following season.
S6 episode 1 with the Parkour
For me is when Andy was made manager. The actor had to leave for so many episodes to film those awful movies that his character lost continuity, and the "bad but sympathetic" manager was the pillar of the whole concept. Obviously the show was declining like any long-standing tv show, but Ed Helms as the "helm" of the show ruined it for me.
When this n-word showed up.
Everything got exponentially ridiculous very fast.
>I made bagels in a C-shape for Charles
when michaels gf left
Season 6 is terrible
I actually enjoyed the Robert California episodes although he himself and Dwight kinda were hard carrying the show. Other than the last season I would say it always had its moments, the "jump the shark" moment for me would be Jim and Pam's wedding. I'd say it's where making it all about their shitty relationship was more or less solidified, and all the problems of the seasons after it are mostly due to those characters. The episode itself is also ridiculously saccharine and if I remember correctly even stole their wedding scene from a popular youtube video at the time
Robert California is kino the show was temporarily saved by James Spader
Him and sillicon valley guy gabe had that UK office energy
Season 4 when they finished all the stories from the original show after that it becomes harder to rewatch the show
